This is more dangerous than texting. That was my thought as I ate my Butterfinger Blizzard while driving back to work. Over the past 8 years I have, on occasion, gone down the street to DQ for an afternoon treat. While it's not gourmet ice cream it'll still get the job done relatively inexpensively. Today I walked in and had a childhood flashback to when my grandmother would bring me to DQ and I'd always get a butterscotch dilly bar. I asked if they still have them - they do but only chocolate and they don't have the "swirly" look that they once did. Things change. But luckily they still have blizzards and I chose a butterfinger one today. Clean store with friendly workers. No restroom. Ice cream cakes available in their freezer display. Yummy vanilla or chocolate soft serve in cones, cups, or swirled up with fixins to create an assortment of Blizzard frozen treats - and they still hold it upside down before they give it to you to demonstrate the thick consistency. I like that they offer kids sizes, since my kidlet would never be able to finish a small cone. They offer dipped cones as well with chocolate and newly added butterscotch flavors. This location is mid sized and they do offer fast food - burgers and chicken fingers etc. But I have only ever ordered their ice cream. Service is fine (looks like mostly teens working here) and prices are reasonable. Overall, this is a nice place to get yummy old fashioned frozen treats that won't break the bank. read more

Made a stop today at this DQ and it was a nice size and clean with a station to pick up ice cream so that there is contactless purchasing. The Wonder Woman blizzard had far too much cookie and brownie dough, but some people might ask for that, after coming here twice recently I hope that this location knows that my family enjoys more ice cream than toppings, we will tell you next time tho. I walked in here at 9:34. They told me that it was already closed so I walked back to my car. As I'm sitting in my car checking the business hours I see someone walking in. Haven't been to a DQ in a while. Staff was really nice and the experience was above average customer servic-wise here. There was a girl working on the register who was cool and a dude (maybe a manager?) and i forgot they flip the blizzard upside down before handing it to you. My friend tried to catch it and I gasped but of course nothing came out Lol. My friend and I were surprised and then all of us kind of laughed about it.
