DQ is one of my favorite burgers overall running. I got a double 1/4 cheeseburger on 4/18/22 around 1850 & it was the worst burger I have ever had! After two bites of the burger I got a weird taste in my mouth, and after looking at the meat in the burger it was obviously freezer burned, pale and smelly. I called DQ and talked to the manager, she got my name and number and said she would have someone get back to me but I never got a call & am very disappointed in the whole experience.... First of all they gave me the wrong order, I asked for a number 9 and they gave me a number 5. They also gave me the wrong slushy, I asked for strawberry kiwi and they gave me cherry. I also never received my onion rings but was still charged for them. They helped everybody behind me in the drive thru and not me. The cook was screaming at the girls who were just standing around on the phones to grab cheese because he was out. Nobody knew where the cheese was. The place was kinda a shit show if you ask me. I watched them help about 5 people behind me while I waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes just on a burger and fries. Pathetic. She had a horrible attitude and was also rude to kid 4 year old because he was spinning a thing that is made for kids to spin to tell them what kind of blizzards they are. I visit this DQ pretty often. Sunday, July 4th, we stopped after our anniversary dinner for some dessert. We were served by a young man named Josiah. He was great! My malt came out without the malt. I wasn't going to say anything, because they were busy, but Josiah, as busy as he was, caught my eye, and asked if everything was ok. I guess I was looking displeased, although I was not feeling particularly crabby. So I told him they forgot the malt. In two minutes, I had a brand new malt in front of me, this time, just as I had ordered. He is perceptive, and very focused on customer satisfaction. Congratulations DQ for hiring someone who really looks after your customers! I would like to add that the Blizzards really need to be blended a little more thoroughly. My husband's Blizzard was mostly soft serve that was unmixed with the butterfinger....he did, however find a really big chunk of butterfinger in there, which wasn't a bad thing. read more

Absolutely done with going here. This time, it was due to them jamming the spoon up against my ice cream sundae, causing caramel and ice cream to get all over my hands, and an overflowing blizzard. My boyfriend and I usually go here because the other location is somewhat far from us. At this point, the drive to the other one is worth it. They've messed up all kinds of things, ranging from not putting the lid on a soda, causing it to spill all over brand new headphones and car radio, missing items, incorrect items, improperly mixed blizzards... too many to count. Worst experience ever. I should have stuck to my side of town. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger for a dine in. It was pretty busy, clearly a lunch rush. So when it was taking so long I figured that was why. But when everyone I was with had their food for so long after half an hour. I went and ask. It was never made. So then they said oops sorry we will make it. So I go sit back down. Another half an hour goes by, STILL NOTHING. I go up there and she gave it to someone else!!!!! At this point I'm like seriously? I will admit up front I am prompted to join Yelp and post my first review ever because of tonight's disappointment. I work about a block from this Dairy Queen and eat here quite frequently. On my schedule, my "Lunch Break" is about 8:15 p.m. Since 2020 began, I have attempted four times to get an ice cream dessert using chocolate soft-serve instead of vanilla. This was not previously a problem until 2020 arrived, and now, all four times, I have asked for chocolate soft-serve in my sundae or "cupfection" only to be told that is is unavailable. Tonight I specifically asked, "Does this happen often?" and got told, paraphrased, that "we shut it down kinda whenever". If this is the authorized modus operandi by night management, I'm definitely disappointed. I know I'll keep eating there because I like the burgers, the French fries are for my taste the best fast-food fries around. Staff are generally helpful, especially that firecracker Tyrell when he's not in college - always full of energy and positive customer service. I don't write reviews as one bad outing does not show or describe the restaurant or fast foods quality but this was a horrible experience. I ordered via the app for the first time. I had seen other people go inside and out with their food within a few minutes while I was waiting in the drive thru line. Deciding to give it a try, I ordered, heading to Dairy Queen, and went to walk inside as was directed by the app. The doors were locked. Stood there for a good 10 minutes no one came. Called several times no one picked up. 15 minutes and we are calling it, placing an order for chick fila when some one runs out from the other side of the building. Asking what we needed help with. Well,..what can I say. We go to Dairy Queen ALL summer long, usually in the summer evenings with the grandkids or just us. Would primarily get their small dipped cones or sundaes. Love them !! This DQ has the slowest service ever and closes at 930pm. Don't come here! It's very common to sit here for 10-15 minutes despite they're only being 2 people in line. They also leave all their lights on past closing which just tricks you into thinking they're open. read more

Really the worst. I've eaten at Dairy Queens all over the county and was excited that a new Dairy Queen was coming to my neighborhood. Sooooooo disappointed. I ordered a mushroom & swiss that truly was nasty even for fast food standards. A thin burger, literally 3 slices of mushrooms in a slimy mess that I suppose was to represent the Swiss cheese. Wife and I ate there last night - previous reviewers are 100% correct - great for desserts, absolutely should be banned from selling anything else. Took a while to get food, and the burgers where gross - over cooked and lacking anything other than meat and cheese and tons of sickening mayonnaise derived sauce.. No lettuce, tomato, etc. Hot dogs were equally awful, cooked way too long, seems they had been sitting user a heat lamp or something for about a week. We have tried this Dairy Queen 4 to 5 times now and are consistently disappointed. We kept hoping that the poor quality food and service was due to it having just opened. However, at this point, it's clearly an Owner/Manager issue. We have been going to the South side location since we were kids but this new location is only a mile from home so we thought we would make the switch.The staff is young and inexperienced and yet, that doesn't seem to be an issue at the other location or other food chains. The burgers are consistently over cooked and hard and then SLOPPED with condiments. The fries are typically warm and hard at best. And the cleanliness is a problem, busy or slow. Again, a staff is only as good as it's owner and management team. And this one needs a LOT of improvement all the way around.
