Saw the sign of this store many months ago when we drive up and down Spring Mountain Road, but I never had a chance to stop by until now. I usually buy plain banh mi baguette , but decided to try one of the special loaf . It is $6.5 each and the plain banh mi is $1.5 each . The store is pretty clean and it was really empty when we got here, but I am sure they got a lot of to go orders as I heard the boss was picking up phone to take big to go order. Plain banh mi was fluffy and banh mi dat biet is tasty. There's a buy 4 get 1 free sign but I only wanted one ... maybe next time .. They also have other cooked items like bun rieu, bun bo hue. but I mainly came in for banh mi . read more

I'm really pleased with this place! I'm originally from CA so I was worried I wouldn't be able to find good Viet food here or find a deli like place. This place did not disappoint! I have not eaten here, but I have ordered a party tray of banh bot loc (it's not on the menu, but you can definitely ask). I also purchased banh tet, banh chung, and do chua (pickles). It really tasted like home. The banh bot loc was so tasty! It had the perfect bounce to it. The nuoc cham was perfect as well. Everything I purchased was exactly what I was looking for. Best banh mi in Vegas so far. Only husband and wife working so it can be long wait for your order while tables may not be clean. But they do baked bread in-house and it's good. Their nem is good and fresh. Desserts probably not them making and it's not good. read more

New spot with such friendly service. Heard great things from a friend and this is currently her favorite banh mi spot, so I had to check it out. You guys, it was such a let down. I hate to do this to a new spot, but I got 5 sandwiches and for the average price of $6.50 each, you don't get what you pay for. I ordered to go and didn't realize till we were eating that they lacked much in filling and they only gave us enough toppings (we asked for them to be on the side) for about 3 sandwiches. 5/16/23 Order and pay at counter. Take a seat if dining in. Ordered Bun Bo Hue and Bo Ko. A bit of a wait for food to come out and both entrees did not come out together. Flavor for both were good; in fact better than former Dakao. Presentation was good. But, the portion sizes were small, kid-size even. The to go foods did not adhere to food safety standards. That stuff should be refrigerated. Food spoils easily in the heat. We live in the desert and summers here are brutal. Particularly when the air conditioning wasn't sufficient to dine in comfortably. The gentleman man behind the counter was very nice and answered questions that I had about their items. I got the grilled pork, pork meatloaf. The grilled pork had a lot of pieces the only bad thing is there was alittle too much mayo on it. The pork meatloaf was very tasty it had pate in it along the mayo. The bread they used is like a sub type of bread not a long baguette type of bread. They also offered other items there but I didn't try them yet. The offer they have now is buy 4 get 1 sandwich free. I'll be going back to try their roast pork belly sandwich and their pho sandwich which they use beef brisket. read more

We thought we'd grab a bite, the prices were reasonable but there was almost no meat in either the two sandwiches we bought. The meatball sandwich only had one meatball in a 6-7" sandwich and the crispy roast pork had hardly any very small cubes of pork. The veggies were fine as was the bun. Also the restaurant had no clean tables, we had to brush off food debris at around 1:30 in the afternoon. No one was bussing the other tables that were empty and dirty. Kind of a disappointing experience. I read the reviews and felt hopeful they would serve a good sandwich. Probably won't go back. read more

Finally decided to try this place out because I'm still on a hunt for the best banh mi in town. The shop have several seating areas if you opt to dine in. I strictly went in for the banh mi and the menu that they had on display was just the different banh mi options. I had no idea they also served pho. But the other customers who arrived after us ordered it. Where was it on the menu?! Idk. Anyway, the man who helped me was really nice and took his time with my order making sure it was correct. If I was reviewing strictly on service, I'd give him 5 stars. But the sandwich itself was ok. I felt that the bread was too much. It was perfectly toasted but the meat/veggie portion was too little for the amount of bread and the pickled veggies were just too bland to my liking. read more

You can safely ignore any bad reviews about this place. I have tried pretty much every banh mi in town, and also those in Little Saigon in OC, and I once spent 3 weeks in Vietnam. I tried the #1 banh mi with cold cuts and it was delicious. The bread is crispy but thin and not dry. The veggies are super fresh. It includes pate, so it is more on the tratraditional side of banh mi. I loved it. Don't hesitate to try Dan Han. We are very lucky to have a sandwich option like this in Las Vegas. read more

Came in looking for Pho but had done really good Bahn Mi instead. They are currently but 3 get 1 free. We tried the grilled pork, grilled beef, egg and sausage and the pho sandwiches. Bread was fresh and tasty, they didn't skimp on the ingredients, and the prices were perfect. I think the most expensive was $7.95. The fresh spring rolls were really good too. Cash only right now but there is an ATM a block away. read more

My husband and I were craving pho and banh mi and found this delicious little spot. Unfortunately, they didn't have pho on the menu so we were a bit disappointed at first until the server recommended the Bun Bo Hue. We almost walked out to look for pho somewhere else but hesitantly decided to take his recommendation. My husband loved it more than pho! It had so much meat in the bone marrow broth. We moved here from San Jose, so we've been trying to figure out where the best Vietnamese sandwiches are. My nail ladies said this place is pretty new and they heard good things about it so I tried it today and was so disappointed. Dac Biet - barely any meat. throughout the entire sandwich there were only six really thin slices of meat. The bread was so dry and hard, cutting up the roof of your mouth. The veggies were low quality, and the cilantro was all stems. And the quest continues. read more

What a wonderful find. This place is no frills. It's affordable and delicious and made well. Please support this small business. I ordered banh mi ( dac Viet, heo quay, thit nướng), chao long, bun bo hue, and bun rieu and got an assortment of desserts and snacks they had ready made. Nothing has been bad. Is this place a Michelin guide experience? No. But it is delicious and run by a sweet Vietnamese man. Service is just two people and some may say is "slow" but I found it comforting. I called ahead and he was very kind. We love everything we ordered. We love the experience. We love supporting small businesses. read more

Wanted to grab lunch for my daughter for work. Decided on getting her a banh mi. Googled some places and came across this one and wanted to try it because it was new and I'm kinda over some of this basic banh mi places . Well add this place to the list... service was good buuut when I tell you they skimp on the fillings smh. I ordered grilled chicken and what I got was boiled chicken. And thats not the first place. Located just around the corner from Sunright, facing Spring Mountain, Dan Han is one of the newer spots in town for banh mi with the added bonus of a spacious dining area and a separate menu for sit-down meals. That said, I've mostly popped in for a quick to-go banh mi and noticed a lot of other patrons do the same. This place is super clean and well-organized. It's got a nice, welcoming vibe, and the gentleman behind the counter is always friendly, with a smile on his face while taking orders and bagging orders. The prices here are also pretty competitive, with banh mi costing a little less than most other spots--usually about 25 to 50 cents cheaper. Plus, they offer a "buy 4, get 1 free" deal, which is a nice bonus. As for the food, my go-to is always the House Special/Combination. The baguettes are girthy and soft, with none of the sharp edges that can scrape up the roof of your mouth. But my only issue with the filling is that the pickled veggies seem fresher than they are pickled, which makes the sandwich taste a little more bland and less flavorful than I'd like. That's the plaza which others may know more for being the home of the smaller SF Supermarket, or both Sushi Neko and its younger sister Neko Supremo. This spot is above Supremo, and ideally you'll wanna park in the small uphill parking lot that's the same height as the second floor. I was born into the Vietnamese diaspora and have experienced some of the best of what California has to offer. Since moving to the Vegas area over a decade ago, I've tried Vietnamese restaurants here. Very few have come close to approaching the variety or quality of what I know great Vietnamese food can be. But when I ordered the Pho Dac Biet ($17.00) here today, I was surprised to find myself enjoying it more and more with every slurp of broth and bite of the various proteins. A small squeeze of lime helped a lot even though the broth wasn't on the sweet side. The spice profile lingered even after I left the place. Most of the meats were great except for the rare steak tasting a bit bland. My main issues were the basil portion feeling a little stingy, the overall portion also feeling pricey (it's not a large bowl), and the flank steak not being cut into small enough pieces. Those hunks were way out of proportion compared to the quartered meatballs and everything else. I also noticed a happy hour special masquerading as lunch: two specific grilled pork entrees offered at a discount 2-6pm on weekdays. I took home a Banh Mi Thit Nuong ($3.99 special price) for dinner. The marinade is strong enough and sweet and there may be some very slight charring, which makes a huge difference in the rare cares I get it in one of these sandwiches. The other ingredients are fresh enough. It is a justifiable buy at regular price ($7.00), but is an unbeatable deal when discounted. Pho & More is a huge step in the right direction for a Vegas Viet food scene that is seemingly in perpetual failure to launch. This is the strongest recommendation I have to give for something that is not a real 5-star spot: please go and support them if you want the Vietnamese food scene to succeed here, get a good bowl of pho and/or a cheap weekday grilled pork dish, and maybe gasp at the actual durian in their fridge while you're at it.

The wait during lunch hour wasn't bad at all compared to other spots in Chinatown. Good servings to feed a group. Recipes taste standard and aren't extraordinary. The pho here was quite bland somehow and watery. I think there was flavor missing somehow. I expected the orange chicken to taste better but it was a good amount of meat for the price. Be wary for those with peanut allergies because a lot of peanut-based sauces are used and there could be cross contamination in the kitchen. Bathrooms located in the back. Overall not too bad.
