    Iced coffee with Oat milk

The Ice Coffee is so good! I had the ice Coffee with oat milk and the vanilla syrup. They make the oat milk in house and all their syrups. Plus this is a Big Plus they put coffee cubes, so the ice is made of coffee which makes so much sense so when it melts it's not watery. What a brilliant idea! Service is always good very friendly. And the atmosphere is so cozy. I love this place

I'm visiting a friend in Houston, and she brought us here. It's a beautiful cafe with great food and a variety of drink options. I had a strawberry mint agua fresca, which was refreshing (although a bit light on mint flavor) and tasty. I also tried the turkey sandwich, and I was impressed with the flavor and by how filling it was! I'd definitely come here again if ever I'm in Houston.

Atmosphere: Walked in there was a relatively short line but all the tables were filled. Due to the small amount of seating, they ask you to order before grabbing a seat. Surprisingly by the time I ordered my food multiple tables were open. It's definitely a tight fit, with your neighbor sitting right next to you. Let's talk food: I almost didn't get the lemon blueberry french toast sticks because they were sticks & had fruit toppings but sooooo glad I did!! They use a thick foccacia bread so it's chewy on the outside, soft on inside. It's sweet before you put any toppings so there is clearly something sweet in the batter before they make it. I got all the lemon, cream, blueberry on the side. If you like really sweet French toast get it as-is. If you want to control the sweetness and/or the amount of fruit toppings & sauce get them on the side. The maple sausage is clearly homemade. It comes smashed, irregular patty shaped with lots of flakes of seasoning goodness. Has a hint of heat from pepper & is not your ordinary sausage. Very flavorful! I tasted the pancakes & they are light & airy with a little bit of a crusty edge. Can definitely tell it's made with buttermilk. I like this place. I've only tried breakfast. I would definitely come back & recommend a visit. I would just try to come during less popular times.

First of all in my head when I thought of the name I thought it would be set up something like Betsy's at Evelyn Park or Tiny Boxwood with some type of green space. I was surprised that it was it in a strip center. Inside the ceiling covered in flower decor to give it a nice touch...few tables outside on the sidewalk. Looks like they are renovating the outdoors as i had to walk under scaffolding. Indoors can hold about 30 ppl or so, but some tables are uncomfortably quite close, but had no issue finding a spot. Im not going to lie, all dishes aren't the best for me, but some are great like biscuits and gravy. I get a side order of this every time I go so I can also try another item. First time I got the side of b&g and a loaded omelet and it was too big and I had to take half home, but that wasn't the issue. For me sometimes too much takes away from a dish and this was the case. 2nd time with my side order of b&g I got the breakfast sandwich and it was a hit, again massive, but not so many ingredients made it very enjoyable. They also gave me a side of pancakes for free as I explained how I went to their newest location and they wouldn't do a side of biscuit & gravy. Drove 30 minutes to the original spot. Every time I also get a massive cup of cappuccino. I enjoy it not being in a to go cup as to go cups make me feel like Im in rush at work. Service is great and love is the hospitality

We were hoping to find a fantastic new spot for a vegan-friendly meal and had high hopes for Dandelion Cafe since it pops up with Yelps Vegan options. After looking at the menu, we were disappointed to discover that there was only one vegan option available other than the juices. The experience was further hindered by how packed it was inside as well as the construction outside, which made the exterior of the cafe feel uninviting and difficult to navigate. Since we had our dog with us, I was unable to go inside to explore. From what we could see, the interior looked like a cute and cozy, though small, space. However, due to the off-putting outdoor environment and the lack of suitable menu options, we decided not to stay. We never got to try the food and left feeling let down. We may consider returning at a later date, once the construction is finished, but our first impression was unfortunately not the best.

Had a chance to try Dandelion Cafe after being in a mood for chicken and waffles! Coming on a Sunday afternoon around 1 PM, I was expecting a wait from the typical Sunday brunch crowd. There was a line upon entering, however after about 10 minutes, we were able to order at the counter and get seats. We ended up ordering the Blueberry Lemon French Toast and the Chicken and Waffles. The food came out relatively pretty fast and both were great! I definitely enjoyed the chicken and waffles as the chicken had a good taste and the waffle was light. The French toast was also good, but can get a bit overwhelmingly sweet if you do not have something to alternate it with. Overall, the flavors were great and the food was fresh. The restaurant is self serve, and they have a station with cold water, utensils, and condiments. There is seating indoors and outdoors, and a large parking lot in front (however can get full depending on the crowd). If you are coming with a large group during busy brunch hours, it might be a bit difficult getting a table considering the space inside.

I stopped in cause of. TikTok video I saw. I didn't get the same experience but I was still pleased. I did enjoy the hibiscus honey mimosas. It was refreshing. I also enjoyed the honey butter chicken biscuit. It was a whole chicken thigh fried in between 2 homemade biscuits. I wish it had a little more seasoning but it was ok. I definitely could not finish the serving. It was a lot of food. It's a small quiet cafe. Very peaceful. One restroom and it's shared however kept clean. Staff was friendly but I had to ask for silverware and i received it then had to ask for napkins. I got my food with no napkin or fork. Other than that it was a decent visit

We didn't even the chicken and waffle. They were featuring apple cinnamon pancakes which were amazing. We also had chocolate chip pancakes and breakfast tacos which were also very delicious. This place makes really good breakfast and the prices are very reasonable. Service is also very friendly and it seems like the staff is also very happy. Definitely plan on going back to try their infamous chicken and waffles. 5.

I came here to meet a friend for breakfast. It was both our first time. There was a few things that appealed to me right away. First off, it's black owned, and I love to support that. Secondly Houston Chron named it one of the best brunches, and thirdly Good Morning America named it the winner of United States of America. With all that in mind I went in excited. We came at 10am hoping to beat the crowd on Sunday. But it picked up right when we walked in. Order at the counter and have a seat. I secured the table first and my friend got in line for us. Service- when I read the reviews before going, was a bit nervous as most said the service was lacking. But it was fine for us, for dinner-style. Otherwise said they were not happy by the prices, but to me they were typical? Food- so many good options on the menu look good. Its mostly known for its award winning chicken & waffle. But I wasn't in the mood for it. My friend ordered 2 eggs and the lemon blueberry french toast, comes with 3 pieces of bread. I had half of 1 slice. It was pretty tasty. But lemon blueberry is always a great combo. For my meal I decided on the honey butter chicken biscuit. It was very good. The chicken was seasoned well and juicy. I also ordered the single pancake. Which is huge, fills up an entire large plate. It was not my style of pancake (texture, taste, edges, and size.. its alot of factors that go into it see?). But I took it home nonetheless to eat it later as I was full by then. I'm sure it IS someone's else's favorite type of pancake though, give it a shot. (sometimes size isn't always better) Overall with the cutesy decor feel, and most of the food being yum, and service being fine, great place to enjoy breakfast.

Dandelion café is a small place & when I visited it was superpack & very busy so had to sit outside but luckily it was a nice day out. I see why this spot is popular they have many brunch & lunch options. I ordered the Good Morning America approved 24-hour marinated crispy fried chicken over a cornbread buttermilk waffle topped w/ spicy maple syrup. This is a breakfast favorite which I would recommend because chicken was very juicy just need little more spice. Pancakes are another favorite because they are fluffy and huge one is satisfying for one person

Ever since I randomly found this restaurant in the Heights I've been obsessed. Now that I've moved my go to location is on Bellaire, and it hits! The service is great, attentive, and fast. I always get the veggie scramble with a biscuit. Let me tell you I literally be thinking about that biscuit all the time, it's so good & with the apple cinnamon jam - delicious!! I know it's got to be homemade This is a very casual place and when the weather is nice I enjoy sitting outside which I'm glad is an option. Dandelion Cafe is definitely in my rotation for breakfast.

Great selection of coffee, latte, tea and all the condiments you would want think or need. I got the hot Lavender honey latte with oat milk! I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and both were amazing. Quaint seating remind me of coffee shops in New York City. But the atmosphere is nice and easy going(southern charm). Service was quick! When her appointments were completed, it was in the beginning of peak traffic time, so we decided to walk over to DS and have a bite to eat and catch up This space is so open as well as cozy. Soon as you enter, you head straight to the counter to order. From there, you're given a number and choose your seat. Booth and table options are available. On a Thursday afternoon, the place wasn't busy but not empty, which gave my Mom and I the opportunity to catch up without a noisy dining room. The food came out fresh and hot and for the price, we were surprised by the portion since its was the $10 HH burger and fries. The fountain drinks were interesring as well. DS does not have Coke or Pepsi products. They have similiar flavors you would find with those brands. I enjoyed the Mexican Coke. It seemed to not be as fizzy aa your own well know caffenated Compadres but still carried a great flavor. Let me not skip over the dessert! Mom LOVED the pecan pie which she states had whole pecans instead of pieces. I did not wven notice that she had been getting pieces of the pie as we talked. Half of it was gone when we left. That means is pretty scrumptous! I had enough willpower to eat my chocolate chip cookie when I got home and it was worth the wait! Not only is the cookie huge, but the semi sweet chocolate and sea salt is chef's kiss. Grat combo of both worlds. Combine that with the crunchy outisude and chewy, gooey interior and this is one of the best cookies I've tasted in a long time. So glad to dish all this goodness to Yelpers and remind them of another gem in West U that will not only give you a great place to get a bite but satisfy that sweet tooth.

I stopped by with my buddy on a Thursday evening close to 9 p.m. Free parking was a cinch in the parking lot they share with several other businesses. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. The lady who brought me my food checked on me twice and was super nice. She called me "sweetheart," a little Southern hospitality goes a long way. Ambiance (4/5): Modern, clean, and comfortable. In line with other Dish Society locations I've been to. We sat at a booth/table combo. Drinks (4.5/5): I love when a restaurant has more than your standard selection of soft drinks. You'll find that at Dish Society. They have "craft" sodas and a nice selection of juice blends. Plus sweet and unsweet tea. Food (4/5): I went with a cup of the tomato bisque soup and the Nutella French toast. The soup tasted as good as it looked. Some croutons or a piece of garlic bread would have been nice, but outside of that, this starter couldn't have been better. The Nutella French Toast was similarly well done. I love French Toast and I love Nutella. So this was a match made in heaven. Along with some sliced strawberries and some blackberries, I was happy I went with a breakfast dish for dinner (they serve brunch all day). The prices are affordable for the quality of the food. My only complaint? The portion sizes are pretty small. Case in point: two slices of French toast when most places will give you four. Pro tip: Join their club for discounts.

There was a pathway at one point for a drive-thru, but I don't think this was retained. Instead there's more parking space, which in a place like Houston is already a luxury in itself. The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. Restaurant vibe is relaxed and clean. There were several large parties and what looked like a lot of date night guests. Just try it. No regrets!!

This was my second time dining here, and given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, my expectations…read morewere higher than usual. Unfortunately, just like my first visit, they were not fully met. We had reservations for brunch, and our party of six was seated immediately on the beautiful second floor. Service was efficient throughout the meal, with our waiter taking our orders promptly and the food arriving quickly. To start, we ordered the Brussels and the hummus. The Brussels were cooked very well and had an excellent crispy texture, but I felt the kung pao vinaigrette lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. A little more sweetness and acidity would have helped brighten the dish and make it more memorable. The hummus, on the other hand, pleasantly surprised me. Both the red beet hummus and edamame hummus were flavorful and enjoyable. They paired well with the crisp flatbread and even served as a nice accompaniment to some of our less exciting entrées. For my meal, I ordered the marinated artichoke pizza, which unfortunately did not stand out. I had the same issue that I experienced during my previous visit: the crust was simply too thick and chewy. After a few slices, my jaw was genuinely getting tired from all the chewing. The pizza also could have benefited from more bacon and a more generous amount of sauce, as it came across a bit dry overall. The campanelle suffered from a similar problem. While I understand that simplicity was likely the goal, the dish was so understated that it ended up feeling bland. It tasted like a slightly elevated version of buttered pasta with just a hint of white wine. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, but it lacked the depth of flavor needed to make it memorable. On a much more positive note, the carrot cake pancakes were easily the star of the meal. I tend to gravitate toward savory breakfasts, but my sister was eager to try them, and I am so glad she did. These were not your typical pancakes. They were thick, fluffy, and incredibly soft in the center. With toppings like maple butter, maple cream, mascarpone whip, candied walnuts, and cardamom sugar, I expected the dish to be overwhelmingly sweet. Surprisingly, everything was balanced quite well. While I cannot imagine finishing an entire plate by myself, anyone with a sweet tooth would absolutely love them. Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me with its atmosphere, service, and a few standout dishes, but the entrées I have tried have not lived up to the hype. If I were to return, I would happily order the hummus and carrot cake pancakes again, but I would probably skip the pizza and pasta in favor of trying something new.
