My husband and Bestie had the chicken and waffle, which was okay they would have been great if the chicken had not been cold. My BF husband had the biscuit and gravy. The gravy was fire. I had the classic breakfast, and my niece had the veggie omelet, which she said was delish. The orange juice was fresh squeezed. I liked the hashbrowns, and the biscuit wasn't bad. It was rather good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the dish itself was a little to sweet for my liking, and would have been better if balanced with more tartness and/or saltiness to break up the overwhelming sweetness. Cute local coffee place. Perfect for catching up with a friend, as its a bit of a chatty scene on a Saturday morning. The staff is sooo friendly and they also make little breakfast bites in the morning. I had a latte and an avocado toast. My only suggestion is that they serve the avocado toast on a plate (instead of in a paper basket). It made it a little tough to eat. They have a quaint down-home feel while also offering interesting dishes like the lemon curd French toast sticks that I got. Family friendly atmosphere with kind staff who care about your experience! If it's a nice day, they have some seating on the outside of the building to enjoy the weather, but the interior of this beauty is gorgeous with floral arrangements hanging from the ceiling. Found this adorable little hole in the wall on total accident while cruising Yelp looking for a quick brunch while tagging along with my husband for work. The name got my attention and the menu got my interest. The food got this review. I had the lox bagel and my husband had the lemon blueberry French toast. I was looking for some place that had Avocado Toast. I looked on Yelp and decided to try this place. The people were so friendly and I was wishing I had more time to sit and enjoy my breakfast but had to get it to go as I had an appointment. It appeared to have a lot of locals and I can see why. There are a lot choices. As I waited for my food to be prepared I saw lots of entries that looked amazing. I will have to go back on my next doctors visit and eat in the restaurant instead of doing take out. The Avocado toast was so yummy. It had a really good flavor and was on a roll. I visited for the first time during the week on Friday and the food was AMAZING fresh and presentation was great even with it being TO GO!! I went the next day Saturday again and unfortunately the quality and presentation went down severely. Maan but the homemade biscuit is almost a meal in itself sooo good!! Such a wholesome brunch experience! Slightly outside of the Houston area but it was so worth the drive. Has something on the menu for everyone-- covered both my sweet and savory cravings with the strawberry and cream stuffed French toast, breakfast tacos, and avo toast! Great vegetarian options available. We came around 11 and there was a line but it moved very quickly and the staff has figured out a very efficient system to get the food out rapidly! We didn't even have to wait for a table. Within minutes of ordering at the counter and finding seats, our food was already out! Literally searched breakfast near my job and located this gem. This place is beyond cute. I don't say "cute" too often, but I couldn't think of another word. The ambience is bliss. It's spacious, neat, and has like a rustic decor. I ordered 'The Sandwich' with no bacon, it comes with egg and cheese and the gentleman asked if I wanted to add spinach as a substitute. Umm yes, please. The guys that helped were friendly and had great customer service. I also ordered a large hot macchiato. Tuesday is my looooooong day so I need all the energy I can get. I can definitely see myself returning back to this location to do some studying or some leisure reading! They also serve beer and wine, so duh I will be returning for some of that. I'm impressed. They say the devil is in the details and this place has nothing to worry about, everything is on point. When we came in everyone that works there is super friendly and on the ball. At first I was disappointed that they had ran out of French toast. So I got a chocolate chip pancake instead. I got a chai tea with almond milk and a veggie scramble. We got our food but the silverware wasn't ready. But when it was put out in the help yourself section it was spotless. They polish the silverware! So I can't get mad at them. My chai tea was light, not too sugary and delightfully cinnamony! The food was great. My scramble tasted fresh and the bread! Well the slices of toast had poppy-seeds and sunflower seeds. It was quite delicious even without jam, it didn't really need it. So not upset by that either. The chocolate chip pancakes were amazing! They had a little after taste that I can't identify but it was great! One of the better pancakes I've tasted. This place is a fresh, friendly, chill surprise of a place. I hope it never changes. Wow, I finally tried this breakfast place and I really enjoyed it. Super cute interior too, origami flower wall! For a sunday brunch, the inside was pretty full. Luckily we were able to get a table around 1pm. Their food takes quite a long time to make because we waited 20-30minutes for our order to come out - we were starving but it was packed, so understandable. There is a self serve water station right next to the entrance. The staffs are super friendly! The seats are kinda high and table is low which I found a bit uncomfortable. The omelet I ordered was honestly really good, the potatoes were so yummy. We also got the stuffed french toast with berries and omg you need to try this! Pretty sweet so perfect for dessert. We also got the thanksgiving meal which was filling and delicious. The french toast was a perfect sweetness with a smooth cream cheese in between laters. The sandwich was in a pretzel bun, super unique. Both lattes very creamy. I had been here before and the food was good, nothing extraordinary but it was good. Today we ordered chicken chilaquiles, lemon curd French toast and a breakfast sandwich. The French toast were just 3 bread sticks and the flavor was okay, you can go on food network and look up the recipe for sure. The chilaquiles were so small and sad looking that we had them change them for something else they were literally 8 tortilla chips what looked like a scramble eggs and a tablespoon of pico de gallo, we had a grilled cheese which was terrible for a grilled cheese. The breakfast sandwich was okay but for the price I would rather go to McDonald's. You can work very hard, and still not come up with good food. It is definitely not the servers/cashiers fault but the owner/chef for not taking the time of evaluating what's on the menu. If you want to support small businesses, I recommend "NEW YORK DELI" or "EL RANCHERITO" or any other place that is not this establishment, let's support small businesses because they are good and they need our support not because they are "trendy looking" or have cute names for their plates. I hope they do improve their menu and they stay open. read more

We were early for a wedding venue viewing so we decided to get breakfast. Nowhere was open so we were just randomly driving and saw this place. I didn't know what to get and didn't have time to research so I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and tomatoes. Let me tell you that this was the best breakfast sandwich I had ever had. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was perfectly cooked, and bread was soft and tasty, and the tomatoes were just right. When I bit into a bunch of food didn't fall out and it maintained its shape. I ate it so fast that my boyfriend offered me a bite of his (same but with sausage). We also had a well made macchiato and this blueberry mint lemonade. A great locally owned breakfast/lunch shack in the Bellaire area. Most the dishes on the menu are semi-healthy. We went a veggie scramble with wheat toast and a grilled mushrooms panini with a side salad. All the ingredients were fresh and the seasoning was on point. We finished everything. Quaint and quite little spot in Bellaire. Plenty of seating, good parking. Teas, coffees, pastries and sandwiches. Outlets are not plentiful as I would have wished, I had to sit in the 'bad kids corner' to get electric. The seating is hard, wooden, not the comfy kinds that swallows you and makes you want to read a million books. The tea comes out on a wooden slab in a tea press accompanied with a small cup of honey and a sand-drip timer. This is the cutest idea I've seen in FOREVER!! Made me want to think of a way to implement this into my home tea time routine, even though that would probably be ridiculous, but if I had guests over for tea (and I likely never will because my troops prefer wine and booze) then I would definitely cop one of these to take it to the next freaking tea level. Well, my butt started aching because I don't have much of a butt regardless of how frequently I eat and Yelp, I really wish they had seat cushions at least. But chair/pressure sores (exaggeration) are a small price to pay for cute coffee, open seating and a place to escape without having to park 20 miles away and trek to you caffeine destination. I like. Decided to go into the city with my girlfriends. We tried this cafe and the food was soo good. The place was completely full. You walk up and order and then find a table. They had someone helping manage the tables. We were seated before we all finished ordering. They have carafe of mimosas in several flavors. I had the hulk smoothie with lots of healthy stuff. I also had the black bean tostados and they were very good. A little spice and egg was cooked perfectly. Others had chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and everyone was happy with what they had. The coffee: They have Greenway coffee here. I had a cortado which was kind of interesting. It was very creamy. It had a warm toffee-y flavor to me. I'll have to come back and try the drip coffee. The shop: There are a lot of tables of varying sizes but it doesn't feel too cramped. There are some outlets, but they're against the wall and behind the benches so they're kind of hard to access. The decor is nice and there are large windows to let in some natural light. It can get a bit loud though. Overall: I'm a fan. The coffee was pretty good (I'll have to come back and try the drip) and it feels comfortable inside. I wish they were open a bit later and had better access to outlets. This would probably make a good date spot rather than a work or study spot. read more

OK, dandelion Café. This review is going to hurt me more than it will hurt you. I am so disappointed and have no clue how GMA voted for you guys to win. From service , to presentation, to food taste and quality. Unfortunately, I have to give a two out of five. I planned to get up early this morning and come to your café in honor of my birthday. When I hit the door, I wasn't greeted by anyone had no clue that you have to walk to the counter to place an order. Everybody that walked into your restaurant looked just as confused as I did. You had three workers sitting having a meeting during one of your most busiest times, and no one was greeting or assisting people as they came in the door. So for service I definitely give you a 1.5 out of 5. Placed my order at the register, got the chicken and waffles, scrambled eggs, and a vanilla cinnamon latte. The scrambled eggs couldn't have been real farm fresh eggs because they were pretty much white with no yellow. I ask them to be scrambled soft, they were almost fried and dry. The chicken and waffle was not good at all. The fried chicken is chicken thighs, which I prefer white meat. You guys should give people an option of the type of chicken they want if you're going to serve untraditional chicken thighs. The chicken was not hot, it wasn't fresh, nor was it fried enough for me. The waffle was thin very similar to an Eggo waffle and the butter that you put on there was not good. The latte was full of mostly milk, I didn't have any cinnamon on top, and there was no presentation. The guy just poured the milk in, no foam, no design of any kind on top, and it overflowed and spilled all in the saucer. I spent $35 and took about two bites and sips of everything. I would not recommend this café, and I definitely won't be back. When I got up to leave several of your workers saw that I left pretty much my entire plate there and they didn't even think to ask how was everything? Was there an issue with the food they just let me leave. So again for service I really should probably give you a 1.5. Lastly, there's no signage to your place outside. I passed you up three times. You should probably get a sign created to place on the front of your restaurant. read more
