    Peach Colada Yum!
    Linda R.

One of my favarite things about New Orleans is that there is a frozen daiquiri shop on every corner! This place had more flavors then the other places so we stopped in. I got the Peach Colada and my husband tried the Mango. They both were really good. I suggest getting the 32 ounce size especially if you are walking around on a summer day.

Showed up at noon on a Saturday for a quick bite. Only offered cheese or pepperoni (by the slice) Pizza was surprisingly decent and larger than I expected. After our pizza we walked Burbon street a bit. On our way back, we returned for a frozen drink and beer. I opted for the Jungle Juice. It was very sweet but good on such a hot humid day. Beer on tap was advertised but only available in can. Staff was friendly and greeted us on both trips. Two slices of pizza and two sodas = $15

So we walked up and down Bourbon and ended up at this establishment. Mainly due to my friend saying that it was the only place that actually looked clean. I should have known something was off with nobody inside and the guy behind the counter was clearly not focused at all. Once we ordered our drinks and handed our money to pay he stated that his systems were down and we needed to pay with cash. I clearly didn't have case on me and looked at him crazy. My friend luckily did have cash but that could have turned out bad. I ordered the Margarita because I wanted something plain and not extra with all the fruity flavors it was decent. All in all it is a daiquiri shop but remember all that glitters isn't gold.

You ain't going to New Orleans for pizza, and no matter how "good" it looks at 3 am after a long night of "enjoying Bourbon Street" I recommend you steer clear. $4.50 for a slice with toppings is crazy and the hot dog I had from a street cart was a whole lot tastier.

I stumbled upon this place of course like everybody does while walking on bourbon street. They had myriad of flavors of Daquiris. And they are nice enough to let you try how much ever you want. I tried a lot of flavors and ended up buying the mango. I have to say the flavors were different enough but my only complain is that it was a tad bit too sweet. I could definitely taste the alcohol but with a LOT of sugar! Personally I am not a big cocktail drinker but I know when I find a good one with a balance of all flavors to alcohol and this was not one. Moreover, the ambience is very pretty and the people are very nice. All this place offers is fun vibe walking down the bourbon street. Would I go again? I don't know...maybe if I am drunk enough! But surely it is a very NOLA specific place so I would probably go again with friends for the fun of it.

Love the daquiri's from here! Literally the only thing I drink while in Nola! I definitely recommend the drinks here. The pizza is very good as well!

I had the mango flavor, I can't remember anyone else's LOL

Mmmmm pepperoni pizza. So good. Thin buttery crust and perfect ratio of cheese to marinara. I was not disappointed!

All daquiris on Bourbon are the same, pretty much. Sweet, frozen, and liquor- no matter the flavor.

The burger was cooked medium-well, and the bacon was crispy without being overcooked. The house sauce was a perfect compliment and really tied all the flavors together. If I'm being a critic, I prefer well done but I did not specify and I understand most people would rather have it the way it comes. :) The fries came out hot, fresh, and seasoned well. To top it all off, I ordered the Ms. Josephine Baker cocktail, and it was excellent--it completed the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was another highlight. It had a nice, low-key vibe with upbeat instrumental music that made it easy to relax and enjoy the food. Bartenders were friendly. We were seated in the upstairs area and tried some of their drinks. We got the Brandy Crusta which is their most popular drink and the Pouvez-Vous Poulet which is a seasonal cocktail. The Brandy Crusta has the cup dipped in sugar with a fairly strong cocktail within. Definitely get this when you are here as that is one of the best Brandy Crustas and is historical. The Pouvez-Vous Poulet is a duck fat washed rum cocktail and is also very delicious. You cannot really go wrong with any cocktail, but definitely order the Brandy Crusta for the true experience here. Though, honestly, while the cocktails are good, it was not as memorable as the other Top 50 Best Bars in the World that I have been to, but I won't dock a star off because of this, since the cocktails and overall experience otherwise were fantastic. Service is good but can be a bit slow, but it is an acceptable tradeoff for a more quiet ambience compared to downstairs.
