Showed up at noon on a Saturday for a quick bite. Only offered cheese or pepperoni (by the slice) Pizza was surprisingly decent and larger than I expected. After our pizza we walked Burbon street a bit. On our way back, we returned for a frozen drink and beer. I opted for the Jungle Juice. It was very sweet but good on such a hot humid day. So we walked up and down Bourbon and ended up at this establishment. Mainly due to my friend saying that it was the only place that actually looked clean. I should have known something was off with nobody inside and the guy behind the counter was clearly not focused at all. My thing is that I hate tasting alcohol, so all these drinks cover up the flavor quite well which can be a TAD bit dangerous at the same time. Really though, it just adds to the fun! This was where I had my first drink in New Orleans therefore it will always hold a special place in my heart. Daiquiri Delight is the best place to visit during the day, since this area of Bourbon Street gets pretty crazy at night. For only a few bucks, you get a slushy-type beverage that is sure to keep you nice and cool on a warm day. My friend and I both went with the strawberry daiquiri and were pleasantly surprised. They use real strawberries here therefore it didn't taste like a lousy Jolly Rancher. The bartender was even nice enough to take a photo of us. He also mixed two flavors together for us to try and it tasted like a creamsicle. It's not the BEST place for drinks but it gets the job done when it's 82 and humid outside and you're about to walk 4 miles. read more

I stumbled upon this place of course like everybody does while walking on bourbon street. They had myriad of flavors of Daquiris. And they are nice enough to let you try how much ever you want. I tried a lot of flavors and ended up buying the mango. I have to say the flavors were different enough but my only complain is that it was a tad bit too sweet. I could definitely taste the alcohol but with a LOT of sugar! Personally I am not a big cocktail drinker but I know when I find a good one with a balance of all flavors to alcohol and this was not one. Moreover, the ambience is very pretty and the people are very nice. All this place offers is fun vibe walking down the bourbon street. Would I go again? I don't know...maybe if I am drunk enough! But surely it is a very NOLA specific place so I would probably go again with friends for the fun of it. read more

After about four hurricanes and a couple of hand grenades, I stumbled into this place, inhaled a couple of slices of pizza, ordered two more, and then spent the rest of the night wandering around Bourbon Street telling anyone who would listen how I just ate the best pizza of my life. Wondering which of Bourbon St.'s daiquiri shops is the best? Wonder no more. It's this one. I tried quite a few daiquiri shops during my summer in New Orleans, and Daiquiri Delite Shop is by far my favorite. I love the broad selection of flavors. (Piña Colada is the best!) Plus, their daiquiris are always the right consistency. (No melty daiquiris or too-icy hard-to-drink daiquiris here!) They are also pretty strong, but you'll never notice with all the sugar deliciousness masking the taste. $9.50 for a 20-oz., slightly more for a 32-oz. If you want a suggestion for what extra shot might taste best in your daiquiri of choice, ask your friendly bartender. They also have pizza here, but I have never eaten it. Stop by! read more

Pepperoni pizza slice was so good here I had to come twice. There are many pizza and daiquiri places on bourbon st but this is simply the best. Daiquiris are stronger and Breyer than most but the pizza is the star here. I would honestly give them a four out of five but I could not due to the service. We went in late at night it was maybe 20 minutes before closing (being in the service industry I know the feeling but you still have to wear a smile on your face and still be friendly to your patrons) we were Loosely greeted and of course being that we do not come here on a regular basis we did not know what flavors we wanted so we asked to try one each, we were given the samples but with a mediocre friendliness. No extra conversation, short answers to our questions, you know the drill. But outside of that I could say the Daiquiri was pretty okay. It did not taste like they had any special homemade flavorings going on just your typical artificial syrup mixed with alcohol. Also by them being on Bourbon Street they are on the expensive side. I believe I paid $23 for Just 2 20 ounce to-go cups. These prices are to be expected on Bourbon Street, just like any other touristy area. All in the experience! read more

I had a daquiri somewhere down the street and it was all harsh alcohol taste and strange Koolaid flavor on the back end that was just foul. Whereas Daiquiri Delight's offerings just kept creeping up on me and whacking me in the head with a faceful of Drunk! Staff was nice and I was in and out so quick that it was perfect for getting back out onto the street and enjoy the chaos of Mardis Gras! They also had tons of flavors of daquiris which you can mix-and-match-- like from those 7-11 slurpee machines. The concept was very cute. Service was also efficient and prompt. Last time we visited New Orleans we drunkenly stumbled into a pizza place late at night to fill the pizza sized hole in our stomachs. We couldn't remember where that place was this time around and thought this might have been it. We were wrong, this place is much better. I didn't expect the pizza here to be anything special at all, but it really was quite good. I had the pepperoni and once again, it filled that pizza sized hole nicely. Amongst our group of four we had all the pizza types on offer and all looked equally as tasty. I had a daiquiri here too, but I can't remember what flavour it was. I got the Cajun something, which is apparently the most popular flavor here. It wasn't until after I ordered that I realized this one is made with 4 different liquors (Bacardi 151, another dark rum, 190 grain, and something else), unlike all the other flavors which mostly only contain 1 type of liquor...no wonder it's the most popular. My small cup of frozen peach-colored beverage was quite tasty and made my face tingly after only half a cup so be careful...or not, depending on your purpose for wondering around on Bourbon Street I guess. read more

I got the cheese pizza which was pretty amazing and the baileys/kahlua type one and it was really good!
