The food is good, but it is a little oily and greasy. When I ordered online and picked up, there was no lunch buffet and even if there was, there would only be 6 options. The service was friendly when I picked up the food and the food was done in like 20 minutes. For 13 dollars, the mapo tofu was a steal, it was flavorful and had that nice numbing flavor. The kung pao chicken was nicely fried and coated with sauce. The fried rice was merely just alright, there are better places for fried rice. Inside is just the little corner shop that has always been there, seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking in the plaza. I've never had the actual Darda location, but this express location was good for what it was. Check them out!

Mapo Tofu: sooo greasy and no meat! It's supposed to have ground pork.

Very disappointed. We had hoped to love this place because it's close to home, but we will not be back. The tables and chairs are nice and comfortable... but the temperature inside was only 61 degrees. They turned up the heat, but it only went up to 62. It didn't help that the owner's child opened the door for fun, did cartwheels between the tables and argued loudly with his father. We then opted for takeout. We asked for everything mild spice (NOT no spice), except the Mapo Tofu we requested normal spicy. Hot n Sour Soup: pretty good. Not the best in the area, but enjoyable. Chicken in Plum Sauce: the sauce was overly sweet and didn't taste like plum. The chicken was coated (perhaps with cornstarch). Garlic Beef: blah. Not much flavor. Mixed assorted vegetables: very good Mapo Tofu: sooooo very greasy and NO meat! There's supposed to be ground pork. The flavor was just ok. See photo. Cucumber Salad: it was supposed to be mild spicy, but there were so many crushed peppers and pepper seeds, it was too spicy for my mom. See photo.

We ordered takeout from this spot and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! We got the Chicken Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Beef Noodle Soup, and Hot & Sour Soup--all cooked to perfection with great flavors. The food was prepared quickly, the cashier was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!

This neighborhood restaurant is convenient for take out orders. On my first visit at dinner time, service was nice and friendly. Food was prepared quickly. - Egg rolls were so good, crispy and not greasy. - Kung pao shrimp had a generous amount of shrimp and vegetables. Very fresh, savory and just right kick of spicy! Ordered a side of rice to go with it. Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Definitely will be back to try other items!

i am a frequent customer at the Darda Milpitas. This place is an express version. I ordered a Tsa Ma Mien. They don't have a choice of noodles. The soup is still good. I think the one in Milpitas is better. Also got chicken wonton soup, general tso chicken and green beans. The food is fine and service is one waitress take orders and serving. The ambiance is spartan.

I really enjoyed my visit to Darda. I was in a hurry to grab dinner. I put in a large order and it came out quickly. The Mongolian beef was very good. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing flavors and portions well known by Darda. This little spin-off from the Milpitas location is a gem and we love to support small businesses. The service was fast and friendly, the food had delicious flavors, especially the hot and sour soup. Definitely our go-to spot for halal Chinese food

Great food great value. It is casual but the food is really good. They use halal meat and have free side orders.

Highly recommended! Location: next to Smart&Final on Mary near Zanotto and Walgreens. * Fantastic food like Darda in Milpitas * Fast, convenient * Good Chinese take out * Wish they had the big sesame bread

Food was over-sauced and mushy. We ordered six items and only two tasted remotely decent.

Looks like they specialize in cold dishes as well. Ordered via QR code on table and started off with the beef roll. The wrap is on the thicker side but soft and had tasty beef and cilantro inside. The honey walnut shrimp was one of the crispier ones I've had. The sauce has a slight citrus flavor which is different from the traditional ones. A few hours after it was made and it was still crispy! The spices satay beef hotpot came loaded with beef too and bottom. Had a nice satay flavor and was even better with rice. The fish cakes tasted fresh too. Would definitely come back here. Large portions and shareable here.

The combination of meat, veggies and the exterior crispy pancake created such an outstanding tasting effect. The lamb dish had one of the most tender meats I've tasted. The brown sugar sticky rice cake was soft inside and hard outside; with just the right amount of sweetness. Service was ok. They should've been kinder and more grateful. I liked how they have a sign posted on window saying that gratuity is at free will and you don't pay for the wrong dish they send to you. It showed accountability. That's why we keep coming back, for now.

We knew to go early, since they don't take reservations and we often see lines outside. We arrived at 10:30am and the front manager said if we can be done my 12:30, that they had a table for us. Party of 12, since we got there early, we agreed. The side room had the biggest round table for us. They ask you what kind of tea you want, we like chrysanthemum tea. You order the items on the paper menu and it comes to your table. So we got going on the orders and TBH, we must be hungry, because we did a lot of orders (we had plenty of left overs). Tried some favorites and a few new items that we thought were unique to their restaurant. My dad has to order crispy noodle and chow fun, and we also ordered chicken fried rice. The service was prompt and attentive, with enough servers to take care of the side room. Since it was the "sun room", the sun was shining through the windows and it was bright. Review from my parents: it was just meh, they prefer the other place near our house. I think the food is good, but probably won't come back again with a big group of us, since they don't have many big round tables. And personally, I prefer the whole experience of the ladies coming around with their carts. Perhaps their dinner menu is also worth trying. Bonus for us is that we can literally walk to this restaurant. Parking could be an issue if you come later.

At 10:50, there was a huge crowd of people waiting to be seated, 30+ and 20+ orders to go. We did not get our order until after 12:10. They forgot our bbq pork buns. We called and they will credit our cc. Fook kin rice was good. Salt & pepper pork was a little soggy. Dim sum was okay. All of it was not hot and fresh. It was still good because it did not taste frozen or have msg. We think this is one of the better dim sum restaurants in the area.

We sat in a private room and someone was attentive and got us our orders at a rapid speed. We did have someone in our party who spoke fluent Cantonese which helped a lot. My last two times here was for dim sum takeout orders, and I honestly do not recommend ordering takeout. Both times were mediocre. The most recent time, we ordered 5 standard dim sum items on our phone while we were outside the restaurant. We ended up waiting at least 40 minutes for our food to be ready. When we asked for an update around the 30 minute mark, the lady at the counter was so unhelpful. Just said it's not ready without actually checking and then she turned away and ignored me. When we finally got our food, we ate it within 10 minutes, and the food was already lukewarm/almost cold. It was not worth the wait. Note ordering online has a $1 convenience fee. You wait for your takeout bag to be available on the long table inside, and then you take it to the nearby counter and pay there. Utensils and napkins are not automatically included in your bag. If we decide to come back, it would only be for dine in service. Never again for take out.
