drove an hour to take my mom to dave's hot chicken today. got close to home and finally opened up our food to see a dirty workers glove inside our box of food. totally disgusted!!! called the restaurant many times with no answer. was too far away to turn back and get replaced food. tossed the whole meal away, so disappointing. the cleanliness of their establishment is obviously not prioritized. also wrote feedback on their website and hoping to at least get refunded of this $15 meal we didn't get to eat. do not eat here. read more

Employee Isabelle was very sweet & let us know her name and told us if we needed help with anything to let her know! She seemed to have a positive attitude towards all customers walking in and offered help to everyone. Employees that present themselves this way deserve to be recognized! I have been to three different locations and I can say that I had a better impression of this location than Fountain Valley. The cashier that assisted me was really nice and accommodating. I got two orders of their Dave's #1, which each consists of two tenders, fries, bread, pickles, and their sauce. First of all, their tenders are flavorful and their spice levels are on the milder side, so if you get a medium, it's as if you ordered a mild. It was nice because they allow you to choose a different spice level for each tender. Although the fries were in the box I like that they were kind of compartmentalized because it wouldn't be spicy so my nephews could have some. As for the pickles, I love that there is a lot of it because it's so good! The bread is like any other place serving hot chicken, just plain and there if you need to die down the spice of the chicken. They now put their sauce in a packet instead of the plastic dipping containers, I guess it's a bit more sanitary that way. read more

Guys, PLEASE avoid this location. I know that this place is the closest one we have (Fountain Valley would be next) but honestly I do not understand why this store is so different then all the rest. Service is horrid, slow, and they do not know how to problem solve or accommodate their guest. I went in today April 5th and it was EMPTY. Keep in mind that the people in front of me had a big order. You would think that they would work on the ONLY two orders they had which was the people ahead of me and mine. Again the place was empty. 15 minutes go by and I ask the girl, "Hey I'm aware that there's a bigger order ahead of me but if you're going to only work on theirs I might have to ask for a refund because I'm short on time." I wasn't rude I know how short staffed locations are, but she didn't even bother to check on my food she just automatically gave me my money. As if to say "please leave." This is the second time I give this place a try and honestly they aren't very efficient as other stores and for some reason they skimp out on the fries here a TON.
