I feel like a jerk reviewing a Del Taco, but this killed my night. It's sad and laughable, but still. I don't have one of these anywhere near me, aside from 20 minutes both ways. So, when I pulled over tonight and told my fiance there was one in front of me, we both reveled in the gluttony about to transpire. It's been almost a year....chicken soft tacos were making jt mouth water. I had a lot of extra work to do at home, so I was excited to devour these without grace. Yet....at home....I find a bean and cheese burrito. I checked the two bags I received....considering the man had a burrito and a taco, and my imaginary tacos were hidden by fries and sauces, I thought nothing of it. It's silly, but it killed my night. My work would have been done, and I'd be stiffed full of regret on the couch. Now I'm cooking. It's funny how the smallest things can wreck a day....it all adds up. I'm not being petty. I'm tired, hungry, and now losing sleep. And, as noted, there isn't a Del Taco within 10 miles. So, the craving now lingers.... read more

We really like the fact that this location serves breakfast all day. Our go to is the egg and cheese burrito with beans added in. Never have an issue when ordering in store but if you order in drive through beware. Last time when I asked for the beans added, got home to find out they had added beef. Not the first time mix up in drive through. Check your order before leaving property. read more

I had a late lunch here and I ordered ahead on the app. The food was prepared after I let one of the employees know I had a mobile order to be picked up. I dined in and had a comfortable experience as the area was clean. The Epic Crispy Chicken & Guac Burrito was good and had the right amount of crunch. I can remember that before the pandemic this restaurant chain was pleasant. I'll make it quick by saying that I became very ill after eating at this Del taco. Within 45 minutes after eating a burrito and and tostada I became very sick to my stomach at work. It took about 4 days of recovery to over come what ever food born illness they had served me. It was a very painful experience. As you could probably guess, I won't be visiting this establishment ever again. read more

The people in the back were disgusting and eating food while prepping other people's orders. The only person who was actually working was Roberto Maya. The front cashier gentleman. He was very friendly and hard working man. While the rest of the team was lazy AF. I don't get how cooks in the back have time to eat food and laugh where the entire lobby can clearly hear their conversations. Have to admit the lobby was super clean. Again, it was because Roberto would run and take orders and go back to lobby and finish sweeping and cleaning the tables. I think the only reason I would come back is to see Roberto keep his job. I love del taco, and I hate to be THAT person but the employees are beyond rude. Went through the drive thru and they forgot two of my tacos. I proceeded to call them and the lady I spoke to gave me attitude immediately. She initially refused to remake my order but then told me I had to bring back what I received in order for her to remake it all. She was clearly annoyed when it wasn't even my fault. Ha, I used too like this location, out of the 3 closest locations they seamed the most competent,went on the del taco app and this location charges at least .10 on each item more than the other locations. This location was a sour spot for getting the order wrong. Now only one manager lady gets the orders wrong. She blames the customer and her coworkers she only helps the window during what must be a break for the other employees. They all do a great job. Tried the carne asada express burrito with cilantro lime white rice, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Meat was enough but super salty, not flavorful (like old meat) and the rice was salty too. Went through the drive through and ordered the chicken guac crunchtada. The guy repeats the order and says so chicken guac tostada. Anything else? I respond no the crunchtada. And he rudely responds it's the same thing . You want a chicken guac tostada anything else? It's listed as a crunchtada on the menu so how would i know they refer to it as a tostada? I had forgotten I ordered a new bank card because this morning I woke up to some fraudulent activity... so I had tried to insert my card multiple times knowing I had money In my account. The manager Carmen has the worst attitude she has horrible work ethic I don't know what crawled up her a&& and died but she snapped at me. So I told her to adjust her attitude and advised her that I ordered a drink that was watered down and she refused to give me a refund when all I wanted her was to either give me a discount for todays order. Mind you she gave me an attitude the day before because I asked for extra limes for my Birria Ramen which I didn't know was inside the actual soup. Who does that? I asked for three spicy hot sauce and eight catch up. I pulled into a parking spot and started to eat to find out that the burrito did in fact have cheese and the french fries were not even close to being well done and I got 29 packages of ketchup and 10 packages of hot sauce. I placed an order for 2 double del cheeseburgers then upgraded, adding bacon at the window. The short armed lazy individual correctly upgraded the price, but when I got home, there was no bacon on our burgers. I called and asked for the manager, and a lady said she was the manager, but that was a lie. She told me the manager said that he made them correctly and offered to exchange them if I would bring them back in. I am a caretaker for 12 hours a day, and can't leave. I usually go to Del Taco once/twice a year. Even though it's not authentic, it satisfies the cravings sometimes. I usually get the hard shell, but I will occasionally swap out for the soft chicken tacos. It was my first time at this location a couple of weeks back, I got the street taco dinner plate, and the s.o. got the soft chicken tacos with fries and a drink. The street tacos have an interesting tangy and spicy sauce underneath all the meat, which makes me not want to get it again. I got the white sauce on the side (which cost extra). I had a bite of the chicken soft tacos, and it tasted good. however, the s.o. got the runs from eating it. read more

I eat at Del Taco constantly... all over OC, but just moved near this location recently and I have to say that compared to every other DT I've ever been to, MAN to these guys have their act together! Every time I go to this location the service is super-fast and the order is correct. They also actually "listen" to your answer when they ask if you want sauce or not... don't just ignore you when you say "no" then fill your bag with like 20 packets of Scorcho like the other locations, haha. Last time I was worried because I went during the lunch hour and there were about 6 cars ahead of me and I thought, "Great... this is gonna take a year!" But they had a guy out front taking orders, and the kitchen was ON it... and it only took a couple of minutes... I was blown away! NICE JOB guys, keep it up! :) read more
