Great pizzas, very friendly staff and have a good atmosphere to watch the fifa game .

I always prefer NY style pizza. I've had pizza in NYC and these were close. They have a nice selection of slices which they reheat in the oven. They brush the crust afterwards with garlic butter(?) which made the crust soft. The pizza was good and I'll have to try the other choices next time.

Stopped in on a whim and was very impressed! The decor is fun and welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Huge slices and delicious flavor! I had the Margherita slice and my friend had the Super DeLeo Bros and we both enjoyed the food! I personally really liked the crust as well!

Always happy to try a new pizza place. This place is larger than it looks from the outside, with plenty of seating. Interesting, though, for a relatively new place, many of the chairs had rips in the seat. Don't know if that's supposed to be part of the charm. For a Saturday night, the place was empty. It could have been a bit tidier. Staff was pleasant. There was a good assortment of pizzas to choose from to get a couple of slices, but my companion wanted 4 pieces so it was more cost effective to get a whole pie. We opted for a half and half (plain cheese and pepperoni). The pizza crust was very doughy, especially the crust. My companion liked it; I prefer a thinner, crispier crust. Even reheating it in the toaster oven didn't help much. The pepperoni was plentiful and the tomato sauce was fresh tasting. Cheese was an average quality.

Am sad I have to write this because I actually love the Pizza at Deleo's. I had a very disappointing experience at Deleo Pizza due to the customer service I received from one of the staff members, Claudia. I ordered two slices of pizza, but Jacob (another employee) mistakenly charged me for a third slice. Jacob immediately acknowledged the error and kindly asked Claudia to process the refund. She was trying to make it look as though we were making things up. We had all the receipts. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Claudia responded with an attitude that felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. What should have been a simple and quick correction turned into an uncomfortable interaction. The issue wasn't the mistake it was how it was handled afterward. Good customer service is about accountability and respect, and unfortunately that was missing in this moment. I appreciate Jacob owning the error, but the overall experience left a negative impression. I hope the management addresses how situations like this are handled going forward so customers feel respected and valued.

Came by recently with some co-workers for lunch. It's located in Pioneer Square at Occidental Park. Cool looking place, spacious, 80s pop culture theme decorated, which I enjoyed too! Showed up around noon, line was long, waited about 15 mins or so until we got to order. Saw a few dudes leave the line as they couldn't wait much longer. Takes about another 5-7 mins after they ring you up for them to lightly warm up your slice and get your order together. Each of us got a slice each, and I think a side salad was in there somewhere. I got the sausage & mushroom, thin NY style slice, good sized, it was fine, just ok, nothing really that wowed me, pretty standard slice, everyone seemed satisfied. Prices are about $7 for a slice. They do have some other options like Stromboli, garlic knots, cheese bread and a few side salads. Good amount of tables, high tops, corner spots, a back room with arcade games, it was easy for us to find a spot. A center self-serve area to get your drinks, plates, forks etc. If you in the area for work, game etc, here's a pizza slice option in Pioneer Square.

I've come by a couple times to get a quick slice on my lunch break. I've gotten their margherita. They use ricotta on their margherita instead of stracciatella or mozzarella which is interesting. I love ricotta, but I think that it makes for too dry of a slice. Stracciatella is almost essential for an authentic margherita. When I checked out here, the iPad at the counter prompted me to tip, so I assumed it went to the staff helping the customers. One of the employees casually mentioned while I was at DeLeo's that they don't actually receive any of those tips. That really bothered me. As a customer, it feels deceptive to be asked to tip when the people doing most of the work don't benefit. It does make me curious where the tips are going. I want tip money to go to the staff providing the service, not to management or the owners. Because of this lack of transparency, I will not be returning.

Stumbled upon DeLeo Bros Pizza after taking light rail to Pioneer Square to get ice cream. They've been open for 8 days and are located in the in former spot of MOD Pizza. The sausage pepperoni slice and garlic knots were heated up and both were delish! Service was friendly and prompt. There's seating indoors and outdoors. They're serving slices for now and will soon offer pasta and sandwiches.

Great spot to get a slice after the game wow, the traffic dies down. Lots of good choices and it definitely hit the spot.

Great slices and knots - tasty and fresh. Friendly counter service- beer and wine available. Vegetarian options. Large, modern high ceiling dining area is new and clean.

The line was out the door but it didn't take long to order our slices. The choices left were a bit underwhelming. Overall a good slice just a basic pepperoni and mushroom, very true to NY slices.

tried this new pioneer square spot! it's big and spacious, lots of tables and booths, could definitely accomodate large parties too! there's even a few arcade games in the back. you can do grab and go slices or full pies. they have a few sides and fountain drinks. we came around opening and pizzas were just coming out of the oven, so it was still warm and fresh. the slices are decent sized but the prices are a little steep, coming in at over $6 per slice and maybe more if you want one with more toppings. the crust is on the thinner side, the pizza is good but overall just pretty standard.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

Karin has taken care of us countless times, whether it's a quiet Monday or an absolutely packed one due to the events at the town hall across the street, and they have always been warm, patient, and accommodating. I actually celebrated my birthday here because it's one of my favorite spots. I am part of the large group that one of the recent negative reviews is referring to. It happened immediately after the USA FIFA match, and the restaurant was the busiest I've ever seen it. Despite that, Karin still went out of their way to accommodate our requests that normally wouldn't be possible due to the rush, including trying to help with separate tabs when they'd already explained that large groups would likely need to stay on one check. As for things like grabbing water, silverware, plates, or chili flakes...our table had already gotten those before a majority of the group arrived. It's a casual pizzeria, on one of their busiest days ever. Setting and cleaning up the table (especially when seated outside) is not a problem for our group as we do it every week. Which is why it's upsetting that we opened our spot to someone that left such a nasty review. What stood out to me wasn't poor service. It's that despite how overwhelming it must have been to work post-FIFA, Karin was able to take orders, bartend, serve food, and close out checks with professionalism. Sometimes no matter how much effort someone puts in, not everyone leaves happy. The pizza is fantastic! I love showing up every week and trying what new slice they have come up with (in the year that I've been coming here there legit hasn't been a repeat). The atmosphere is great and the staff, especially Karin, have earned our loyalty over the past year. We'll absolutely continue coming back.

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). In a medium nonstick pan, large tong full of wet noodles, one ladle of white sauce, toss them together. Boiled chicken pieces, BOILED chicken tossed into the pan. No seasoning or shredded cheese, or Italian seasoning. Served in a plastic to go container that cost 1.85 extra bc it was to go since they wouldn't allow us to sit w outside food. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I got a slice of Italian supreme, which has everything. Now looking back though I wish I had gotten one of their Turkish dishes as I would have liked to try their lahmacun and read another Yelpers review and this place is supposed to have the best Turkish lahmacun in the US. Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
