Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Truffle Naan, Classic Samosa (3 pcs), Onion Pakoras
    Angelica T.

Everything was delish! We got chicken tikka masala, garlic truffle naan, onion pakoras and classic samosa. More than enough for us 2. The tikka masala was very flavourful. The onion pakoras were my personal fave, loveee the saffron taste on the inside. Restaurant had a nice, clean and modern vibe to it with good ambiance. Mango lassi was yummy too. All the food had great presentation. This will be our new spot for indian food!!

Lunch special: chicken tikka masala and butter chicken

Didn't know until we walked in that it was awarded third place for Alhambra's best date restaurants in 2025. Friend picked this place for lunch and it turned out to be the perfect friend date spot :) We both ordered the lunch special - she got the chicken tikka masala while I got butter chicken. It came with a small salad, a bed of rice, soda, and garlic naan for an extra $2. I loved the flavors and liked how it wasn't overly heavy or greasy. Service was attentive and they checked on us multiple times during our yap sesh, making sure our cups were constantly topped off. We must've stayed so long they got restless because they offered us a sample of their delicious gulab jamun with ice cream. Took leftovers home and my family devoured everything. I don't have indian food often but might be exploring it a bit more now that there is a good indian spot nearby!

Rose Lassi ($6). Not bad, but my first impresesion was the Mango Lassi was better.

The restaurant's name "might" not have been the best option to go with, but the quality of the food here is fantastic. I found the service to be satisfactory - for the most part, we were left alone except when we signaled the staff for our needs. The dining are and restroom were acceptably clean. Free parking is available in the public multi-story structure on the same block.

Yummy indian food located on Main Street! Came here with a group of friends! We got a table right away. I ordered the chicken saag (spinach sauce) and my husband got the paneer tikka masala! For the table we shared panipuri, garlic naan, and saffron rice. It was my first time having panipuri and it was delicious! I personally liked the red sauce more than the green sauce. The green sauce was a bit too sour for me. The chicken saag was delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy. I also really liked the paneer tikka masala. The paneer did not have a rubbery texture which sometimes it does at other restaurants and the tikka masala was so flavorful. I would get the paneer tikka masala again! The garlic naan came with a pretty large portion. It took a while for the food to come out.l from when we first placed our order. Overall the food was delicious.

My friend and I came here for lunch. They have a lunch special starting at $16. It includes a choice of protein, basmati rice, naan and a soda. We both had the chicken tikka masala. It was good (although I think it could have more cream in the sauce.). Nevertheless it was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was nice and clean. I would be coming back soon to try other dishes.

Lamb Vindaloo (spicy), Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy), Garlic Naan, Basmati Rice

Oh, Delhi Belly, you've been on my list for YEARS - every time I walk by Main St, to be precise, which is easily over a dozen times a year. I finally stopped by with a friend, and we enjoyed their garlic naan, basmati rice, lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala - both spicy. Our server asked us how spicy; of course, we went for spicy. Now, he didn't hold back... he double-checked just to make sure. This would be a 7-8 out of 10. But we can handle spice, no problem! Meanwhile, we enjoyed the dimly lit, calm, and relaxing interior. There was a good number of decor, but it wasn't distracting. What's nice was on quiet weekday nights, there isn't much noise, and you can genuinely enjoy conversations. Once our entrees arrived, we agreed that they were remarkable. The meats? Tender. The base? Tasted tomato based, creamy, and flavorful. At first, we were worried about quantity, but if there's one thing that I've learned about Indian food... the tummy will be stuffed! A few bites later, wowee, that is SPICY! The bitter definitely came out, but after a few bites of sensory adaption, enjoying both entrees' sweetness was easier. The rice was shortly finished, and the naan? Gone in minutes. At the end of the meal, we ended up taking small amounts of leftovers, so there was definitely more than enough to satisfy the tummies.

Delhi Belly is situated on the Main Street in Alhambra. There's the parking structure close by that's free parking. Clean spot with a few TVs and an open kitchen concept to see through. Our server was nice but more relaxed and we needed to flag her down a handful of times. Food took a bit to come out even with being the only table there. Still, the food was delicious. Panipuri - pretty large and beautiful presentation! It was an exercise getting it all in one bite but the shot was the perfect amount to fit in the puff. The potato mixture was nicely spiced and overall the bite was really delicious with different flavors and textures. Signature butter chicken - my go-to and this one was tasty - very creamy, tender chicken (dark meat). We did ask for extra spicy and it came out mild is our only critique. Cream cheese chili naan - so savory and cheesy! We really liked this take on naan and the ratios of cream cheese and chili were perfect. Lamb dumplings briyani - this was probably why food took a minute but this dish is worth it. The lamb is baked with a naan covering and come out piping hot. Inside is a little treasure trove of rice and tender lamb. The bread itself doesn't have a ton of flavor but it was actually perfect dipping with the butter chicken. Overall a great experience and looking forward to coming back!

Quiet and empty on a Monday night, fast service, nice server, food is flavorful and standard, garlic naan with butter chicken is to die for!

I like the comfortable ambiance of this restaurant - my group and I chatted for a long time over dinner! Service was nice and answered our questions effectively. I do like how the curry dishes are garnished to be more distinguishable (flowers on the tikka masalas and the ginger on the vindaloo). It's a very smart choice! The tikka masalas are classic dishes that you can't go wrong with. I recommend the vindaloo to those who like spicy food. Unfortunately, my spice tolerance wasn't high enough to truly appreciate it, but my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed it! The mimosa felt like it had more champagne than orange juice in my opinion, and the sexy fries were okay. The house sauce and mint chutney were flavorful, but it's not a dish I would order every time. I do also wish that the food was less expensive, but it was a good dining experience nonetheless.

Lamb Dum Biryani; delicious and huge portion!
    Jennifer H.

The food flavors here are solid (though perhaps a bit heavy on the salt). We shared pani puri, chicken tikka masala, and lamb dum biryani. The pani puri was quite salty, particularly the onion chutney. The tamarind chutney was tasty. The lamb dum biryani was well balanced and flavorful. As mentioned in another review, the dum makes for great dipping in the tikka masala sauce. I also enjoyed the tikka masala; flavorful and nicely seasoned. It was great that they served raita on the side; it really helped to balance and mellow the other flavors. The portions were very generous for the price. Server was also friendly although food did take a while to come out (maybe 20 minutes). It's a nice date spot that can be casual or a little dressy depending on what you're feeling. All-in-all, I would come here again.

Love this place! Everything we ordered was amazing. Visited with my boyfriend and we got a good variety of food for $75 with tax and had tons of leftovers. My favorite dish was the chicken korma which was very creamy. We also got the non vegetarian tandoori sampler which was amazing for the price and very filling. The only thing I would skip on next time is the paneer pakoras but I think I just wasn't the biggest fan of the dish in general since I like dishes with meat more. As for the service, it was amazing! No complaints on anything honestly. Our server was super nice and checked up on us often. The indoor interior is beautiful and is perfect for date night or just eating with family.

    Beautiful interior decor

Really enjoyed having lunch here. We got the lamb tikka appetizer plate and chicken tikka masala lunch special. Some of the pieces of lamb were a little bit tough and dry, but the other pieces were nice and juicy and tender. Another part of the restaurant that I really appreciated was the interior decor. From the outside it looks just like any of the other restaurants on Main Street, but on the inside it's beautifully appointed with well thought out lighting and a very aesthetically pleasing theme. All in all, a great place for solid Indian cuisine.

The best Indian Food in the area never dissapoints. Service is amazing with servers giving their recommendations on what they would get based on my parties preferences and likings. The atmosphere is amazing and real chill. Good place to come at any time of the day to get a good meal and leave wanting to come back!

You would think the food would be piping hot since it's made fresh and required such a long wait...but no... Everything was lukewarm and the bread was cold. The salad consisted of lettuce and some marinated tomatoes that tasted sour. The hummus was very bland and the bread was thin, but soft. The Luhle (ground beef) was savory, but wasn't very juicy at all. The RICE, however, was very delicious. It was well seasoned and you can taste the different spices used to flavor it. After looking up a few nearby spots, this Mediterranean restaurant caught my eye, and I'm really glad I decided to stop in. There was one customer dining inside and several to-go orders waiting, which is usually a good sign. The dining area is fairly small, with mostly two-seat tables. If you're coming with a larger group, you'll probably need to push a few tables together. It feels better suited for couples, solo diners, or anyone looking for a quick lunch rather than a long sit-down meal. Judging by the steady flow of takeout orders, it also seems to have a strong to-go business. The young woman who took my order was pleasant, though not especially chatty. She quickly got back to helping prepare orders, and you could tell everyone was focused on keeping things moving. The food wasn't rushed, but honestly, I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes when it's being made fresh. Once my plate came out, I was impressed with the portion size. I ordered the chicken kabob plate with a Perrier, and my total came to about $20. Considering I had spent $25 earlier that morning on a breakfast that, in my opinion, wasn't nearly as satisfying, this lunch felt like a much better value. These days, quality food isn't cheap, but I'm happy to pay for a meal that's fresh, flavorful, and filling. The chicken was well-seasoned and juicy, and the plate came with a generous serving of rice, fresh salad, and creamy hummus. Not to mention good homeade style pita bread. Before I even finished eating, I called my mom to tell her I had found a new kabob spot that I think she'd really enjoy. That's usually the best compliment I can give a restaurant. If you're in the area and craving a solid Mediterranean meal with generous portions, fresh ingredients, and fair prices, this place is definitely worth stopping by. I'll certainly be back to work my way through more of the menu.

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.
