We were on our way out-of-town and only tried 2 things, so this review isn't terribly comprehensive. I don't even like sandwiches. You know why? Because they suck. Until now. My friend, who has been coming to Frisco since he was a child, talked about Deli Bellys a lot. So all of us in our group decided to eat here. The service is very friendly. There are daily specials. I got the ham and swiss combo. I kept it simple because I have gastritis. I really wanted to try the meatball sub. But anyway, the sandwich was really good. Solid deli meats. The pickle on the side is a nice touch. The guy making the sandwiches is really nice and so is the woman behind the cashier. Only downside is the cash only part. But it's fine. Pure Sandwich Excellence. We stopped here on a whim while passing through Frisco. What we discovered was a mom and pop sandwich shop with a mastery over the quintessential Italian Grinder. I can't speak to the other sandwiches on the menu, but if this one sandwich is any indication, Deli Bellys is a gem that's carrying on the tradition of true "sandwich artistry" that is a foundation of this great nation of ours. Best Reuben I have ever had. Very standard ingredients except for the dressing. It says 1000 island on the menu but this sauce is phenomenal. I can't remember the name of the sandwich I had but it had pastrami, corn beef, & sauerkraut on Rye. It was delicious and very close to what I would get in New York. The only difference that I noticed was that they layered the cheese and meat & bread so there is 3 slices of bread instead of two and two layers of meat and kraut. Yummy! read more

I had a very similar customer service experience I see others have had: two rude people behind the counter who made mistakes with my order and payment and then proceeded to try to make me feel to blame for them. We ate here with my sons after a morning of skiing. We wanted hotdogs and it is what we got. There isn't anything spectacular about it though but them again, for $2.75, what do you expect? The place is conveniently located, the staff were nice, the service was fast. They don't accept credit cards but it is nothing against them as they are a small business. One thing I suggest is that the employees could be a little bit neater in appearance (ie hairnet or cap or apron, and a hand sanitizer by the cashier's area). Food is served here after all so of you want it to be clean. Oh and maybe don't cough on your hand (and not wash/sanitize) when you also serve food. Overall, it is a decent place. read more

We did not have a good experience. Bread can make our break your sandwich experience and it broke mine. Pretty much ate an unwhich... took everything out and ate just the in side portion. How can you make a worse sub sandwich? I don't think it's possible... Bread was terrible, I had to eat just the insides without the bread. The tomato was one slice and put on top, very strange. Awesome sandwiches, although huge - you could easily share a regular tuna with someone else. Not very expensive. Only 4 stars b/c seating is really small - if you go during a lunch rush, you are much better off taking your sandwich over to the frisco historic park and sitting on a picnic bench. Excellent sandwiches - really large so you could split one. Very friendly owner runs the place. Right in the heart of Frisco so great to go for lunch before shopping. Can be busy but bring your food to the park across the street where there's picnic tables and historic buildings to tour. read more
