    Kimchee pancake
    Kathy M.

Small hole in the wall restaurant. Not the neatest or most organized restaurant but has decent tasting food. Looks like a lot of regulars come to the restaurant, mostly older Koreans. We ordered two soups & kimchee pancake. Soups were tasty & good. Kimchee pancake was mostly flour & too dense for my taste. We won't order the kimchee pancake again but will definitely get the soups again. The side dishes are good and generous. They have side dishes & other food for sale - on tables and in the refrigerators in the dining area. This makes the restaurant look messy & disorganized but I guess nobody complains about it. Many people came in & went directly to the prepared banchan & food section so those must be good too. They had a set menu for 2 people for $45 (with a fish stew main dish, side soup & small chives pancakes). We may try that next time. I would give this place 3 1/2 stars, above 3 stars but not quite a 4 star restaurant.

This place is literally a hole in the wall place that you would never even think about coming to try. It's in a very ghetto building next to a liquor store with a dirty run down parking lot. Delicious Table however is a hidden gem within the million Korean food choices in the Buena Park area. You know the place is legit when literally 90% of the patrons are senior Korean auntie/uncles. What do you come here for? Quite literally for the Korean raw crab! This is one of the few places that specialize in this dish and it is super fresh and tasty here! You are given plastic gloves, a metal bowl for your scraps along with all your banchans. The crab is slightly sweet and savory and most are filled with crab roe/eggs that you pair with spoon fulls of rice. OMG the best bite if you love seafood! Yes you do have a risk of food poisoning as the HUGE sign warns you, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. But we've visited a handful of times and never had any issues. The other delicious items here are the BBQ soy marinated pork ribs either spicy or non-spicy. The meat is like super tender galbi-tang style pork ribs that is perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. Yes they are catering to the elder crowd so most of the food is more blank and less salty. They literally give you a salt/pepper shaker to season yourself. The ox beef soup with mixed meat is also a great choice for a filler item. It comes with a variety of sliced beef and tendon, and vermicelli. The broth itself is literally straight bone broth with no seasoning. You again need to add your own salt as the auntie will remind you. They do offer a variety of banchan and side items togo on the table/fridges in the back too. The service is great here as this place is a family owned business. They literally have the whole family working in the front and back. The auntie will come help serve your soups for large parties or cut the meat or explain how to eat if you don't know how. Yes she speaks perfect english and Korean too. You just feel like it's a large family eating here as the vibes are super homie. We absolutely will be back again for all the different kinds of soups, noodles and bbq items.

Not the best place to get raw crab but that's because my standards are very high since my favourite raw crab place is Master Ha's up in Los Angeles which is hard to compete with! I'm dissappointed because they didn't have seaweed to eat it with. However, I loved their short rib soup very balance and flavourful and warning for the soul. Their sides are ok. The location is also in an industrial looking area.

Delicious soy sauce raw crabs and beef bone soup! Great services from both waitresses. Great prices! Surprisingly great food from a "hole in the wall" restaurant! The restaurant outside appearance is very run down and not even look like a normal Korean restaurant. We were very hesitant to go in after parked because not much cars at the parking lot at 1:30pm on Saturday. We decided to give it a try. Boy, so glad we did! Totally "never judge the book by its cover"!Awesome soy sauce raw crabs! Great portion and good price! The beef bone soup was good too. It is a family owned mom and pop restaurant. Service was great! We will go again!

The staff were friendly and the food was very delicious! They also had kimchi, pickled daikon, and other side dishes that one could order to go; which was great! I would recommend!

I've been here twice already and so far it had been consistently good! The exterior looks a little sketchy, but I promise inside the restaurant is very homey and authentic. We came here especially for the soy marinated crab and it did not disappoint! The portions are huge and we shared between four people. Lots of side dishes as well to enjoy ;) Raw marinated Crab: 10/10 The best marinated crab ever. A good amount of meat in every piece. If it is your first time eating soy marinated crab, make sure to eat it with the rice because it is slightly salty but pairs well with the rice. They also crack the legs so you can get all the meat in the legs. They also provide the head of the crab (which imo is the best part) L.A. Galbi: 7/10 The galbi was perfectly juicy but it had a lot of fat on some of the pieces making it a little less worth it for the price. I also like my galbi a little more charred, so that is my preference. Overall, service was super attentive and I love the variety of refillable side dishes!

One of the best kept spots for marinated crabs! Operated by a kind family. Was craving something savory one day and this place got recommended. 10/10 Would come back again :)

So happy to have found a place with authentic ganjang gejang (Korean soy marinated raw crab) in OC. The size of the crab is a little smaller compared to what you get in Ktown but the price here is only 1/3 of LA prices! The crabs are packed with flavor. It's a little fishy and definitely an acquired taste. In my fiancé's words: "it tastes like sea water". But that's the essence of ganjang gejang! For the perfect bite, I squeeze out the meat onto the rice and scoop up more marinade. You can also directly suck out the meat from the crab. My favorite part is when you mix rice into the roe-filled shells (second picture). We also got the spicy cold noodles (bibim naengmyun). This was SUPER flavorful. The sweet and spicy sauce was addicting and refreshing. It was a busy day but the staff was really nice and attentive. I'll definitely be back!

    간장게장(Soy Sauce Marinated Crab)

Weekday - Dinner Party of 4 Had a casual dinner with my family here and it was great. The restaurant seems a little short staffed for when there are a lot of customers, so show them a little patience if they seem busy. But the place feels cozy, typical ma's and pa's Korean restaurant kinda vibe. We had a few different entrées but the star of the show was Soy Sauce Marinated Raw Crab aka 간장게장. Many people seem to be coming here for that too. I had nothing to complain, the crabs tasted fresh and had plenty of meat inside. It was well marinated and the sauce wasn't too salty either. I think there's been a bit of a fad over these on the social media, my sister wanted to try it and she liked it very much. If you've never had it, I'd say the texture is a bit similar to "spicy tuna" you get at sushi or poke places, or sweet shrimp/amaebi but a bit more mushier, if you've tried those. If you want to "do it right", then you gotta take the upper shell of the crab, scoop some rice and the (soy) sauce into it, and mix it around like Bibimbap. I've also come here another time with a couple of my non-Korean friends, and they absolutely loved the food here. One of my all time favorite Korean food is 알탕(Fish Roe Soup/Stew). It has chunks of cooked Fish Roe and seafood and such. It's not fishy at all and if you like spicy soups, you'll love it. Maybe come here with a few people and order a few entrées and share it with everyone family style. FYI, anything that's like $30 something or $40 something is meant to be shared with the whole table. It's not an entrée for a single person. Traditionally Koreans eat a bowl of rice along with a bowl of soup and a ton of side dishes(aka Banchaan) and an entrée like that is something the whole table shares, so don't feel bad ordering one of those with maybe 1 or 2 more people and sharing it; think of it like ordering pizza for the whole table, but. you also got rolls(bread) as well. And if I'm correct, I don't think they charge for bowls of rice, so if you need more rice after finishing a bowl, try asking! Traditional Korean restaurants don't charge for rice; that'd be like charging people for rolls/bread at an American restaurant.

    Soy marinated pork ribs
    Jeffery H.

This was my first time having soy marinated raw crab and it was great! It is on the saltier side so if you aren't used to that it could hinder the experience. The sauce was great and complemented the crab well. The soy pork ribs weren't bad but the crabs were the star of the show. Service was good. Nothing to complain about on that end. It was small mom and pop place.

Do you still sell soy marinaded crabs? Are they fresh today?

Yes it's our best selling bread and butter item. Its not meant to be made on a daily basis as it required marindarting usullly min of 2 to 3 days. We sell out pretty quickly and make it every 2 to 3 days.

Is there an updated menu since the COVID-19 or is the menu I see in the photos from 2 years ago still current/valid?

Yes we have the updated menu in the photo section

Thought we had lucked out but honestly, everyone working here is super efficient and vigilant. Ordered the stir fried pork belly, corn cheese pancake, and rose tteokbokki. Corn pancake was HUGE like a large pizza. Very thin but super gooey, actually couldn't get a grip on it with the tongs because it was falling apart. Ended up having a corn cheese pancake salad but it was still great. Rose tteokbokki was pretty weak in terms of flavor, friends that I came with agreed that the flavoring wasn't as strong as it usually was, and they're regulars here! Pork belly dish deserves its own paragraph. I mean... holy. The perfect mix of salt on the juicy, fatty (and generous!) pork belly slices, the slightly sweet and sour kimchi, and soft, roasted garlic. If you're getting one thing on the menu, let it be this! Had a muscat iced drink to share for the table, we subbed out maekgeolli for milk for a nonalcoholic option. They also offered yogurt as a substitute! Very strong on the muscat flavor and so refreshing. Overall, we were in and out in about 30 minutes. I didn't even see them pick up or give back the credit card, that's how fast they move. Will be back!

This is one of my go to "sick dishes" as it's very comforting. Their Yuk Gae Jang is SO GOOD. It's definitely my favorite here. It's the perfect amount of spice. It's filled with meat, noodles, and veggies. The flavor of the broth itself is so yummy and when rice is added, one bowl can be stretched to three full meals. I had this dish last week and I actually can't stop thinking about it. Overall everything here has been delicious and the portions are very generous. The banchan includes 3 dishes: radish kimchi, kimchi, and mustard greens kimchi. All have fish sauce. Service 10/10 Servers are quick, efficient, and attentive.
