Harlan was our phenomenal server. He let us know there was a huge delay in the kitchen. We were fine with that as long as we got seated and got our coffee. He was excellent. Stopped in for lunch and had to wait awhile to be seated. Finally got seated and the waitress was nice and attentive. Ordered lunch- I had chicken fried steak with corn and mashed potatoes. Came in with a loud group of 30 at 11:00, but still all of the staff were very kind and engaging servers, that made us enjoy our visit even before the food got here. And when the food did get here, oh boy, it did not disappoint. I don't go to Dennys often but this was a 9/10. Would definitely recommend. read more

Wow, this place is a real mess. If I was the owner I would be stressed out. The food is what you would expect from a Denny's but the place was understaffed and in need of management. It was not organized and the staff was yelling across the entire restaurant. The cook seemed nice but the fact that I know this is a little strange as he was in and out of the kitchen. The two girls running the place were struggling . I would not or wont come back to this place. I don't know if I should feel bad for the staff of be angry at the experience. My order was a mess but they didn't seem to have time to deal with it, so it is what it was. I helped them and jumped up to pay my bill when one of the girls was taking another persons order... just to help us both out. We had breakfast before a hike at Sedona. I had a Lumberjack Slam and my wife had the Banana pancakes with bacon and eggs. First off we had to wait about 7 minutes before anyone came out to seat us. Afterwards we had to wait for about 10 minutes before our order was taken. The food came at a reasonable time. The food was ok, not great. But Denny's can be hit and miss. Our server Jennifer only came back once to check on us. I had to put my cup forward to get a refill for my coffee. When we went to pay I waited another 10 minutes for someone to come. And then she was chit chatting with coworkers and not paying attention. Jennifer also appeared to be a bit apprehensive with us. Ate at a camp Verde Dennys on 11/3/24. Terrible experience. Ordered coffee - NEVER got a refill. $3.89 for 6-7 oz of coffee? Took 35 min to get our food that sat on the kitchen shelf (no warming light) for a smidge over 5 min. Understandable if the place were busy but there were 5 staff, 3 cooks and 4 tables occupied. The food was not hot but okay flavor, presentation and cooking. I ordered a side salad as one of my sides. The salad was not delivered to the table until I was half way through my entree. Here in the US, salads precede the main entree. Our salt shaker was almost empty and the pepper shaker was empty. These items should be filled each shift or a minimum of once a day. The BIGGEST upset of the hour was a heavily tattooed waitress that stood at the hostess/check in counter and continuously yelled at a male employee some 40-50 ft away. The yelling was flirtatious and not work related. It was disturbing, out of place and rude behavior toward patrons spending their money for a meal. Not to worry - we will not be gracing this establishment again. It was $50 for a less than experience! read more

With Denny's being under new management, my son and I were going to give it another try after watching the high school's performance tonight. Sadly they've disappointed yet again. We showed up at 10:53 pm. They are supposed to be open until midnight, but refused us service because they said they actually close at 11 pm and need that hour to close. If you aren't open until midnight, don't advertise that you're open until midnight. Simple enough. read more

Well we are coming home from camping and stop here because we still have 2.5 hours to go to get home. I ordered breakfast snd my husband ordered hash brown and pancakes. The pancake the first set was so small and over done because they were so small the waitress suggested he just get another one so i thought ok and he enjoyed his hash brown and the pancake was under cook. The middle of the pancakes were so runny looked like cream fill. There was so much flies in here. We fought over our food with them. Eat somewhere else so disappointed wont be coming back. They are so short staff there was only one waitress and when she went on break the cook had to cover her, think thats why the food is undercook. read more

The worst Denny's I have been to. Service was horrible. They were out of a lot food. The McDonald's across the road would have been a better choice. Keep driving and find another establishment. Ordered pancakes, both of them had little black pieces from the flat top not being cleaned or wiped down properly after being cleaned. It's impossible to pick them off. They were also cold and the syrup was not Denny's. And I'm not a picky person. My husband had biscuits and gravy and it was cold with lumps and biscuits were not cooked all the way through. Which is difficult, but that's why there supposed to cut in half and put on the flat top to warm and slightly brown. What can you say when it's a simple meal. read more

We were the second party to walk out between 6:30 and 6.45 tonight. The first party left because the wait to be greeted was long. We stuck it out until someone came to seat us. When we requested different seating than what was being offered the server got a nasty attitude. She stomped off clutching the menus and made a remark suggesting that we seat ourselves. Before we could even sit she came over, put the menus on the table and said, "So what are we drinking?" At this pint we felt that she really didn't want our business so we left. read more
