I never thought in my lifetime that I would give a Denny's a great review but surprise, surprise I am. Middle of the night really craving blueberry pancakes and side of bacon so I headed to Denny's on Chandler Blvd. Never been there before. They seated me quickly. They took my order quickly. They delivered my tasty food quickly. Blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon wasn't on the menu. I didn't want the Blueberry pancake mega-meal that was on the menu. She gave me what I wanted and when I went to pay for it I was blown away!! $5! I never get out of breakfast restaurants for less than $10 usually. Thanks Denny's. I'll be stopping by your place next time instead of the trendy breakfast restaurants. read more

This was my Mother's Denny's. She loved to go here! She wasn't much for experimenting with wild exotic food like me. She always suggested either Floridino's or Denny's, or take out from Boston Market. We always had good meals here. One of my fav's was the shrimp skewers, which I got more than once. I think they were only $5.99 or $6.99 for 10 shrimp and two sides. It might have been from the senior menu. Whatever, it was always delicious and just the right amount of food, well cooked and well-flavored. The service was efficient and friendly also. Pretty consistent, which was probably what she liked. Hadn't been to this Denny's since I moved from Chandler five years ago. Close to the hospital for a lite bite after outpatient. We were seated fairly quickly but our server took quite a while to come see us. We ordered an All American Slam and coffee plus a Club Sandwich. No frills, just easy, American food. The bill came to $22.56. Really? $11 each? Service was very poor. The dude in the headband was full of 'I'll be right there' but we'd wait a while for him to return. He only had three other guests. My water never got refilled despite his two promises to fill it. Sorry to see this Denny's lose the homey feel. Prices were up (same everywhere tho) quality stayed level but with horrible service, you can't turn profits. read more

We dined here today and to say our experience was subpar is only the tip of the iceberg. First, the booth we were sat at was disgusting with what looked like dirt, grime, and other nastiness smeared all over the wall. The table and condiments were all sticky and grimy. It was hard to open the top of our hot sauce because it was so caked on with residue. Onto our food, I ordered a strawberry lemonade beverage and our server up charged us beyond what is listed on the menu for "Citrus Sauce" as far as I'm aware strawberries are not a citrus. Then when I asked for a refill she informed me I would need to pay another $4.50 if I wanted a simple strawberry lemonade. Which I believe was indicated on the menu as FREE REFILLS. Then the pancakes we ordered were completely disgusting and soggy borderline undercooked. Needless to say at this point what little was left of our appetite was completely gone and we left hungry and thirsty without finishing our meal but still paid full price for everything we ordered. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Dennys, a place we normally love and enjoy. I hope changes are made so we can return to this location and enjoy ourselves. read more

It's Easter and not much is open. So we went to dennys for burgers with a side salad. The burgers are really good for the money. About $11 for a bacon or mushroom burger with a side salad. The meat is fresh and tasty. We ate it in no time. The side salad was huge but I'm not such a fan of icebueg lettuce. The service was fast. This is a great Denny's. read more

I chose this location because they had slightly more stars than the others. I called for takeout after 2 am . Ryannen answered w such good vibes & energy! Every establishment needs this type of employee enthusiasm!! (AT ALL TIMES) It was still there when I arrived. Life and work and everyday hum drum can be a bummer and drag everyone down ESPECIALLY late nights . So this is strictly on the good vibes of this place lol . I come in very late on weekends with my friends. Tall, African American lady with a head wrap is very greeting. She sat us, got our drinks introduced our server. Came back and asked if we've been helped. We had not. She took our order without writing anything down. I have complicated orders and have gotten it wrong a time or two. Everything was perfect! Unsure as to why our server didn't take our order as it was a Friday night and not busy say the least, but having her come to us made up for lack of speed with waitresses you had working. Seemed to be both new waitresses as this is our local Denny's. I noticed over hearing management coach her team with positivity on being aware of the tables you gain in your section. I came to this location last about 5 months ago, service was great, but management was horrible at night. Denny's out did themselves with this one! Thank you! read more

I want to give a huge about out to an absolutely amazing server. His name is Joshua. And last Thursday, June 1st. We stopped in for dinner. Now when we arrived it wasn't busy at all. However, within no time the diner became extremely busy. Joshua was the only server available. Truly, he was overwhelmed. But he was doing a 5 star job. He handled our table of 4 in addition to the other tables that had multiple patrons. He was absolutely AWESOME. When we were finished with our meal and went to the register to pay we found out that the additional server was running late. So there was only the manager and Joshua. 5 stars to Joshua and your perfect service. read more

I can not express enough how disappointed I am with Denny's. I assume all of the locations are just like this one. But me and my daughter went to the Denny's on Chandler Blvd and Dobson. Since their online bios claim that they are open for dine in, and the fact that Masks are no longer required in Arizona. I thought they would be freedom friendly. I could not have been more wrong. The benches in the waiting area were upside down, the dining room was mostly vacant. We placed our name on the waiting list and stood in the lobby. I noticed that most booths were empty, the counter was not being used for customers, it was being used for storage. After a couple minutes the woman who placed us on the waiting list, cleared out the lobby. She was very rude and yelled "Excuse me, you have to leave, you can wait in your car. We will call you when we are ready for you". Instead of arguing, we just walked out. A family who were also waiting for a table objected and stated that it was hot outside and they did not want to wait outside. We went next door to Hungry Monk, we were seated right away, they were obviously completely open for business. We had a great lunch together. As we were paying our bill, Denny's called to let us know that we could come inside now. I told them no thanks we were enjoying our freedom. read more

The front the the restaurant is mass chaos on the weekend. You have customer who want to get a table and other customers who are trying to pay and go home. The wait to just get you name on the wait list is too long. The servers are friendly but the over all flow of the restaurant needs help. read more

Food is average, service is almost always terrible. They never come back to check up on you and they never answer their phone.

I had a postmate delivery driver that never delivered my food, and I ordered twice more and postmates cancelled my order both times. I called the manager and he said he'd have my order waiting for pickup and they could not have been more kind, especially during this harsh time. Dissatisfied with the customer service, I ordered a curbside pick up order, had to call twice to even reach someone. I understand they're busy, I work customer service. I told her I was here for my order and she said "We're really busy, can you just wait a little longer?" I would go in and grab my order but I had my dog with me and can't leave him in a 100 degree car for who knows how long. It's as simple as taking one minute to run me my order. Dennys- probably shouldn't offer curbside pick up on your website if your employees don't actually want to do that. read more

Ordered an avocado and lemon, received more lemons then the cados. Paid for whole avocado, did not receive whole avocado. 4/7 would not recommend. However, the coffee was bomb and she made it fresh for me, and boy were those green machines were fresh. read more

I am very dissatisfied with the service we received at lunch today. Our waiter was rather sharp telling us he could count when we told him there would be seven in all. Then he said we had purposely asked for the wrong thing so we could have more sour cream That was only two things out of several and I feel it was uncalled for. Quick and great service. After having to cancel my breakfast order at a different restaurant, this place was amazing.

First of all, who would have thought a Denny's burger would actually be good? I liked it more than In N' Out, Culvers, and the other cheaper fast food places. I think instead of ordering a burger through those places when I have the craving, I'm just going to call Dennys in advance and pick it up. The Manager is great, there was a misunderstanding with how I wanted my bacon, I wanted it crispy and it wasn't. I had ordered this as delivery. The Manager PERSONALLY went out of his way to replace the order for us and drove to our home. I don't know what his name is, I didn't catch that. Either way, he had great customer service and definitely went far out of his way to correct the issue. Denny's has definitely improved over the years and I will be coming here for more than just breakfast now. read more

My girlfriend and I were a little overly excited to have Denny's as we were craving a mix of sweet and savory of breakfast and dinner. Anyway, we came here and just had the best service ever possible. We had Christina who seemed like she was possibly the shift lead or manager. Either way, she was so nice, professional and helpful. She was handling everyone with ease and kindness. She had a sense of urgency and care for all the diners which is awesome.
