I stopped for some food. Well first I was told they no longer have the everyday value slam was no longer a promotion and was showed an option almost the same but $10 more expensive. I got that for my mom because she can't eat much due to a stomach surgery. Well I go to pay when I went to check on my order that still was not ready 30 minutes later. The everyday value slam was actually still available. So I asked for a discount and was initially told that was now possible. I asked for a manager who then gave me a $4 discount. Then I was given a bag that should have been my order. I got back to my car and started going through it and it was not even close to my order. So I brought it back in and was given another bag. Which was most of my order but still had to go back in for missing items AGAIN. I watched him hand the bag I previously gave back to the person asking for the steak and crepes. I TOUCHED THE FOOD. I have only been to Denny's a handful of times in my life. I was in town for a wedding and this Dennys was located next to the hotel, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered breakfast on the app and the order was ready when I arrived. The man packing the order "double checked" his order before handing it out. It was my mistake to not have checked myself. I was missing $5 worth of paid items: a side of bacon and two additional dipping sauces. It isn't a huge deal when these sauces are free of charge. But when I'm paying for something I'd like to receive it. The same man who bagged the order answered the phone when I called. The restaurant could only offer me the missed items. No refund to the card I paid with. I explained that we are only in town for a short time, have finished our breakfast, and no longer require a side of sour cream, hot sauce, and bacon. He was still unable to refund my money for the items I did not receive. This is terrible business. I have lost the $5 in items Dennys never gave me as well as the $5 tip to the person hired to ensure my order goes out correctly. I will not be eating at Dennys again. what was i thinking?!?!? oh i wasn't! in the backseat on the way home from a night of way too much fun with the girls....we were in a state of mind that we thought we were 21 again and somehow ended up at Denney's, by the track. why? who knows! 4 girls...one ordered chicken fried steak...anything deep fried and salty can't be bad! i took a bite and it was the winner of the night... two girls had pancakes....i took a bite...again...not bad... i ordered a turkey sandwich with a salad on the side (sounds like a smart choice...right?) i need to learn to be one of those girls who change the order ...nothing wrong with my salad...lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes ...dressing on the side ...then the sandwich...ugh! it was disgusting...i did see the turkey in there and some avocado..and it had nice and crispy bread...but it was slathered in a cheesy, creamy goop...did not do it for me! eww...boxed it up and thought my kids would eat it this morning...they took a bite and spit it out! ha! what does that say? service was not so good...granted the lady was there on her own (one chef, one server/cashier!)...she started taking our order then ran away after one order! she came back and got frustrated that we didn't quickly belt out our order...whatever.. food eventually came, she even gave me water! which was desperately needed at this point. when we were ready to pay we gave her out money as soon as she brought the check, but she said it would be a while before she could ring us up! ...we waited and waited...needed change. still no...it was nearing 4 am and i wanted to go and my friends were unhappy.... to avoid any more issues...i gave her as close to what we owed her and we departed.. will figure out the money between us later... again...while the server was quite the Witch (replace that W with a B)....i can kinda understand why she's frustrated doing this on her own with no help...but to play devils advocate... if we are going to raise minimum wage to such a ridiculous rate...maybe those businesses can't afford to pay for more employees...and maybe it's a good idea for those earning the money to start busting their butts more ...right? read more

We waited 45 min. to get a table, there were tables avalible, and the waitress was always telling us, those are reserved, on the other hand, after we finished, nobady was at those tables!!! We waited another, 15 min. for our server to come, then we ordered, our drinks came, quickly, we were sitting next to the drinks, and then we waited over an hour for our food. Our server kept saying, the chefs are making, it, and we saw the severs and chefts laughing, and talking. Our food finnaly came. It was cold, like it had been sitting on the counter, and we ate, payed, left, without getting a "sorry for the wait". I will never be coming here again, and are NOT recomending it. read more

I was there at 6 a.m. Sunday morning eating breakfast at the bar and reading the newspaper. The waitress helping me was amazing. Super attentive, and always on top of everything. When she saw me scraping the butter off my pancakes, she volunteered to take it in the back and get it off the pancakes. She was quick with refills. And, a terrific and friendly attitude. My one problem was this. While sipping me drink (before the food arrived), I heard somebody making weird sounds behind me. Clearing their throat, and just overall disgusting mouth/nose sounds. I finally turned around to look, and it was a homeless guy. The nice waitress brought him a coffee and called him by name. She even touched his face and beard, while saying something to him. I thought it was sweet until...a few minutes later, that same hand is carrying my plate of food!!!! I'm guessing she didn't wash it between touching his face and touching my plate. And imagine my surprise when later the guy came back (while I was eating), and she asked him if he needed more coffee or if he wanted eggs. He said no, mumbled something, and left. Now, on one hand, it's nice that they're being nice to homeless people. On the other hand, I don't want to sit at the counter hearing these sounds, or having the same hand that's touching their beards, touching my plate. read more

Food was cold, service was slow. The place wasn't overly crowded yet they managed to serve a skillet cold when its supposed to be hot, told manager and all he did was nuke it. Slow service, as others have pointed out. It took about 20 mins after the hostess sat us down for the server to take our order and only after we asked another server to take our order. Our server told us that she though that our table was being serviced by someone else . Server was apologetic about the delay and was fine the rest of the time, except that I had to ask for more coffee and for the syrup. Not the best Denny's that I've been to. We never go to this Denny's anymore. I just got home from the hospital and ordered a breakfast by phone. My husband went to pick it up and a man named Chris asked him what was the order. My husband wasn't sure what I had ordered, but he knew that I had left my name. Chris mocked him and said "I can't give you a breakfast if you don't know what it is. " My husband asked for the manager. Chris said his manager's name is Chris. He then said, "Make my day and complain about me". Well, that's what we are doing. The waitress JESSICA was extremely rude about just asking for straws and a fork being a smart as when I asked for some more water sighing with exhaustion my mate asked for some powder sugar then went on to pour an extreme amount that no one in there right mind would eat . Started okay. Angel was our server then all of a sudden a big party came in and we never saw him after our food came. We attempted to get the attention of any employee that walked by for refills. Took 20 minutes to get the attention of the manager while he was seating another guest. He came and only refilled our coke, when he returned with the coke we said we also need a refill on the water. If he would of given us a minute of his time he would of known that or he could of asked. Well we didn't receive the refill on the water. He came to seat another person and we again asked him for the water refill. He stormed off saying he had asked someone to do it before. He gave us the water and we sat there trying to get the attention of anyone to get to go boxes and the check. Meanwhile this server named Daniel was being sat 5 times with the surrounding tables. He seemed to attend to his tables well and they all seemed pleased. He finally got us the boxes. The staff apologized and said our server was busy. The manager failed to reassign another server. Other than the cook, I only see one employee running the entire restaurant (3:45pm during the week). And she has ZERO sense of urgency. ZERO. She took a good 3 minutes w/ONE customer. What a delightful place to have breakfast. We are staying close by and walked over, upon entering the magic started. Robin was on the register helping another guest, but said she would be right with us. Once at the table the service was on, coffee, orange juice and a warm smile. The Manager came around to make sure we were being well taken care of, a nice touch. As we waited for our food we watched as she welcomed other guests by their first names and wished some Happy Birthday. The food came out, hot and ready with more refills on the drinks with out asking. When we got ready to leave she even asked if we wanted coffee to go.
