Dear owner, this is the first Denny's our family prefers, the food, the very nice waitresses/waiters are all awesome! Our only unfortunate experience has only been with the assistant manager who works Saturday mornings. We honestly dread having him as our waiter. He is not very polite and to be honest kind of gross. He is constantly picking up his pants and handling food! If it were just once, we get it. It's busy and everyone is running around. But not this guy. In the hour we were there, he did it 5-6 time in front of us. Also, when customers walk in, he points and says, "sit over there okay". I came by late at night yesterday. I come every here and there because the customer service is always great and the food is prepped fresh and warm. I was helped out by David. He was awesome! He gave us recommendations and was so welcoming! He came to check on us often and refilled my tables drinks without us having to say a thing it was great! I usually do not go to Denny's to eat breakfast, but they offered my mom a free grand slam for her birthday, so we decided to go here. She's also never tried it before, so why not. She got two pancakes, scrambled eggs, two sausages, and hash-browns. I ordered the country fried steak with hash-browns, sunny side eggs, and two pancakes. She thought everything was okay, but she's not usually a breakfast person, or an American food person at that. I enjoyed my dish, except that I felt like my country fried steak was smaller in size compared to what I have ordered before. It was packed around 9am, to my surprise. I didn't know that many people came here in the morning to eat or maybe it's because it was a weekend morning. For the portion of food, it's well worth it! WAAYYYYYY better than the Norm's that just opened up in El Monte. Way better food and way better service especially for the price. Veggie omelette with hashbrowns: cheese, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, and squash inside. That's a lot of stuff inside! Veggie omelettes elsewhere typically only have spinach and mushrooms so this one is large! Grand slam sandwich with hashbrowns: scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage in between toast. My boyfriend told me it was really filling but good because it's like a breakfast platter made into a sandwich! Pancakes with chocolate chips: very fluffy and not overly sweet! I really like this Denny's location because it's way more low key and out of the way than others. Being in a mostly industrial area, you really avoid the drunks and weirdos when all you want is a meal. The staff here are also very attentive and friendly. Always greet you and are always very approachable and will make banter with you. I had a server named David and he was an awesome dude. I order a Cobb Salad at Denny's which was which the salad ingredients being very fresh and tasty but I was taken by surprise by their pricing on the salad, they charged extra for avocado(which is basic ingredient in a Cobb), and also extra for the type of meat in the salad. I usually don't like to write bad reviews but today I was very disappointed. Not sure if they were understaffed but I waited for 15 mins for someone to acknowledge us to get a seat. Once seated we ordered and the food was horrible. We ordered a sampler plate and the boneless chicken was extra hard and had a a thin layer of sauce. My son ordered chicken tenders and they were so hard he couldn't even bite them. I ordered the salmon with veggies and my broccoli was black from being over cooked. I ordered Mac and cheese for my baby and it was also burned. My total was 81.00 for nasty ass food. Never again will I eat here or at any dennys big disappointment. read more

My sisters and I dine at this location frequently. They greet us with a smile and seat us usually without any wait. The waitresses, especially Annie, ask us for what we want to drink and take our orders. They were very friendly and courteous. I've been to many Denny's in my life (I'm a senior) and this is by far, the best in service and in food. The mood in the restaurant is upbeat and well, the decor, is Denny's.
