Tha mac salad was good but that's all I could eat

I'm really disappointed with my experience here. According to my receipt, the employee who helped me was Daniela. From the start, she had a very unfriendly attitude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by ordering. She had an angry expression and was not welcoming at all. After placing my order, I went next door to grab food for my child and came back 20 minutes later to check if it was ready. When I asked if they had called my number yet, another employee reacted as if it were unreasonable for me to even ask, even though it had already been a while. Then, when it was time for my number to be called, she stood there repeating my number over and over, knowing it was mine and clearly just being rude. In total, I waited 30 minutes, which feels excessive for fast food. The restaurant was completely packed, and we had to wait 30 minutes just to get a table. Seeing how busy it was, I assumed the food would be worth the wait. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The chicken was extremely salty and basically inedible. I could only manage a few bites. We ended up leaving still hungry and very unhappy. Overall, this visit was a complete letdown.

Ono always delivers with big serving of plate full of meat and rice. Chicken combo plate is always our go to. The hubby likes the bbq chicken and I like the chicken katsu. It's $13 per plate now Mac salad is solid as always. Really big cup of soda. No shame in sharing 1. Musubi's come in 2's and you can choose spam, beef, or chicken. Ratio of beef and rice is not too bad, but it is a lot of rice. You can probably get full from 2. Staffs are friendly and place looks nice and bright inside now.

After a long day at the snow we like to come here to eat. It's quick and delicious. I ordered fish. It was fresh and warm. They gave additional salad dressing so we can add and it was usually needed. I used to add katsu sauce to the salad when there used to be not enough dressing. Employees were friendly. My dad and I sat at the tables and devoured our food. It hits the spot.

What's up: Grabbing food for dinner and it had been a while since we've had food from Ono. I'm craving some of their macaroni salad! Parking: Located in the Rosemead Place Shopping Center, parking can be difficult in that little corner where the Ono is located. If you're lucky, you might be able to snag a spot. If not, there's always more parking elsewhere if you don't mind a bit of walking. I usually park closer to the side with Cold Stone and Rose City Pizza and walk over...less parking frustration! Environment: Walking in, you'll see the order counter straight ahead. They have a few tables indoors where you can eat. Since we placed our order online, we went to the area marked with "Online and Prepaid Orders". After a short wait, I picked up my order and was off. What was ordered: - Hawaiian BBQ Chicken (yummy chicken and macaroni salad. Drizzle that teriyaki sauce for more yum) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The food at Ono was as good as I remembered. That macaroni salad gets me every time. Pick up was easy and I was out in no time. Credit cards are accepted.

Pick Two: Chicken Katsu and Chicken Teriyaki

Ono's is so nostalgic to me because I use to get it after my collegiate games. I always get the pick two because I like the salad just a bit more than I do of the mac salad (unpopular opinion). Also no sauce on my salad! They packed my bowl and I was not able to finish all at once. Ate it the day after and it was still very good! The katsu was so crispy and I wish I ate more of that the first day of eating it so it stayed crispy. The location was very clean and food came out very fast. I will be coming back to Onos soon! Stop by this location!

Macaroni Salad and Spam Musubi. My first non- hospital meal, yay! Portions for both items are large and delicious.

I was craving Macaroni Salad and Spam Musubi. The portions here also huge! I finished the Macaroni Salad first. Afterwards, I ate the Spam Musubi the next day. The Macaroni Salad was decent. Good amount of pasta. However, the sauce mixed with it tasted weird. A bit too tangy. I would not get this again. Spam Musubi: Two of those were hella hefty! The rice was good and thick. The Spam was also tasty. Eating this made me missed my Mom. Service was delivered via Uber Eats with plenty of napkins.

I've always enjoyed onos and this place is no different. Picked up an online order at 7:30 and had no issues. They pack tons of sauce for you for pickup which is also nice. I tried out the bbq beef musubi for the first time and would say it's worth a try, personally feel like it's better than the spam musubi. For the mains I got the melemele curry chicken and it tasted like it had some Indian spices. Overall pretty good but don't know if I'd go to onos for that. The second main I had was the kalbi short ribs and they were fire as always. Overall a pretty good experience!

Ono is one of my favorite go-to meals when I want some etching satisfying and most importantly, to get me full! I've never dined at the Rosemead location yet but thanks to the Yelp Elite event I was glad it introduced me to this branch. Ashley was so helpful and such a sweetheart when coming to take my order. Although I've had Ono before, I felt like trying something new and letting Ashely choose for me. She was able to answer all my questions, give me suggestions, and allowed me to alter some of the order to encompass everything I wanted. Thank you! I was lucky to get in right before the dinner rush to order but never felt rushed. The service was quick, my order being ready in about 5 minutes. The food was hot and fresh and smelled amazing. I always love their BBQ Chicken and Beef. Tender chicken made with thigh so you know it's gonna be good. Galbi sometimes is hit or miss but I just wanted to try it, bit oily in general. Veggies under are always just good to cut through the meat but THE MAC SALAD. I usually order extra but it's always a staple when it comes to Ono orders. My partner said the katsu was really crispy and had a good amount of meat. Biggest advice is to NOT LEAVE WITHOUT SAUCE. If anything ask for extra if you like sipping like me. Shoutout to Ashely to remind me before I left. Spam Musubi is ok, I wish it had more sauce or egg but tbh it's what you get and is still a good side. Otherwise, I will always order from this location now because everything was super solid. Tysm Ono Rosemead! tip: parking is kinda hard so be patient

    Hawaiian BBQ Chicken

This location is usually good I prefer this location and come here often because I know the food is excellent but sad to say not today. I got a to go order of the BBQ chicken and it was burned and tasted charred I don't want it to seem like I'm attacking them but this is the second time and I want them to take notice that this happened with the same cook. But overall I hope they do something so it doesn't happen again because I was so expected to eat and instead had to throw it away.

The ambiance was okay, but it was kind of too simple and dull. We ordered two Spam musubi ($6.99 each for 2 pieces), a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken mini meal ($11.29), a Kalua Pork plate lunch ($13.99), and a Kalua Combo ($14.49). My daughters liked the spam musubi, and we got two orders for them, so they each had two big pieces. The Hawaiian BBQ Chicken mini meal wasn't too mini; the portion was great with flavorful BBQ chicken, 1 scoop of rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and vegetables. For my Kalua Pork plate lunch (Hawaii's version of pulled pork), I liked my slow-roasted shredded pulled pork with a bit of smoky flavor. It was served over steamed cabbage. The cabbage was a bit chewy, though. I wish the cabbage could be softer; maybe steam it a bit longer. For the Kalua Combo, besides the Kalua pork, you can pick the second choice of BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu, or Teriyaki Chicken. Hubby picked the Chicken Katsu. The portion was big, and it had 2 scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad, and steamed veggies. You can also customize to have the sides, such as 2 scoops of macaroni salad and one scoop of rice, and one scoop of steamed veggies. (Choose your sides up to 4 for the combo.)
