My friends and I made a stop at 6 AM for Dennys, because what better place to eat breakfast at then a spot that is opened 24/7 and is operating at 6 AM?! It's been so long since I had a great American breakfast, and also this was right before the big USA Independence Day! We ordered the grand slam, as well as a plate of Country fried steak. Our pancakes and toast was very good. Good amount of butter and adding syrup was so good. I am glad they have syrup at the table and if they make sure to clean and refill the syrup is the best. I love our crispy bacons and eggs and sausage came out hot. Glad they did not let it sit at the counter. Dennys win at having a value menu and opening 24/7, now to keep their customers they have to ensure fresh food and coming out hot. My experience flows with that! It was so good I came back with my family a second time. I was very pleased with the food and its quality. Only thing was our pancakes were smaller and not portioned the same as the 1st time. Best experience at Denny's I've had. Specifically, their service was surprisingly quick. Denny's is usually known for their extremely slow pace but our food came out quite quick. This location is on the side of a freeway but the layout is very open with bright lighting. You can also kind of see into the kitchen which I like rather than it being behind a thick wall that people disappear into. This location also has many workers which probably contributes to the churning of food out the door! read more

Decent late night meal deals! My family and I decided to stop by for a late dinner at around 10pm and it was pretty busy. It looks like they closed a section off since they seemed pretty under staffed so we had to wait 10 minutes for them to have us seated. I ordered their chicken tenders and fries but asked if I could exchange the fries for hash browns at no additional cost and they said yes! The chicken tenders were perfectly fried and had a nice crunch and saltiness to the breading. It was $10 before tax and tip which isn't a bad deal at all! read more

Denny's is an American diner-style restaurant chain. This location is at Flair Drive by the 10 freeway Baldwin exit. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night! We came here on a Saturday morning and sat by the bar. I perused their menu and ordered a Berry Banana Pancake combo x coffee. My two stack pancakes were fluffy, warm and delicious. Similarly, coffee was perfectly brewed to my liking. Service was outstanding as well as their hardworking beautiful hispanic staff. Prices beats other diner in the area (NORMS and IHOP). Parking lot is huge. Indoor vibe was inviting. It's rare to give a diner four stars but this Denny location deserved it. Overall, it's a good diner to grab breakfast. read more

This is my go to place when I come back from a concert or a Disneyland Trip. Food Besides the regular food items, I'm a big fan of their breakfast selection here. They have some deals under $10 and it will fill you up. I recommend downloading the app to grab some deals, also to rack up some points to redeem. If you didn't know, AARP is accepted here and 15% off is added to dine-in and pick up orders. I order Togo here instead of getting McDonald's breakfast now since you are getting more for the $. Service Was never met by any bad service in my 10 years of coming here. Always have had attentive servers whether it be during peak breakfast hours or the late night times at 1 AM. Always checking up on my group at all times Ambiance There are times where this location is packed and you feel the pressure to eat your meal and leave. what can i say, it's a Denny's.... I've been here a few times simce it's opened (it was a 'carrow's) or something before... Anyway, it's open 24 hours, awesome, they have claw machines in the lobby (awesome) and a ginormous parking lot. The food is actually pretty okay- the patty melt and the salmon were delicious, and the brisket sandwich was great once and not so great the next time. And the breakfast stuff is all great. It's cheap, but not super cheap. Like most places, you will notice the inflationary pressures caused by ... the president you hate most. This is a great Denny's. It is well run and the management respects their employees, and that shows in the food and the service. We eat here regularly. We do go to other restaurants but when we can't decide what to eat we always come here. There are other Denny's closer to our home but this is the one we will take the extra time to drive to. Great food and great service. We have eaten here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed. I travel nation wide and this is my favorite Denny's. That should say it all!!!! This Denny's location is far and away the best location for service. The serving staff and cooks/food prep are unparalleled here compared to any other Denny's I've visited if not any restaurant of this nature. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean and well maintained. You can commonly see someone wiping counters or the glass on the doors as you enter. The servers are on you as soon as you're seated taking your drink order. I have rarely waited if ever. Despite how busy it can get, Cailie, Mimi, Dulce, Leslie and Paola are superstars. They are unfailingly pleasant and get your order to you fresh and hot. The coffee is as well! They never fail to ensure that you get a discount at the register too if you have the card app and it's benefits. They are so conscientious that it make you reminisce about the times when a lot of restaurants had customer service as a benchmark. I personally witnessed them help a bewildered former Sheriff who suffers from extreme dementia. They aided him because they noticed his erratic behavior. He had wandered off from his home 6 miles away in the midnight hour. Cailie and Paola came to his rescue. Congratulations on such a great staff. read more

I came here once late at night like a year or 2 ago and it had half the restaurant closed off (likely because less staff at night and to keep guest occupancy at a manageable size; and COVID safety measures were still in place). Service and waiting was a little slow but standard fair (which is still good). The building itself though was pretty alright for a Denny's. Definitely average, above average for Denny's standards: cleaner feeling and I didn't perceive the usual rank smell/restroom scent you'd normally encounter somewhere inside. What really shined though was the food and cooking time. I think when I was there, I looked through the kitchen window, and I think it was just 1 portly man cooking for the whole restaurant. I didn't see anyone else helping him cook, just him and a guy that did the dishes. Non-stop high intensity high order volume cooking, and the food came out delicious. I want to acknowledge and thank that chef for his excellence, along with the dishwasher or other person helping with the kitchen maintenance. The menu is the standard Denny's menu, price, and taste but unlike some other Denny's where the food quality can fluctuate, everything was cooked and season to near perfection for my experience. If this is how the quality is consistently, then I think I will be coming more often. I mostly don't eat at Denny's unless I'm out and it's like really late at night and other places are closed; so I haven't gone to any Denny's since this time, but lately with how so many places that used to close late have earlier closing times now, I might give this Denny's another visit when I get the late night munchies and don't want to cook or get fast food. read more

Denny's just remodeled its El Monte location and I'm loving the new renovations!!! Manager Noemi and staff always give us the best service possible! I have been coming to this Denny's as a usual since my high school days in the late 2010's. Love me either a bourbon chicken skillet, cheeseburger, or brisket melt any day anytime! After seeing these renovations I really enjoyed the new El Monte lighting logo and paint on the walls! The lighting is brighter and gives more life to the dining room! Went for breakfast this morning because we like the current promotion you have just to find out that you no longer honor it. I asked the waitress Annie if we could have it and she said no, that this holiday menu was the only menu. I told her that it's outside advertised and she was very rude. At this point my sister and kids felts cheated. One, not honoring the sign outside your location and two, this lady acting like she is the owner and has to be rude. This left us a sour taste in our mouth. Please hire nicer people and get your promotions in order. Perhaps remove the sign off your lawn! read more

Lazy ass people I cannot even begin. My gift card magnetic strip wasn't working so she decides to tell me she cannot input the numbers if the magnet strip does not read I'm out of luck. It's funny cuz other locations they apologize for that and they actually manually input the Denny's gift card. My problem is with the Denny's gift card obviously because I bought two of them at $50 one worked perfectly the other one has something wrong with the magnetic strip. Unable to reach Denny's Corp but every day needs is also different and a lot of them are too lazy to don't know how to do that one Denny's actually knew that they had to input the card number and it was fine. No I know Denny's is not a great restaurant nor is it five star but they should at least understand the basics of inputting a card from their restaurant. Is not math science or anything that needs a degree you don't even have to know how to read it's numbers that you input into a computer that you can actually learn a monkey can do it read more
