This Denny's has been one of my favorites; they are rarely extremely busy on the weekends like some of the other local Denny's because they are in an industrial area. The service is always good and and the restaurant is kept clean. They have some TV's so I was able to watch the game today too. I ordered the Supreme Skillet with a Vege patty instead of sausage, hard boiled eggs [not for me] & no cheese to make the dish vegan. Yelp 2017 challenge 10/100 Ok, I've been to this location at least three times-so I feel like this review is pretty fair. The location is right off the 10 freeway close to the Santa Anita exit, on the south side of the freeway. The restaurant has been renovated recently, so it looks updated and clean. The staff has always been quick, friendly, and attentive. As I speak, an employee is taking the initiative to clean the doors, and other surfaces. All the employees here have a smile on their face. It's a good vibe here. The food is consistent. I find myself craving the jalapeño bacon. It seems to be coated?drenched? In a jalapeño flavor-I don't understand it, but I like it. The pancakes are light and fluffy with a vanilla taste. Enjoyable if you like you pancakes that way! The hash browns are fresh, good portioned, and just crisp enough! Been coming here for years's today I received nothing but bad service first he got my order wrong and just brought part of my food to table had to wait for the rest for like 5 minutes then he brought the pancakes with no syrup and had to wait another 4 minutes. Good vibes and they provide such good customer services whether you dine in or order Togo. Not sure if it compares to many Denny's restaurants because some Denny's has poor customer service. To top it off you don't ever have to call for anyone because they seriously bring you everything that you need all at once and they come every so often to check if you need a refill. It's like they can read your mind when you need something they are right there, I think the only time you would have to call them is when you ask for your check. Our server, Cailie, was awesome! I can't say that enough. She gave us the time that we needed to look over the menu, and make our selections, without rushing us into a decision. Then miracle of miracles, our order was 100% accurate when it came out the first time. We were actually surprised how quickly our food came out as the restaurant was very busy when we came in for lunch. Cailie was attentive throughout our visit, and offered extras, such as: asking if we'd like a refill of our beverages to take with us. And... when a couple other people were having an issue taking our payment, she "saved the day." Clearly, Cailie knows what she's doing! She really elevated our experience there. We will definitely be back, and will remember to ask for her. I just wanted to take a minute to recognize what a great server Cailie is. The breakfast special that is listed at $6.99 on the company web site. Is sold for $8.99 here. And they do not allow any changes. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns. They would not even let me get toast. Service was bad. Prices where above listed, And extras where also above listed price. The eggs where warm. Sausage was extra. Only exact those three things. And when I sent corporate at email they said they can charge whatever they want. I called a few other Denny's and they over charged too. What is on the TV ad is a recommended price. Wednesday November 27, 2024 about 2pm I ordered 2 Turkey Dinners to go. It tasted so salty, and the food had such an unexplainable yucky taste that no matter how much brushing with toothpaste or the amount of peppermint Tums and water we couldn't get the taste out of our mounths and just felt terrible. I called maybe 3 or 4 hrs after eating and talked to the manager I was embarrassed I told him, for complaining, but I felt they needed to know, we didn't enjoy the meals at all. The amount of salt and the weird taste it was a waste of almost $40. The manager was a little upset and said that he sold 150 meals on Tuesday of the exact food we had on Wednesday and we were the only ones to complain. I apologized he said it was ok that I called but they get the food delivered to them in bags the just opened , heat and serve. They don't season the food. His explanation didn't help much. The bf pretty much had the same thing, but instead of pancake but toast, he is boring like that. After placing the order, we waited less then 10 mins to get our food, all our items arrived all together at the same time. Getting the bill was really quick too! Customer service is great, given that they were already so busy and packed, they managed to find time to check in with us to make sure we are okay. We ordered an appetizer sampler, we got onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. the chicken tenders were as hard as rocks, the onion rings and mozzarella stick were very soggy. we reviewed them at the same time as the rest of our food so we ate our sandwiches then when my uncle tried a mozzarella stick the cheese on the inside wasn't even melted, the onion ring were so soggy too and the whole appetizer thing was gross and inedible. there was a random potato on the plate that had nothing to do with what we ordered. then when we brought it to the managers attention she tried to blame us and say that we never complained to our server when we had just barely tried them right when we complained. she handled the situation very immaturely and was so rude. i'll be sure never to recommend this dennys to anyone. clearly they have poor customer service skills and are disrespectful towards customers. i have never had a more unprofessional experience with a manager. read more

I had no idea Denny's offered various burger options. It wasn't until I visited this Denny's location that I noticed the Slamburger, and I simply had to to try it. Why?.... well, for starters, I'm a hashbrown kinda girl. Not just that, but I like my eggs sunny side up most of the time. Did I mention it comes with BACON!? This is a great place to eat. Not just because of the food, but because of the environment the servers create. They are very friendly, they learn your name, they go the extra mile for the customer. I asked a couple of waiters and waitresses what makes this Denny's such a great place. They told me, they owner Jamal, treats them with respect and he is always going the extra mile for them as well. As a Leadership Development Specialist, I had to stop and meet Jamal and congratulate him. I think his leadership style is a great example of managing a Denny's restaurant.
