The GM was amazing. I had been driving all around Fresno trying to find an outlet to charge my computer so I could do work. Every Starbucks in town literally did not have a working "outlet" nor did the McDonald's. It was greeted right away - I was able to watch the staff interact with regulars and customers. Truly loved the atmosphere here. Highly recommended & bonus - they brew good coffee. read more

I was here June 30 at about 9pm with a party of 7 the service we received was horrible they took our order and they were never seen again .I had to ask the person cleaning the tabels next to us for glass of water and coffee waiting for dinner was more than one hour the pancakes had a hair cooked inside them.They had me waiting 45 mintues for the bill .I believe these people working are either raciest or just lazy .I will never go back to this place again what a shame because I enjoyed having Denny's in my neighborhood. read more

Went there Monday morning...sat in the family section. Ordered my food..delivered while I relaxed and read my paper. Put salt and pepper on food....someone had left the top of pepper unscrewed....asked the waitress to help me...she immediately reordered my plate and we had a good laugh about it. Gave a good tip. For a Denny's, the food and service have always been consistent. Never quite amazing, but never bad. We always end up with nice solid experience here. If I could give a score for just service, it's a little closer to 4 stars, but at the end of the day, it's still Denny's food which is just not that amazing. (Though do try the Fried Cheese Melt. It's one of the most amazing, disgusting heart attacks on a plate I have ever consumed.) read more

My wife and I went to this location for a late brunch.The place was not really that busy at 2:30pm but waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. Waitress came and took our order and brought our drinks but forgot the water we also asked for. We waited about 30 minutes and in between more customers were coming in , got tired of waiting so i asked a manager on duty what was the problem with our order, she then went to go check on it and sent out a new waitress ti come and tell me they don't know where our original waitress went but she didn't put in our order. Decided to dine for breakfast...Service was not so great. Our waitress was slamming plates and looked super sloppy. Felt like she rushed us. Was low on drinks and she didn't bother to refill or ask if we wanted refills. Just gave us our check and that was that. Food on the other hand was good. T bone steak came out perfect. Medium well. Tender, cooked, a little pink on the inside. Oh yeah not to mention, the Mexican lady who brought out our food was very friendly. I believe she is a busser. They need to have her as a waitress. I went in by myself to have breakfast. I've been a server before and in customer service for 10 years so I know what to expect when it comes to the simple things like greeting and smiling. Honestly every time I come to this particular Denny's I have bad experiences with the host, they leave you standing there without saying "it will be just a moment" and they always have a worried/stressed face. Well this morning I had a bit of a different experience, a server came and greeted everyone that was standing at the front and started asking for names and party quantities. I was seated pretty fast thanks to this server and she immediately asked for my drink. I had my drink in less than 5 minutes, she had other drinks with her and told me she would be right back which was perfect to give me time to think of my meal. She came back and I ordered pancakes with blueberries a la carte and asked for some frosting spread over them. A few minutes later she came with more coffee and asked if everything was good. Not long later I had my pancakes and she offered some butter. She had a few tables besides mine and I was serviced very well, not rushed and felt welcomed. She came back to check on me once after I had my meal to check if it all tasted fine. I appreciate good service and Mayra did a great job, definitely will ask for her next time. read more

For the last few times that we've been here, we have ordered the same dish. Every time we tell them a specific order. We bought two fit fare omelettes the first time, the service was horrible, and the bill came to under just $20. The second time we get it to go, the same two omelettes, and this time its over $20. The third time, we buy one omelette this time to go, asking for turkey bacon on the side. We come home and find out that there is no bacon and the toast is missing. Every time we have paid our full bill, we didn't complain for a free meal, we just wanted good customer service which apparently only the manager is able to give when complaints are given. This Denny's needs to work on CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!..which includes smiling and asking "how are you"..upon arriving no one greeted us nor ask how many in are party.....after being seated we waited 15 before taking are order was taking..that's because the couple behind us ordered first. I have been a regular at Denny's for years. I have always been pleased with my menu choices. The $6 Southwest Turkey Sandwich with fries ordered to go was one of the worst ever. After getting all the way home I opened it to notice it looked nothing like the picture. Plus it had no meat on half of the sandwich. Called...was told to bring it back... I requested a refund. Was told no one but the manager could do that, and she was not there. They gave me another sandwich which wasn't better than the first one. Yuck!!! This location is my favorite spot for an inexpensive breakfast anytime of the week. Sunday mornings are super crowded though so if you have the patience you'll be waiting 30 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes to eat. Service is good. Staff is great. Food is average. The hamburgers are masterpieces though. They don't skip on the quality of meat. These burgers are delicious no matter which one you order. Comparable to Red Robins gourmet burgers! read more

Had dinner here the other day with my siblings. Service was okay but we were pretty much neglected. The water also tasted weird, it had a fishy smell to it. The waiter brought back new water cups, but the smell persisted. After we were done eating and waited a long time to get our bill (which never came), we went up to meet a very rude worker at the counter. He was slamming stuff and did not smile at all.
