Went here morning on Sunday with my family, we waited over an hour and a half to be seated. My mother asked twice about the wait time of when we will be seated. The host snapped at her, gave her a terrible attitude and said it was "out of my control" The host treated the other guests nicely so I'm unsure what problem the host had with my family. We aren't rowdy or rude, we just waited patiently. We ended up going to IHOP. My family and me have been coming here for years. Never had a problem with the waitresses or cooks or anyone but the new host. Foods alright. read more

Have been to this location several times for the birthday Grand Slam. Every time, the food has been good, the coffee has been good, and the service has been great. The interior has a fresh retro diner look. We've sat at tables and at the counter and received attentive service at both. Denny's locations are becoming few and far between, so if on the east side, I recommend this location. read more

I have never left a restaurant so sick in my life and it was all because of the raw apple bourbon crepe I had with my breakfast. My boyfriends food wasn't pleasant either. His Cinnamon Roll pancake w/ salted caramel breakfast weren't fully cooked in the middle. What we noticed is the amount of toppings they added on to hide the raw parts. My creeper was so filled with cream it was already soggy when it got to our table. Opened it up to see the inside of the crepe still RAW and cream shouldn't be oozing out of a crepe. It looked like they only cooked one side of the crepe also. My boyfriends pancakes... we are at lost for words how can you mess up pancakes? Again they over-did the toppings to hide the uncooked part in the middle. How is a breakfast joint this bad at making breakfast ?? Never coming back here. Disgusting, I took a few bites of everything, scrambled eggs cold, my bacon wasn't crispy whatsoever, my hash browns were eh. Get your s**t together, actually check food before serving them! The food was good and portions huge! The waitress even told us how to get what we wanted at the best price! The problem was that there were not enough wait staff for the amount of customers and it took to long to have our food order taken, cooked and delivered! Waitress was nice but very slow.. let me start off by saying Hostess set us @ a sticky table, instead if 20 other tables that was available, then forgot to give us menus! I watched a group of 4 who ordered after us ( party of 2) receive food before us! It wasn't the best experience I've ever received.. Staff was friendly, but women's bathroom was nasty!! This Denny's is literally right by my house. My husband and I love to go here late night. Food is still just as good as night time, so that's a plus. Every time we have came here, we always have a nice server. This is also a good place to get a togo order. Some times food takes a little longer, but it's never bad when it comes to the table. I'm not really a complainer if waiting on food for longer than we ought to if it's good. Go here all the time and never have a bad experience. They do get packed on the weekends for the morning rush. read more

This is a difficult one to score. The food was actually pretty good. The portions served were huge and the cost is just right. The food was still hot when I got it, which is better than i can say for a lot of Denny's. The restaurant looks fairly new like it was renovated recently. The only downfall for this place is lack of training of the staff. They are extremely slow and inattentive. One "kid" seemed more into listening to his blues tooth headset than he did wAiting on his tables, not really sure how he gets by with that... with some better training or A manager on shift who cares, this place can improve leaps n bounds!! read more

We went in tonight, Tuesday, 8:30. It was very dead. Nice. We got right in. We were seated immediately as well as asked what we would like to drink. When she came back with our drinks, we placed our orders and it was back to us in ten minutes. We thought that was awesome. What we thought was even more outstanding, was, this woman takes orders with her head; she had no pad and pen. There were three people ordering in our party. She was extremely pleasant. Something I thought was, Tuesday, kids eat free? Maybe not anymore? I don't know. I'm OCD as it comes, so, the restroom wasn't as highly clean as I would like. The trash was filled to the brim and there were a few things on the ground. It wasn't DIRTY, but it wasn't PERFECT. Also, there were a few things throughout the dining area that could be picked up. Our table had two sticky drink marks on it. Our waitress said she would be back to clean it, but never did. It had to be all of that food on her brain. Lol Overall though, our visit was great. As for this location it was point on. service was really good, waitress was nice and enjoyed the jokes we were making. we were pretty hungover and so it ended up being a good fun experience. the location was really clean and they were fairly busy but that didn't slow the service down at all. Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Denny's. I understand that's Saturday's are busy, but when a patron is sitting at the bar next to the kitchen for 20mins (not an exaggeration) you would think they would have at least received their coffee. I had to walk away from my seat to another server to ask for assistance. That individual was very apologetic and helpful and got me a coffee and put my order in. The first time I saw my server was when she brought me my food. I asked for another cup of coffee and once again after a 10min wait had to flag down another server. Very disappointed. read more

Best Dennys in the city! It's clean! I always sit in Mrs. Barbara section she does everything you expect a waitress to do. She leaves extra napkins she refills your beverage before you have to ask she makes sure your food is something she will serve her family. I can brag on Mrs Barbara all day but you have to go find out for yourself it's worth it! Update:I Came back at midnight and it's like night and day the night staff is not as professional and the service is blah I will stick to coming in the morning/afternoon never again at midnight. read more

1st I called in a carry out.... sat on hold for 5 minuets, and had to call back to put in my order..ask for the total and was hung up on... was told 20 minuets and I have been sitting here 15..... Went to this quaint breakfast spot with my kids. I didn't know if I was going to be dealing with a "ground out" or a "home run" breakfast. This is the cleanest, nicest Denny's that I've ever been to. It's nestled in the middle of an industrial park, so I was halfway expecting a grimy store with grumpy staff. Nothing could be further from the truth. The restaurant looks brand new, the staff takes pride in the cleanliness of the facility, they are friendly and respectful as can be, and the food is consistently correct and delicious. read more

Omg what can I say this Denny's was fantastic, the server Mary was the bomb she was nice, friendly, went out of her way to make our visit special, this Denny's was recently remodeled and the new look was spectacular, it didn't even look like a Denny's. Denny's is....well you know...Denny's... right? WRONG! This Denny's is HORRIBLE! Seriously! We stopped to have a late dinner after dropping off someone at the airport. There was not any other choices of places to eat at this late hour on a Sunday night. They were fairly busy, not overwhelmingly so but the employees working were not handling the customers or the restaurant period! It was so disorganized, and all of the employees were slow and had non-caring attitudes, except our server....Thankfully! She was the only one that seemed with it out of the entire bunch. There were plenty of employees present but it was obvious that they are all unmotivated and simply could have cared less about waiting on customers. They moved at a snails pace and the conversations amongst themselves was far more than any interaction with customers. The food was decent, however not hot, and it was lukewarm at best. It took quite awhile to get our food and they didn't have all of food ready. So we waited another 10 minutes for the rest of it? Which by then I was over it! Never again! read more

first of all its a denny's what do you expect. second of all its off of 21st and post so now you're just asking for bad food/service like seriously. came here multiple times without any issues however one time i came here around 2 AM with a friend of mine stood in the front for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated as we could see about 5 employees in the kitchen standing around talking and just ignoring us. eventually after being seated my friend got a lemonade which was totally warm and had some weird white substance floating inside of it. the waitress even asked him if something was wrong with it like bruh. table was still wet from when they cleaned it last, silverware was dirty and still had food on it, food took awhile even though there was only like 3 other tables and it was 2 AM and all the employees did was stand around and talk and they could be heard throughout the entire resturant being super loud. yet again had to wait about 5-10 just to pay as no one ever comes up to the front. lol this place bro. read more
