I havent been to a Dennys in 5 years. Until recently I decided to try it out again. This is why I wont be returning. First off, a server should always greet your table instead it was a busser. And it wasnt even a 'greet' she came up and took our drink order. Then the server stopped by, did not even introduce herself and quickly took our food order. Once the food arrived at the table, COLD. It was all COLD. i ordered a skillet, normally the skillets are suppose to be sizzling because they serve it on a hot plate. Pancakes tasted like chewy plastic.The toast, cold and hard. First, I called them (the 310 N. Nellis Blvd. LVNV location) to make sure they served grits. Rosalia, the manager, said, "Yes, upon request." Next, my husband and I went there to have breakfast, shortly after speaking with Rosie. Our server was Laura. She was great! She wasn't sure if grits were still available, but would check before telling me or discouraging me. Once she returned, she had 'good news'..."Yes, we do!" I asked for no cheese and usually other Denny's forgets and gives me cheese in my scrambled eggs. But, this location gave me cheese free eggs. It wasn't super busy, but it was busy. My children grew up coming here for a family dinner, it wasn't until the last few years that the service has gone to scrap. On my birthday last year I came in for dinner. I got biscuits and gravy (so did my kids and sister) when we got our food it was cold and my eggs were undercooked. I told our waitress and she heated our food and brought me a new dish. While I was eating I found not 1 but 2 long blonde hairs in it. I was disgusted. I spoke with the manager and he said I didn't have to pay since I didn't eat. Today my family (4 people including myself) and I came in for dinner and everything was great. I left a $10.00 dollar tip on the table. I paid for the food got my receipt and left. I went to get gas but my card was declined, so I checked my bank statement and found out that they took out another $10 dollars from my card without asking me first. I thought it was weird because my receipt said $37.00 but my bank said $47.41. I went back and spoke with the manager (the same guy from last time) and he said its probably still pending. I told him that I will be back tomorrow to get everything straightened out. I DO NOT recommend coming to this food establishment. From my experience its definitely not worth your time! read more

I love going to denny's. Their food is always well prepared but I don't think I'll be going back, at least not to this location. The server only went once to take our order and another time to give us our receipt. Also, the girl who took our food to our table had such a dull and and stand-off attitude towards us. We also asked her for more coffee and we didn't even see her after that anymore. I understand that they were busy but that still was no reason for any of the servers to be ignorant with us. Denny's was actually one of our favorite places but it took this ONE bad experience to never come back here again. As we're waiting outside, we see people coming in being seated before us. Not only that my t bone steak had no flavor and tasted as it came out of the microwave. Nasty grime all over my Cola cup. When I asked my waitress for a to go cup and showed her the nasty grime on my cup, she acted as if it wasn't important. Luckily I didn't drink from the cup. HORRIBLE!!! Our server was ok however some other girl LAKEISHA came to our table , while we're were eating and wanted a chair. We told her we were using it (for our 2 purses and diaper bag) and she responded with WELL WE HAVE PEOPLE WAITING TO BE SEATED AND I NEED THIS CHAIR. So we have her one. She ended up taking 2 total. This has been my favorite hamburger restaurant for years. The food is always good. Usually a 5 star rating, however, the service has been lacking. This morning (8:30) we went here for breakfast and with our grand slams we ordered a side of biscuits and gravy which never came out. Thankfully it did not appear on the bill. All the food was hot and tasted good so we were happy about that. But the other problem was the dirty coffee cups. Coffee stains things. Simply tossing the cup in the rack to be washed by machine is not enough. The inside of the cup should be cleaned by hand. This is not my Uncle Ray's farm house where he likes his mug "seasoned". This is Denny's. We were here 2 days ago for lunch(2:30pm) and again my husband's pancakes finally showed up when he was done with his meal. It was difficult to get the attention of the server at all once we placed the order. She dropped of the food, said here you go and that was it. 39 minutes she flew by and slid a plate of pancakes on the table and kept going! The check came a few minutes later without a word. I am getting disappointed in my favorite place. Hopefully this will help the manager to pay attention to the details that create a strong and loyal customer base . read more

Went to Denny's in the early morning about 1 am a couple of days ago. There were very little people dining in. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks out. The service wasn't great. The food was terrible. Pancakes were like rubber, sausages did not taste like sausage and the eggs was ok. As we were finishing up I noticed that a couple came in and the the waitress sat them down. Then the waitress cleaned up a table and wiped the seats down (which is great for being clean and sanitized) but she wore no gloves. The waitress then went to get the couples drink and I noticed that she did not wash her hands. I hope that the couple noticed what happened because they got up and left. My friend called the next day to complain about the service and the waitress not wearing any gloves. They said that they'll be looking into it. And as far as wearing gloves they said that it is highly suggested to wear one but not a requirement to wear one. I think at this time of high numbers of COVID I would think that management would take all precautions to ensure the health of employees and guests. I don't blame the waitress she's not the one cooking or she's not management to ensure that proper procedures are being done to make sure that workers and customers are being safe. Drove off strip to find late night dinner. Diner closes at 12, we were turned away at the door at 11:10. The amazing thing was that, not only was there a clock behind the hostess which she couldn't read, I translated the hour and minute hand for her so that she didn't have to burn brain cells in doing so. She still didn't understand the concept of dining in fifty minutes, feeling that this was an enormous impossibility to accomplish. The manager backed up the inept hostess with her mirrored incredulous facial expressions, which came out as an apologetic smile. Denny's employs short order cooks and doesn't have to cook anything longer than four minutes. I was probably going to order a club sandwich anyway. Just keep driving and hit up IHOP, it's literally 30 seconds away from this Denny's. I am actually a Denny's fan. When I am in the mood for something that is full of calories and eggs that are stuffed with meat and cheese, Denny's is a good place to come. It's great for eating after you've been drinking and it's good for a breakfast, just because you want to have a huge Grand Slam breakfast. Unfortunately this Denny's is really sub-par, and I know, I know - it's Denny's! But still. The place is always super crowded and the waiters always seem on the verge of having mental break downs. They often forget items or don't have the food brought out correctly (ie: my boyfriend always orders things without onions and here they always manage to leave them on). Plus, I think Denny's is over-pricing its food now-a-days. Unless you go for their specials such as the breakfast slams you might as well go eat somewhere else and get better food for a better price.
