Not a place I normally go to but being Veterans Day I was going to go for breakfast. I walked in, there was a couple in front of me who was putting their name in. It was a 25 minute wait which I would have done until the guy behind the counter yelled at a lady who sat on the bench in the waiting area. On the other side of the wall was a guy sitting at a table and the guy behind the counter yelled at this lady telling her she could not sit there because of the guy on the other side of the wall. He told her she had to go sit in her car while she waited?? You really going to treat potential customers like that? I will never go to this location. read more

First of all I would have given it four stars if it wasn't for the treatment of the general manager Jose. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but from the moment I walked in. He asked me how many was in my party and I told him there were two adults one teenager and a child when he sat me down I noticed he gave me two kids menu to which I asked him would you mind replacing this with a regular menu and he snarled back "I thought you said two children?" I clarified I said one teenager and one child. And then he walked away mumbling "well I don't know, whatever ". And all that was before we ordered our food. Now our server was excellent, she was a joy to be around. But right after we got our food she informed us that the manager ( jose) is telling her she needs to go take a break and that was the only time she came and served us for the rest of our meal, which was kinda odd. But then upon checking out and paying for the bill Jose told us that we cannot split the bill because the machine does not allow them to do it. But as I was standing in line prior I witnessed him do it to a customer ahead of me with no problem I can't help but notice that he was more friendly and more accommodating to people of the same cultural background that he shares but as soon as I approached his attitude and his demeanor changed. He could not help provide the service that I was asking for which was only to split the bill 50/50. He stated we would have to do one on the card and the other half with cash. But I just witnessed him do it for the customer prior to me with no problem. I have to admit I feel like my family and I were a little discriminated against and we don't understand why. I can't! I just can't do it any longer! It's not so much the food that is a turn off, but the insane prices for the food! With Covid-19 going on, finding places open for breakfast as early as 6am can be tough! Denny's was one of two, and the closest, so it won out. I had the All-American Slam with a cup of coffee, and by the time tip was added in, it was $20! Now if you were out for dinner somewhere, or a nice brunch, I can see that being the norm with no problem. But for 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns, and toast it is simply excessive! The eggs were cooked perfectly soft scrambled, the sausage was tasty, the hash browns had that great crunchy exterior, but the sourdough toast was excessively dry! For a chain restaurant to charge $20 for a basic breakfast/coffee just isn't what I have become willing to accept at this point and time in my foodie life! read more

We showed up last minute with a group of about 4 families and the manager on duty (3/25/24 @ 11am) was great and accommodating in the fact that we had to start on different table and then they moved us to one soon after tables freed up. Maribel was great and service was great and on point considering we had such a bog group. I am definitely picking this place every time we come to Vegas. read more

Service was non-existent - only 1 person working we were acknowledged and told to sit anywhere and that was it. Never followed up, took orders from other folks and just ignored or overlooked us. Another couple came in after us and asked if we had been helped yet and we told them no. I know that time of night is not that busy and there were maybe 6 tables of people to no include us. One word. Ew. The crepe was cold, had it re-cooked twice. The strawberry's were green. The crème was all runny. Got me sick after eating. Then the nachos were stale, I could've puked. Dude (or Dudette - I don't see race or sex), have you ever been to a Dennys? Well this one is exactly as you expect and have experienced at other Dennys. Not sure there's much to say except that Dennys is at least consistent in their offerings and with their quality of food. Everything is A-Ok and the prices are pretty cheap. Also on your birthday you get a free Grand Slam. In my personal opinion you should really only be eating at Dennys for their breakfast options. All their other attempts like dinner entrees and lunch items are pretty meh. Breakfast is where they shine. read more

Anybody who tells you that Vegas is a 24 hour town, is either lying or hasn't tried to find a non-poker bar to eat at, on a Sunday, after 10 PM, off of the Strip. It's damn near impossible to find any place open. Just like last Sunday, Jerry J. and I were on the prowl last night (7/31/11) for some food to celebrate having one whole day this week, off from work today (Monday.) After driving home from work and getting picked up, Jerry suggested that we drive down by where he lives (Sunset Station) rather than by where I live (GVR) - there was nothing open, the cafe inside of Sunset was closed until 6 AM for cleaning and for whatever reason, Jerry doesn't think it's okay to take girls to bars for a proper meal. The only option was Denny's or IHOP over there and he said he didn't care for either, so we drove back up to GVR. Everything was closed there, so we ended up at Denny's on Eastern. Eff. We drove around for an hour for nothing! The place was pretty dead at a little after midnight. There was only two tables that had people at them. We got the menus and... Jerry said nothing was jumping out to him. I'm not a big fan of Denny's - their food isn't very good anymore, so I agreed. They have some new menu out that has "regional" dishes and I was really eyeing the shrimp and grits. All of the sudden, common sense took over as I pondered how good the quality of seafood, at a Denny's, in a desert would be, and that the grits probably were of the instant variety. The waitress had to check on us three times before we were ready to order because we were too busy chatting to look over our menu. Good thing she was patient with us. When it was time, Jerry ordered a burger and fries, and I settled on the peach french toast, with two sunny side eggs, 2 sausage links and hash browns for $5.99 The food came out quickly. My toast, and what I think were canned peaches, were a little black on the edges, but it was okay. The eggs were not good - they had a thick, congealed, clear layer on top - something I've never seen on eggs I've made sunny side up at home. They weren't good quality and they tasted...not good. You can tell the quality of an egg - the better the quality, the more orange the yolk. Of course, quality eggs come from chickens that were fed bugs and worms and quality feed and were allowed to scratch around outside. These yolks were highlighter-yellow and tasteless. Poor chickens. I don't think Jerry was that impressed with his food. The meal was pretty blah for both of us, but we were there over an hour. The waitress was good, but that's about it. Skip this place and just go to the grocery store if you need food on a late Sunday night because Denny's won't hit the spot. read more

There are two managers here, one is Sean who is the nicest man and a fantastic socialable guy. I go with my Aunt who is handicapped and he was so kind in helping her. However the other manager is not friendly or helpful towards handicap people, he made my aunt put her leg down because it was a fire hazard and was totally rude to my family, handicaps, and the waitresses defending us. The food is delicious and other waiters are fantastic, however the other manager is very rude and needs to be more customer friendly and act like a proper manager. read more

So I am very disgusted with this Dennys! My son brought his friends to eat and right from the start the very older lady had an attitude with the breakfast selection that they ordered! The older lady got very upset with us because we wanted a refill on the pancakes and hashbrowns!! Now why would you have the Endless breakfast and not give the endless pancakes and such???
