This by far is the worst Dennys and restaurant I've ever been to. We were seated quickly [at a table with a dirty cup underneath] and served drinks. Our waiter Samuel was pleasant. My boyfriend ordered the Banana Cream pancakes and I got the sampler....chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. After that it went all down hill. We prob waited at least 20 minutes for our food. As soon as he sat my food down I could tell the chicken was burnt. I ate the mozzarella sticks and waited for him to return so I could send back the chicken. And I waited and waited. Yesterday I was in the mood for a Grand Slam at 2AM after a few brews with friends, when my food was served my food wasn't as hot as I would prefer, I told the waitress if she cut warm it up a little bit more for me she's in the problem but it was a nice young manager that overheard the conversation and instead the AM Manger ask the server to have my slam remade, explain to her that she didn't have to do that they could just warm it up.. my food was remade and served to me piping hot! really appreciated the extended service from the woman manger on duty she went above and beyond to make sure there was total customer satisfaction Thanks AM manager because a prompt service and customer satisfaction I will definitely be back. You can't beat the pancakes for the money. I just got 2 pancakes for $2.00. They had a great buttermilk flavor and the butter was whipped. Unfortunately, the pancake under the top one was much smaller then then one on top. All in all, this was a good value. Service was good. Parking was easy. read more

The service was and is very slow and my server azul c. was extremely rude she rudely slammed my drink on the table when I asked for a refill. Not to mention she took extremely long to take my order and gave me attitude when I asked to get extra plates which she forgot to bring when she brought in the appetizers. Okay.. first of all, the food was so bad. I ordered the chicken strips, sirloin steak and nachos. Lets start with the steak. This is nowhere close to MEDIUM RARE. Its soo hard to chew and it taste weird. The mashed potato is very salty too! I know i ordered very late, around 1:40ish am, but my food was COLD. I ordered the food thru UberEats and i received my food at 3:05am. Wow. The next thing is the tenders.. i took 1 freakin but and i ended up tossing them in the trash. VERY VERY SALTY. ALSO BURNT. I ordered ranch for the dipping sauce, and they gave me BBQ. What the hell Denny's? Its 1:40am when i ordered, i dont think you guys are that busy for messing up my order.? Denny's late at night or early morning depending on how you look at it, is always an interesting experience. Pulling into Long Beach at 3am and needing some food, Denny's is about the only place open. I don't have Denny's on the top of my list of great places to eat, but at this hour, Denny's is always open and the food isn't actually really that bad, like it's reputation might be. Service was fine, and we weren't the only ones in the place! I couldn't figure out if I needed breakfast at 3am of just food to fill my tummy after a long drive. I decided on the Double Cheese burger and fries for around $11 bucks and my friend got the same. The food came out quickly, as I figure the kitchen wasn't doing too much else. It look tasty and big plated in front of me. The fries are all the same at all the Denny's, small wedges with crinkle cuts. They were just OK, I could tell if they were reprocessed potatoes or not, but at this hour who cares? The burger was actually very good, cooked medium and tasty. It filled the spot at 3am and now I can get some sleep till the sun rises! I'd come back to the Denny's if I was in this area again and at this hour of the morning. You can always at least depend on Denny's to be open at all hours and the food is decent. Maybe not gourmet trendy with kale salads and truffle oil fries, but it gets the job done. Absolutely terrible service and false advertising. The staff is Mis-trained and misinformed, on the menu. I went here for a birthday slam, showed the coupon and the waiter said they could do it. When it came time to pay they had every complaint and reason they couldn't do it. The store manager was no help either. In customer service the customer is always supposed to be right but this manager thinks otherwise. Very rude and still didn't even give me my meal free like it was advertised!! I will never be going back to this location and I recommend against anyone else going here as well. To top it all off our waiter had completely forgot about a shake that I ordered, which had already made me a little upset. Asking a questions shouldn't be a horrible act, if this location still accepts EBT. They had an 2x3 EBT placard sign posted at the front doors for a while. Going inside I just wanted to double check, if EBT is valid since the sign disappeared since the end of February 2022. Went in looked around for a waiter or hostess for a min or two there was no one in the front cashier area. A waitress finally came up and asked how I can be helped. I asked, if they still accept EBT. She then tells me they never accepted EBT. I asked again saying I've seen a large EBT sign near the front doors and she yells at me saying, "WHERE IS THE EBT SIGN HUH???" My nephew and I were in town for Complexcon at the convention center and stopped at Dennys yesterday for breakfast before starting our day. They went out of their way to make sure we were okay after our car broke down in the middle of the street in front of restaraunt..people these days dont seem to care and It felt good, like someone cared when they checked on us several times to see if we needed any assastance..The manager was verry helpfull to us (I think his name is Hector).
