I honestly wish I didn't have to give any stars. The girl up front kept skipping people in line. She helped 2 people that showed up in line after us. Honestly that's when we should have just left when that happened. The coffee cup that was given to my husband was dirty and looked like it had been cleaned. Other people that came in after us got their food before us. We had to confront two people (one being the manager) of why we didn't get our food first. Our waitress actually questioned us of why we didn't get our food yet. We don't know why we didn't get our food, we don't work there. Then our kids pancakes was just covered in whipped cream and there was barely any pancakes at all. The only time they checked on us is when we were done and about to leave, so it seemed like they were just making sure we paid. They literally forgot about us. Never eating here again. read more

Service the first time I went was amazing, 4-5 months ago. There was a older lady that was manager at the time. The 4 times after that though was no good, this last time was the worst and will not be returning. I Iove eating at Denny's but pick a different location if you want actual service. This place is very dirty... Went there a few weeks ago for breakfast was almost Scared to eat there. As I sat there looking around I was in shock at how dirty the place was. The blinds on the windows had a layer of dust that was Unbelievable and the wooden wall separation in the dining area was filthy dirty also. Even though it could do with a good remodel job ....if they would just do a good scrub down of that dining room area ......it would be such a big improvement...... food was mediocre! Okay since my very initial and first review of this place {literally} it's become my go-to place for breakfast. Family is now VERY friendly with the whole staff and the managers and General Managers Penny and Joe. {as in I can shout across the place at them and they shout back and we all ignore the looks from other diners :) } They have turned this place over and around and have it running beautifully. I normally have to wait forever or go hunt them down so I can leave. So here I sit as I smoke and finish my coffee writing to the Yelp world about the pleasurable experience. I go in, on a very slow Friday night, I'm in the car with my bf otw home from it making this rn, Our waitress comes over and she's great and pretty nice but everytime she walked off she was nagging abt something with the other workers , I ignored it and tried to enjoy the mediocre/subpar food she had brought us, then after we are done she comes over still playing nice, gives the receipt, we had a budget an we had gone a little over but it was a barely $30 meal and I put a $2.22 tip for her bc I didnt enjoy the service after she came to check abt Togo boxes and proceeded to gawk at my plate, so she earned her tip idc but she came over and slapped my card and receipt back on the table as she walked past and said "thanks" all rude and blunt, then stomped away to go literally start talking abt my bf and I right there in the walkway, with other employees, i heard her say "look- they gave me a 2.22$ tip!" And some other stuff I couldn't hear ,then grumbled some more crap out as we were trying to leave, I didn't even hear bc o felt so terrible and i have bad reactions to things like that, I didnt want to talk but as I was leaving I said "that's all I could give" , I just really didn't have more to give than maybe $3 so I'm sorry but I don't control the way business goes I can only look out for myself and I deserve to go out some weekends to sit and eat with my lover on our tight ass budget so that was just ridiculous to me...really ruined my night and made me feel awful, I drive a beat up mini van from 2003 and I pulled in there looking homeless so idk rlly what she expected but she needs an attitude adjustment, she's the one who came up to the table first off joking "that's my cigarettes pack not my notebook " headass , my money goes to surviving and taking care of myself not useless nicotine money traps so maybe a $2 tip could make u happy if u actually wanted to be happy, get well soon lady, and dennys u guys are going down the shitter rn, y'all don't even have good food ngl, waste of money if u ask me, bland cafeteria food there and rude or zombie employees. weird. read more

Management is unprofessional, call to complain? They are gonna fight you on it and tell you that you "hurt their feelings". Service is subpar, UNLESS you go in the morning when the servers actually care. Your food get messed up and need to be remade?? Its probably gonna end up at the table of a server or a servers friend. I have been coming to this Denny's for a while but I don't think I'll be back until there is a management change, based on their past I suspect that gives me about a month. We walked in, we were sat promptly as we were walking to the table our server asked us what we wanted to drink and we told him and he brought it. Odd but it got the job done. We sit down and he asks if we are ready to order, to which we reply "no we have some friends coming then we will be ready." Well that's the last time we would see George at our table. Honestly I am a little worried about George, where did he go? Is he okay? Does he have a memory issue?? Our friends show up and the lords angel "Megan" shows up she takes my friends drinks but we aren't ready to order yet. She she brings the drinks and says she will be back. A while later Megan comes back to our table and takes our order. And as the Devil does he worked against this angel of Gods. And our food took 15-20 minutes to finally come out. If you must come here I recommend Megan. She actually cares, she is a big people person and she works hard. I guess I should edit this and specifically point out my server and the manager since i am being attacked and say that the picture is from another night that I came in, but same story basically with different names. read more

It's an average Denny's but there were two highly disappointing things. The Philly omelet my wife received had no seasoning and tasted like cheap beef cuts and eggs. There were vegetables but all tasted bland and was highly disappointing. I had the grand slugger and thanks to salt and pepper I added, it was acceptable. The microwave bacon the provide is cheap, thin, and tasteless. The pancakes were even worse. The top pancake was bigger than the bottom so it was an illusion of the size. Then the way the syrup is served is out of olive oil bottles. This does not work, leave the syrup open to bugs, pours slowly, had no sweetness, and the bottle was so sticking that the napkin I used to pick it up got stuck to it. Next time, I'll go to iHop and any other breakfast place. Avoid this location for breakfast. On a positive note, the waitress we had was very kind and what earned the second star. read more

I am giving only 1 star for the lack of cleanliness which completely tainted the enjoyment of dining! After we ordered I noticed something on the tip on the syrup container, which must have been left by the previous patron and then after my food arrived I went to pick up the pepper shaker and it almost slipped out of my hand! It was covered in grease from what I assumed was bacon grease because I even had a remnant left on my finger! I have dined previously at this location many times but I don't believe I will be returning. I feel the quality of dining has definitely gone down! The walls even between the booths in the middle appeared to be dirty, I could visibly see this due to the reflection of the sun coming in. 4 friends and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. We were let know that there were 2 people hosting and serving, so we figured that it would take a long time for our food to come out. It certainly did. Our server was extremely kind and appreciative of our patience but the service from Denny's itself was horrible and I would never recommend going to this location. We waited just under an hour for our food to come out after ordering. read more

Either it was her first day or week or idk but we put in our order, and sat there for an HOUR while people who came in AFTER us were receiving their orders and we didn't even get a check up or anything. Denny's pumpkin pancakes are better than Ihops. Who'd a thunk it? I love me some pumpkin pancakes and don't know why they aren't offered 12 months out of the year. They really are my only pumpkin vice this time of year. On our way back from the RenFest we were hungry. Not knowing any of the Mom and Pop places along 1488 we opted for breakfast for dinner at Denny's. As Denny's go this one was very clean. No dirty tables or food on the floor. Service was very pleasant and attentive. The place was not very busy at 7 on a Sunday evening. But even if it had been there were three wait staff on the clock. Food was your basic Denny's. It's hard to mess up breakfast and this place did not. My pumpkin pancake breakfast combo was just $6.99. Two eggs, tasty hashbrowns, a couple slices of bacon (not overcooked!) and two huge pumpkin pancakes with pumpkin whipped cream. Yum and what a deal! Sure I'd stop here again on the way home from RenFest. In fact it may become a new tradition for me on this annual road trip. read more

We pick this Denny's for the best near the Woodlands! Jessica is AMAZING.... Always correct with our order and very friendly and efficient. No surprise though, because her station is always packed. I'm so sad that this restaurant is this bad. Have tried several times but am done. 1-1/2 hours waiting for a grand slam. Missing the pancakes and meats on two orders. Server never appeared to refill coffee and when we finally got M. attention she only poured half a cup and left. Other patrons having trouble getting drinks near us as well. Parts of two orders put together on a seperate plate for us to decide who they belonged to. Got the check immediately after part of order delivered. Took several reminders and 20 more min later to get the rest of the parts of the order. I've been eating at Denny's since I was a kid. I've been to many of them over the years. Today, Christmas Day I chose to visit this location. I've been here a handful of times over the years and today it is a pleasure to report that the service and food was truly exceptional. From the warm greeting I was offered by the smiling staff to the courteous young gentleman who sat me. My server is clearly a master of his craft and executed a melodic and sophisticated delivery of individual service. Truly awesome. The wait staff are joyful and sincerely enjoying the company of one another and the customers. I'm waiting for my food as I write this and I already know it's quality will be at the same level of service I've received from the moment I walked in. This location has had more downs than ups. I wish to this Denny's on Christmas Day. I wish you to make this day the beginning of a positive turnaround and that everyday becomes Christmas Day at Denny's. read more

Came into this Denny's at 11:15pm. Not very crowded. No one to seat us. Cashier said pick anywhere you want to sit that's clean and I will be right with you. 2 other parties came in after us and were seated and waited on. We waited for 10 minutes and no one ever came. On the way out my wife told the cashier and the cashier looked at her, irritated and shrugged. Unfortunate customer service is no longer of any concern for this Denny's. read more
