If you like being ignored, your food cold then this is the place to go. This Denny's on North Davis Hwy, Pensacola is the "worse" I have ever been in. I understand now why the parking lot is always empty. I always use to enjoy Denny's for their wide choice on the menu which now has been cut noticeably in half. My experience with this "no one cares " Denny's has convinced me that my better option is sticking with IHop. EXTREMELY Rude, disheveled, always-complaining in a loud voice server. bare-handed handling of food, no gloves worn by employees. Masks worn under chins not over mouths and noses. Not safe in this pandemic. This trip, my name didn't match the name on the online order. The online order place used my email name, not my given name. Server ranted on and on about how if the names don't match she's not giving the order. This was after I'd cleared up the confusion and given the "right" name. She was loudly proclaiming this to customers seated at a table eating. Rather than speak to me, a few feet away, she was doing a very very childish and excessively aggressive and rude thing, by taking her problem to customers who had nothing to do with me or my order. This was after the confusion had been cleared up. This was after she carried my order around, setting it down in different places, looking at me, then moving it. This was after she'd gotten it wrong, and had to correct it. This was after we'd cleared up the name problem. I've been there numerous times in these past few decades. And Denny's used to be a decent place. Now it's a garbage heap in more ways than one. They don't seem to keep good people there. They remodeled it, but it's still not clean, not cheery, not comfortable. This server, the rude one, should not be working with the public in any capacity. The server is never pleasant, always complaining. I talked with a man, allegedly the manager, who'd let it go on, told him that was not right at all, and that they could keep that salad. I went back online, got my money back. Denny's obviously didn't think my business was worth even being halfway decent to me for. So they aren't getting my business any more. PS. Dear Server: My mama taught me servers work very hard, because she was one...I learned to always tip good. So, rude server, you lost out on a tip that was equal to the price of the salad. 10.00. For a to go order. No cleaning up, no having to bring more drinks.. Just hand over the order. But no. You wanted to humiliate someone, make them feel small, take all your bad feelings out on someone, because apparently that's the only thing that makes you feel like a somebody. Poor food, undrinkable coffee, and small portions! I took my two little girls here last week for brunch, we all ordered items from the breakfast menu. Our bread (which was biscuit, English muffin, and toast) was brought to the table cold and hard AFTER we had finished our other food. I calmly paid $31 plus $5 tip for three tiny breakfasts and left there still hungry and very disappointed. It would have been a better experience to go to McDonald's! read more

I love Denny's- had I read the reviews I would have avoided this location- and so should you. I arrived approximately 4:30P on a Saturday afternoon. I was quickly seated by a nice gentleman at the door. At first he asked me if I was with Uber Eats. I replied no- I'm here to eat- booth for one please. I was seated in a booth, not clean. I sat in the booth. 10 minutes. No one came to me. There were 2 other tables there, and a family came in AFTER me and were already being assisted. It was not busy. I couldn't understand. I was shocked by this, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Waited longer. Guy who seated me came back and took my drink order and gave the waitress a weird look. She would not make eye contact with me. I ordered water with no ice, my usual beverage. I was ready to place my order. No one came back to take my order. I couldn't believe the waitress was totally ghosting my table. I feel this was discriminatory, and appears to be a common occurrence from reading the reviews from this Denny's. Avoid this Denny's. Went for our biweekly family lunch. 12:50 on a Sunday, so not a peak time. We were greeted by a very confused hostess who handed us our menus and walked off. Another employee approached and pointed to where we should sitand walked off. I work down the road from Denny's and we order about once or twice a month. well i believe today will be the last time i order. There always seems to be a problem with every order. Either its wrong, missing something etc. Today i ordered the grill chicken wraps.. Well when i got there they were fried, so they had to remake the order, when i got back to my office i opened the food and no surprise, the tortilla was hard, lettuce was burned and the chicken.... hum....it was literally a chunk of chicken in a ball... the food is great it has great flavor and good portions its just the service and ability to make a correct order is lacking. read more

The shake seemed small, and the season fries should have been called seasoned diced potatoes. Went with a group of friends for a late night dinner. Most of us got the Super Duper Slam. The waitress was super nice! The only complaint that I have, was about the eggs. I stayed at a hotel in the area which gave a 15% discount off at Denny's (so I thought). When it came time to pay, I was given 10% off instead so I said something. The manager told me that the discount was wrong on the coupon. Last I checked, the customer was always right. Furthermore, they put on the receipt that I was staying at the hotel next door which only gets 10%. I corrected her and she would not change it. Principle goes a long way with me people! Came here for breakfast while on our way to Orlando, Florida. We saw that it was across the street from our hotel and that was a plus. It was crowded but the wait was not too long.
