No slider that was the reason we went, so we sat there and when we ordered everything single thing we asked for they were out of! We ended up eating a salad. I've been going here almost every Tuesday for the past 12. I grown to know the work staff rather well. But my favorite waitress and good friend is Lisa. She is very nice to talk with and keen to remember customers needs and wants. The entire staff are always friendly and in this day and age means a lot. BTW the food is quite good read more

My wife and I went to Dennys in Prescott Valley, Arizona for lunch and thought we'd try out their "$2,$4,$6,$8," menu. Imagine our disappointment when we found out it was not the old 2,4,6,8, menu, but an "add on" menu. You could "add" the smaller meal to your order If so desired. That's false advertising in my book. Also, the restaurant was so minimally staffed, we had to wait for the cashier to check out the line of customers before we could be seated. We were patient and understanding. We asked for a table and were told the wait staff was no longer being seated in that section and directed us to the booth section which had an unoccupied table. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but, when I asked for a slight change on my order, it did not get to the cook. I let it pass. Towards the ed of the meal, the waitress came by and asked my wife if she wanted a coffee refill and my wife said " no thanks, I'm good". The waitress then proceeded to fill her coffee. We have been going to Dennys for over 30 years and have never seen such inefficiency. The food has always been good, but, the corporation seems more focused on profits than customer service. We gave this Denny's 5 stars because they are awesome in every way. The food is always good, the service is always great and the manager and owner are doing things right here. However, we are sorry to say that we will not be able visit as often as we have before today since they just came out with a new menu this morning and everything is now more expensive and they took away a breakfast favorite so they could make more money. Every Friday my family and I go out to eat (we call it family dinner night) and a place we go to at least once a month is Denny's because my uncle is gluten free and they have a lot of good options for him. How ever when we have been going lately it's not always the best service. Until today when we got Kayla, she was truly amazing, and we made sure to tell her. She made sure all of our drinks never went empty. If she had bad news for us she told us with sensarity in her voice and a smile on her face. This is the Denny's that is the exception to the rule. Not only were the bathrooms immaculate, but tables had no sticky syrup on them. An employee was disinfecting every open table. Floors had little to no crumbs. Windows all immaculate. Service was professional and competent. Food was VERY good and a huge step up from what I am used to at Denny's. We had the pumpkin pecan pancakes and my friend had the salmon dinner. Whoever runs this one deserves a lot of credit. Passed by this Denny's for seven years without stopping because I never liked Denny's in California. They are all filthy with horrible food, but that is there...not here. I will be back for sure. I have been to several Dennys in several states. This order was the worst! I ordered eggs over easy. They were over cooked. The English muffin was cold. The butter wouldn't even melt. 4 extra sausages-2 were burnt. Like they were previously cooked and burned during reheat. The 6 slices of bacon- 3 were regular bacon and 3 looked and tasted like fake bacon. The French toast was cold. I couldn't even eat it. The server said she brought it right out. We have come to Denny's several times the food is always hot and great our server Julia is also amazing friendly on top of things and always has a smile on her face. There was a big issue today as we were checking out that made us both uncomfortable and sorry for the manager who I do not know his name was on duty. There is another server I am not sure if her name is Susie or serenity I cannot remember at the moment but when we come I always ask not to sit in her section she is always so unfriendly and curt. Today as we were checking out the manager on duty was trying so hard ask her for help and the way that she talked to him was disgusting and unprofessional. Why this woman is still there is beyond me. We have complained about her several times and nothing seems to happen. I applaud the manager as he kept his cool with the way she talked to him I don't think I could have been so calm and collected he was very professional and continue to do an amazing job I know that the restaurant business can be stressful especially when it is busy but this man deserves a raise for putting up with crap from a disrespectful and rude server they need to do something about her it is not okay to make us feel as uncomfortable as we were and that poor man should not have to put up with that kind of attitude if you go to Denny's in Prescott make sure that you do not ask for this woman she needs to go Julia is amazing ask for her she will take care of you wonderfully every time. read more

I would just like to give a shout out to the Denny's in Prescott Valley. I frequent it often and I've never had a bad experience with either management or waitresses or the cleanliness of this establishment. The manager that I am most familiar with is named John, and he's always been very cordial and seems to interact very well with his employees. They're cooks and their waitresses work hard as does their bussers and they get it done whether they're busy or not. I would like to point out one specific waitress named Kimberly, who served me and a friend of mine last week. My friend and I stopped in for breakfast and I ordered the grand slam that has essentially everything that you could want for breakfast. My waitress Kimberly, was on top of the coffee and asking how we were doing and things like that, but what caught me off guard was that when it came to the point where I was getting ready to eat my pancakes, She asked me if I would like to have them warmed up. I am 64 years old and in my entire life have never had anybody from any restaurant or any waitress ever ask if I wanted my pancakes warmed up. She is an amazing waitress who is very considerate, and on top of her game when it comes to serving. For Denny's, I myself would give this a five-star rating, but her service that day was stellar and I just want to point out that she did stand out above and beyond what I am used to when it comes to restaurants in my everyday life. My wife and I stopped by Denny's at 1 pm today Jan 20, 2020. I wanted to order their advertised sirloin steak and eggs for $8.99. The waitress refused to take the order saying, "offer not at this location." I showed her a printout of the offer with their location on it (7925 E Hwy 69 Prescott Valley, AZ 86312). She still refused the order. Finally she went to talk to the manager and after 10 minutes returned and said they will honor the advertised breakfast. Finally after 20 minutes the breakfast arrived, but the steak was watery, mushy and non-editable. Management was advised but did nothing to remedy the complaint. I like going here for breakfast and sometime for dinner. Prices are reasonable and service normally very good. Open 24 hours. Waitresses are very friendly with a great attitude. We are full-time RV'ers and very mobile. We typically do not eat anything but the occasional breakfast or lunch at Denny's unless there are just no other choices for dinner. The dinner entrees we've tried in the past were too reminiscent of cafeteria foods. We were in the mood for a fish fry, and someone local recommended the Denny's here in Prescott Valley, not only for the price, but the quality as well... They have fish fry specials every Wednesday and Friday, so we rolled the dice and took a chance... Okay, so I have to eat a little crow here... It was really very, very good. The meet, seat, and greet was friendly and fast. Loretta got us seated right away. Our server, Cody, appeared in an instant with menus and took our drink orders. He was back within minutes with those and took our all-you-can-eat fish dinner orders. The food arrived quickly. I was expecting those greasy frozen, formed "hockey puck" fish fillets and was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually very nicely portioned and battered chunks of cod. Piping hot, not the least bit greasy, and very nicely seasoned. For an extra $2.99 you could add a drink and dessert to the $9.99 special, which we did. Also included were a choice of soup or salad, choice of 4 potato styles, and coleslaw. My wife had the clam chowder, which she said was excellent, as was my salad, with dressing in a separate little dish... The coleslaw was excellent and not overly sugary sweet like most are and the french fries were great as was my baked potato, which was fresh - not some over done oven relic. The portions were very generous... We were so full we had to get the coconut cream pie to go, and we were even offered a beverage to go as well, at no extra charge. Lastly, the service was exceptional - very friendly and attentive. It's clear the wait staff in this restaurant work very well as a team... Other servers even replenished our drinks while taking care of their own customers. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the dining experience here in Prescott Valley Denny's... Service was excellent and there wasn't a very long wait for our food. My boyfriend and I both got the grand slam breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes and everything was as we ordered. Their pancakes were delicious! When it came to my water glass though, there was a lipstick stain from a previous customer on the rim. I felt uneasy drinking my water the rest of the visit. We waited over 15 minutes after finishing our food for our bill when we needed to leave because of an emergency. We even stacked up our plates after a while and received no attention from the waitresses. Now that was unacceptable service. read more

We are 2 senior women who are new to the Prescott Valley area. We wanted to try the Prescott Valley Dennys on Route 69 for an early breakfast recently. Upon arrival we were cheerfully greeted by the hostess, Faith. What a delightful way to start our breakfast experience!! I'm sorry we failed to get the name of our waitress but she, too, was charming, prompt with meeting our needs and courteous. Breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was packed. Ordered pumpkin pancakes with pumpkin spice cream and a coffee. My wife ordered a veggie omelette . The pancakes were very good and fluffy. The pumpkin spice cream had been refrigerated therefore making the pancakes cool off quickly. The coffee was gross. Tasted of a cheap brand. Refills were available but why drink this disgusting stuff. The veggie omelette had an aftertaste of something smoky. Sure enough they not only cooked the veggies with bacon the omelette had bacon pieces in it. This is unacceptable for a vegetarian. Wait time was a bit long as two waitresses at the register ignored us nor greeted us as they were working on sales report. It was an okay experience. Nice waitress, slow to refill my coffee. Doug liked his Cold Brew Coffee. Grand Slam was typical breakfast food. My pancakes were kind of chewy, sausage link was very mild, hash brown potatoes were not greasy as before and had a much better taste, eggs were perfectly cooked over medium.
