Came in because we had free pancakes with the Stealz app and I really wish we just got them to go. As soon as we ordered our drinks I didn't receive mine until well after the appetizer came out. We ordered pancake puppies which were pretty hard to eat. They took a while to come out, but it was in the morning and pretty busy. The waitress didn't write down our order and of course it came out wrong. Service was kind of awkward, left a 20% tip but honestly the service didn't compliment it. She wasn't very attentive and when she was at the table it was just strange. She was also training someone so you would think that as a trainer she would be doing her very best! No more Denny's for us, not because of service per-say, but the food plus atmosphere just doesn't do justice for me. read more

Too bad that this Denny's has the most consistently WORST service. Food is great. I blame management. Waitresses are slow rude and expect tips therefore don't care. This place actually has a bar, which is weird because who would go to a diner to drink? Anyways, service is so slow and the servers complain about everything loud enough that you can hear them. Our server actually took our order, repeated it back to us, and still brought me the incorrect food. Then she had the nerve to sit it in front of me and say nothing, even though it was clearly NOT what I ordered, and then walked away and never fixed it. When the check came what I ordered was correctly listed on it... maybe my server couldn't read? I don't know. If you're starving, drunk, and it's exceptionally late then this is the only situation in which you should consider coming here. read more

I'm not sure if management is cutting corners on payroll by only having one cook on for breakfast, but waiting nearly an hour for a mediocre meal is beyond ridiculous. Shame on me for staying and not walking out after the first half hour. And double shame on me for not calling management over when the server got rude when I said it was nearly an hour wait. If you insist on eating here, bring a book to read because you will be here a while. read more

Terrible experience today with a to-go order. Complete chaos the entire time: hostess was too busy flirting with the cooks, so there was a line of people waiting to be seated. There were no clean tables for them to sit at because the young guy that was supposed to be doing that was too busy screwing up food. The young guy that brought out our food, the one that was supposed to be cleaning tables, instead brought out our food, swinging it all around, as if there were not boxes of food that could spill out or juices from various entrees that wouldn't end up all over the bag. He did this without checking the order, so I checked it and of course it was wrong. Took it back and they checked and fixed it. We finally made it out of there 40 minutes later (Mind you, I ordered online prior to us arriving) and ate our food. My pancakes (That they originally messed up) have made me sick since eating them. Visited for a birthday breakfast. Have not been to Denny's for years, but thought I would give them another chance. VERY disappointed! Upon arrival we registered with hostess. After about a few mins of waiting I started noticing how inefficiently this place was managed. I counted about 30 people waiting for a table. Looked around and saw 6 tables that were empty. Some sat empty for the 30 minutes we waited (before leaving). About 5 more were vacated and were never cleaned the entire time we were there. Decided to walk towards the back and saw another room with over 10 tables - not being used. While back there, a table actually complained to me that they were tired of waiting for service. Wow! Restaurant business is about turnover to be profitable. This place could not turn over a napkin with any efficiency!!! Location needs to hire some staff as they had enough tables for 50 people, while 30 or more waited for half hour (or more) - We finally walked out as I could tell it would be probably an hour to get a seat, then how much more of a wait to get service. Me and my boyfriend come here all of the time we love the food! It's excellent service most of the time, but unfortunately when i left tonight i noticed sticky syrup all over the back of my legs. Had breakfast this Sat morning. Ordered coffee with creamer and sweetner while I decided on the food. Coffee mug had coffee spills all aronf it. The milk for coffee was in a small water glass that looked dirty. Decided to use the sweetner only. Could not stir the coffee since the silverware was brought with food. Toast was part of the meal and was brought after I had half eaten the "bland" omelet. This reminds me why I do not eat at Denny's. read more

Went this evening with family.. I ordered the grand slam slugger, for those who aren't too familiar with it, the platter comes with two choices of meats, two drinks, eggs, hash-browns, and a stack of pancakes. After about 15 minutes of waiting, my meal finally came out, the meal was warm like it had been sitting for a while and the pancakes were freezing cold. Certainly I wasn't happy, and I politely asked to have the meal replaced. With attitude the server took my plate back to the kitchen and came back a short time after. Upon receiving the "fresh" plate, I could instantly tell I still wasn't being served a fresh meal. Hash-browns were burnt and cold, eggs were cold, and the pancakes were still cold. It's such a shame, my father and I used to go to Denny's together all the time and it was one of my favorite places to go as a kid.. Cannot honestly say the same now.. Here we go! The front of the restaurant is a hot mess. Although the place is rarely ever packed, unlike when it first opened, one will wait about 5-10mins before being acknowledged or seated. With that being said, it is a typical chain restaurant. The servers usually make up for the long wait and the food comes out in standard chain restaurant time. I should know I worked as a server throughout my high school and college career. The breakfast is good and especially for the price. Let's not forget that kids eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays with a purchase of an adult entree. read more

This place is decent but the waitress ( Dina ) we had for the past two visits was terrible. It took 45 minutes after ordering to receive our grits and egg breakfast . The waitress only had 1 other table and it had to be brought to the management's attention in order to even get a rush on our food. Very disappointing. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Absolutely awful all six times we went. Shameful we gave them so many tries, I know. But here's the last experience we had. We waited a bit too long to get seated, and once we were we were placed with a waitress who asked for our drinks and left. We waited over 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and when they finally did the drinks we asked to be without ice carelessly came loaded with it. She then gave us attitude for asking for new drinks and took entirely too long to fill the new drinks. As we waited we noticed that they only had two cooks in the kitchen, which was probably why our food took so incredibly long! When they brought our food two of the orders were wrong, and the servers were anything but prompt in getting us the food we asked for. By the time they brought the correct food our meals were already nearly eaten, so we refused the food and asked for our bill. We then found out that they had individually charged for everything, including refills and the food we didn't get! For that reason the bill was a whopping $60 for three people to eat (!), and the manager had the audacity to tell us we couldn't take our itemized receipt out of the store! This Denny's was not only awful in the experience, but also comes off as incredibly shady to me. The manager was unnaturally reserved and reluctant to help with disputes and copped an attitude when we asked to see our receipt. Why on Earth are we not allowed to have the customer receipt for food we paid for? I don't trust this place at all. It smells far too fishy for my liking. read more

Me & my boyfriend come to this Denny's at least once a week for brunch. We normally have angel or Jessica who are both awesome & very sweet! Today we had Kevin whom seemed to be in a bad mood off gate. I asked for coffee & my boyfriend asked for juice. He brings out a try with them both on it. Gives my boyfriend his juice & walks on to the next table without giving me my coffee. My boyfriend makes a comment "didn't you order coffee?" Kevin then gives me my coffee & after that he pays us no attention & acts if we are a bother to him. Once he slammed the maple syrup on the table without saying a word to us after we said thank you that was it for me. I made a comment "he's not getting tip." I was over being treated rudely when I had done nothing wrong. I then over hear him at the serving station saying "oh your not gonna tip me? I don't give a shit." My boyfriend hears this & goes over to ask him if we did something wrong. He says he was talking about another table. He then tells him not to come at him like that. Once my boyfriend sits back down I hear talking again & telling a female co worker what the discussion between my boyfriend & him were & I heard him call him a punk. At this point I had it & let ken the manager on duty know he was rude. Kevin tells ken he was talking about another co workers boyfriend. Therefore Kevin's stories do not add up. I really enjoyed coming here & now we have to find another brunch place because of a rude server. I am a server myself & it is not okay to ever talk about tables where EVERYONE can hear you its server 101. On top of everything the food was not as good as it usually is. the place was not busy and we were seated and waited on quickly. she placed our order immediately after we gave it to her and then we waited. i saw our waitress go to the kitchen asking about our food several times during our 20 minute wait. i had ordered the steak "skillet" meal. when it finally arrived, the potatoes had no seasoning at all and were so dry and overcooked i had to cut them with a knife. it was like eating small pieces of cardboard. the "steak" was as hard and as tough as a manhole cover. there was a small blob of "gravy" on top. the gravy was kinda tasty, but since the (apparent) goal of the meal was to make the worst meal one can make, they made sure not to use too much of it. my friends food, eggs, sausage, pancakes, was also overcooked and tasteless. he ate some of it, but it was so bad he decided to just eat his toast, although, it was burned. one of the cooks had time to come out and flirt up the waitstaff. too bad he wasn't interested in cooking a decent meal instead. there was a lot of staff there, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. which was impressive, although no one was cleaning the floor which was so slippery i nearly fell just walking to my seat. my dogs enjoyed the food when i brought it home to them, but that's because they are dogs and will happily eat anything, even this crap. i told my friend to bop me on the head if i ever suggest we go to this restaurant again. ugh. read more

Haven't had this bad of service in a very long time. Had to ask our server, Kevin 3 times for my husbands coffee and not once did he apologize. He brought our food out before he brought the coffee. Then he never came to check to see if we needed anything else. When we were finished eating we waited atleast 20 minutes for him to bring the check and when he finally brought it he just laid it on the table and walked away. I've been a server before I know how the job works I know it can be stressful when it's busy (it wasn't busy) and that kind of behavior is beyond unacceptable. When I went to the counter to pay I stood there with my squirmy one year old on my hip waiting for what seemed like forever for someone to take my money for the service that I felt I should not have been paying for. I even walked to the front door to hand my husband our child so he could put her in the car and was so tempted to just keep walking because nobody working there would've noticed anyway. As I was walking back to the counter I was greeted by the hostess as if I wasn't already there and I told her I just needed to pay for my bill. Never again will we go to this place.
