I ordered the Everyday Value Slam, a side of hash browns, and an iced tea. This is my third or fourth time at a Denny's establishment, but my first time at this location. I came at around 8am and it was not busy. Alicia was my server and she provided incredible service. I was taken care of from the moment I stepped in and the moment I left. She is an example of the reason why I provide a decent tip. The vibe was quaint and nice considering I have been in this city so long but still saw it differently through this Denny's location. Went here at 3ish am. The inside is brand new and the decor is very nice, love the Rosemead sign. Server was friendly and did an awesome job for being new/day 2 of working. Boyfriend got the sampler, the boneless chicken and mozzarella was delicious. I had the breakfast slam, the biscuit and gravy is a must have because they give you sausage with the gravy! Went in to place a to go order, I got the French toast slam and added hash browns. The hash browns were $4.49 . I get my order And all my food portions was the size of a kids meals. Like you charged me $4.49 for a small portion of hash browns. Like terrible for the price of food you would think the food portions would match . read more

We patiently awaited the opening of this Denny's....and we're not disappointed! We've been here three times for breakfast and lunch and whoever is in the kitchen is doing a fabulous job! Our server, Ray, has been terrific, as well as all the young ladies on the staff! Always liked the bright, airiness of the old Carrows. They did a great job of remodeling. On 8/30/24 1:26PM , I placed an delivery order from the Dennys location at; 1021 San Gabriel Blvd Rosemead CA 91770 Restaurant ID#9681 The situation we are complaining about today is that we ordered Blueberry And Strawberry Pancakes. However, when the order arrived we received plain ole pancakes. Upset about the situation, we paid an extra 6$ for what we wanted and we did not receive that, I felt as if they knew what we ordered and they kept the money. How hard could it be for the cooks to read the order ticket and fulfill it successfully? Upset at the situation, we called the manager just to inform them that the cooks aren't doing their job correctly. Our( me and my husbands) intent for the phone call was only to inform management about the cooks screwing up so this won't happen again. I work in corporate for the taco bell office so these kind of things really aggravate me and should be addressed and handled correctly. When calling the store, the phones were very staticky, and simply just not working, I had to say hello over 10x to the team member and she said hello about 10x as well trying to get the call to connect, so I got louder " HELLLOOOOOOO? IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PHONE" now all of a sudden, the phone you can hear clear and the team member Samantha says verry aggressively " hold up WTF, U DON'T GOTTA TALK TO ME LIKE THAT !!" and she hangs up ???????????? its not my fault that your phones are messed up!!! Even so, if I'm calling as an upset customer because MY order is wrong, it is very unprofessional for her to reciprocate that same energy in return, instead of assuring me she will fix the problem, and that her phones are messed up, and just being apologetic to a loyal customer. Instead we did not receive that, we called back to speak to a manager, and manager Marissa answered the phone. I asked her " why are your team members answering the phones so aggressively, obviously they behave like this all the time if she was so comfortable in snapping so easily. You know what Marissa did ? started laughing. I said " oh wow what is funny here on my messed up order" she continued to laugh. So I simply hung up, and headed down to the store, wasting gas, time , and money smh. When arriving to the store I asked who was answering the phones and Samantha said " ME , ME WASSUP WASSUP CASUE WHO ARE YOU TO YEELL AT ME ON THE PHONE" ? First of all, I couldn't hear you !! She was just Very ghetto, very unprofessional, like she was ready to fight me. I proceeded to tell her the way she handled the phone call was very unprofessional and why would she behave like that? She walks my way very intimidating yelling... the manager Marissa comes out and is STILL LAUGHING ABOUT THE WHOLE SITUATION !! I told her this is not a funny situation that we had to drive 10 miles for an order that YOU GUYS messed up, Marissa says " oh wow, this is just how I am, I laugh at things! Haha" my thing with this restaurant is there could have been more concern, more common decency, more assurance that my problem will be fixed. I can tell Marissa condemns this behavior of her employees because, somewhat, Marissa gave us that same attitude. Working in corporate I take these kind of customer complaints very seriously being that customers make our businesses, customers are 100% always right because we want loyal customers to always come back and return, and not take their business to the competition. Because of this I will not be visiting Dennys any longer and I am now deactivating my Dennys Rewards program account as well. If Samantha is easily to get angry, or upset, then she should not be designated to be answering the phones, so so disappointed with Dennys. Please address this situation and the only way I will ever return to any Dennys will be if Samantha is indeed fired. read more

The food was good the service was ok but the reason why I would not go back is because they over charged us!!! When I got the check I didn't pay attention and just paid!!! So then when we get home I start looking a the receipt and find out they changed us an order of pancakes we didn't order!!! read more
