Happy hour menu awesome! The loaded fries and hot dog were very creative. The bistro was also pleasant and calm.

Everything was delicious. The lobster roll comes with regular fries or seasoned fries. We had seasoned fries. The pan roast comes with your choice of spicy level. Depending on your taste, you can have it very spicy or none at all. The flavor of the pan roast was very good. I had mine medium spicy level. If it is too spicy, you cannot get the real taste of the dish. The restaurant is nice and clean. Service staff were friendly. This place is located at a very busy plaza where there are many restaurants. There is underground parking but it can be a problem during peak hours.

Creamy and tomato-y. Shrimp was cooked well but the mussels were a bit overcooked. Would probably get the shrimp one next time instead of house specialty. Shrimp and grits: shrimp was overcooked, grits were fine. Super cheesy! Oyster poboy: pretty good. Oyster isn't my first choice but it was done well. Came with fries but we upgraded to the clam chowder. It was only ok. Chowda tots: fries and tots were very crispy, cooked perfectly. Toppings though made it more like a salsa or loaded potato. Nothing about it felt like chowder.

Exceptional service and great food - Bryan V. made our night!…read moreWe had an outstanding experience at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse thanks to our server Bryan V. From the moment we sat down he was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever being overbearing. He made excellent menu recommendations, checked on us at just the right times, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent as always -- we especially loved the deep dish pizza and the Pizookie for dessert. But what truly elevated the evening was Bryan's service. He has a natural ability to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. Servers like him are the reason we keep coming back. Highly recommend going to this BJ's and specifically asking for Bryan V. if you get the chance. He is a standout!

From the initial walk up, the hostess greeted us with smiles, and were very polite and quick to sit us down. The waiter, very friendly, big smile, on top of it. When we walked out, random employees who were not the hostess, not our waiter, wished us a good night and thanked us for coming. What didn't work, the floors were extremely greasy to the point where I was afraid I was going to fall and I was in tennis shoes. That just made me think that the restaurant was dirty. Now I've been going to BJ's for a long time. Primarily the one in Cerritos, but I usually order the spaghetti dinner, or their pizza. We ordered the BJs combo pizza and I will take full responsibility for not speaking up, but when the pizza was brought out, you can tell it was overcooked. The pepperoni had lost color, it was all shriveled up, the sides of the deep dish were rock hard. It was so bad that I tried to cut it up in little pieces to take it down, but I still scraped the top of my mouth and I'm paying for it today. We didn't even take our pizza to go, we just left it behind. I wish I would've taken photos, but I hadn't seen my friend in a long time and we were deep in conversation and both felt like the pizza was disappointing. I'm sure it was just a one off, but definitely first impression on food was not great.

I asked if it was possible to switch my order, and the staff member helping me was incredibly kind and accommodating. They had no problem swapping the order for me, and their friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. I ended up trying the Ube Coconut Cloud cold drink, and it was absolutely amazing--hands down one of the best specialty drinks I've had. It was perfectly balanced, creamy, refreshing, and not overly sweet. I can already tell I'll be coming back just for that drink! Excellent customer service, delicious drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for going the extra mile to make my visit such a positive one!

Service: The service is pretty straightforward and hands-off. You order and pay first, then find a seat. They bring the food out to you and clear the plates afterward. Nothing overly attentive or personal, but everything was efficient and everyone seemed to be doing their part. Food: Chicken Katsu Curry with 2 Eggs ($19): The portion was generous and definitely enough for a full meal. The eggs weren't seasoned, but you can easily add salt to your liking. The chicken was a little on the dry side, though the breading was nicely coated and crispy. Overall, nothing particularly stood out, but it was still a solid and satisfying dish. Ube Pancake ($20): As mentioned, the portions here are pretty big! The ube pancake was large enough to comfortably split between four people. It was a fun option to share, especially if you're looking to try a few different things.
