I had to have the smokehouse macaroni and cheese in order of the side salad. Denny's makes really good delicious food today. I was treating myself. The one thing I've been stacking up on our rewards. Service was good and I gotta say despite it being very busy when we went, the waiter was very attentive. Overall, the food was solid! You can't go wrong with a breakfast meal. The only ick I had was that the utensils were dirty. Two forks had food remnants left on them. Wanted to give this new location a try. Looked over the menu several times to decide on a winner. Decided on the Mac N Brisket Skillet as it looked a bit unusual. The Mac was ok, the brisket was a bit dry on the inside ( a side of bbq sauce would help), and the onion rings were ok. The service was ok (Yesica M). Finally! A restaurant that took over Carrows, which has been closed for years. It's exciting to have a diner 24/7 nearby again! Came on a Sunday with lots of tables available. Service was great and food came quick. You can tell the waitress was still very new to the ordering system so she took a minute inputting our orders. The menu is very extensive! The zesty nachos was just as amazing as it was before. It has always been a favorite of mine. The country fried steak & eggs were good too! This location has been closed since Covid, which was a shame since it's only a minute from my house. Now that it has been rebranded Denny's, I can finally eat here again! The outer appearance is very clean and brand new, and I love the red color. When we walked in, Mom and I were greeted wholeheartedly by pretty much the entire workforce. We were promptly seated and our orders taken. Mom got the super bird with onion rings and me the avocado bacon burger with seasoned fries. It was huge in size, and fries were nice and crisp. We were visited by multiple servers and even the manager, asking how our meal was. Service was impeccable. I'm looking forward to many more visits! read more

We have had one of our own for decades, but this new one in Rosemead is a great option when the restaurants at the mall have 30 mins or more waits. CLEANEST RESTROOM AWARD Had to go potty while driving on the 60 and pulled into this Denny's. I was so impressed with how CLEAN it was I had to come here and write a review Their was spotless, no trash crap on the floor, soap and sink working perfectly and it had air freshener or something because it didn't stink in there! LOL We have all seen horror restrooms from hell at McDonald's or Target so gotta give the workers here their props. Bravo to the employees and managers here! It's Dennys and to my surprise the service was impeccable. Isabel is so sweet and accommodating. I came in and sat at the counter. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. They charged my card twice, said oh first one didn't go through , two days later I check my account and it did go through both charges. Now I have to deal with my bank on getting money back. Manager said this happens often so whatever they are doing is charging people twice! I don't blame the workers, but I would say it's management to ensure operations. Breakfast is easy. Give a smile and ensure coffee is refilled.
