Not sure I'd ever come back here. It wasn't busy but yet the service was extremely slow. Pancakes were below average. Didn't like the food or service

My friend and I love meeting for breakfast here for so many reasons. The setting is relaxed and we don't feel rushed at all. Staff is super friendly and service is great. They are so accommodating with our many many modifications and everything comes out fresh, hot, and, delicious.

Great location and customer service. This restaurant is right off of the freeway. Plenty of parking as well. It was decked out for Valentine's Day. They did a great job with the casual and decorative atmosphere,( I almost forgot Valentine's Day is tomorrow.. Thanks for the reminder Denny's! Our server was attentive and kept us happy. I ordered a Denny's slam that included brioche french toast, eggs and apple wood bacon. It was savory and delicious. A hot cup of coffee rounded out the meal. My favorite was the brioche french toast. I'd order it again.

For Mom's special day, stop by a classic Diner, Denny's, for classic hearty eats, like their sizzling skillet with chicken, peppers and a secret sauce, or their banana chocolate chip pancakes! all their eats are stellar and filling, lots of seating, open 24/7.

Nothing wrong with this meal. I come to denny's a lot when i'm on travel because I can always get a nice clean burger that tastes great with the toppings I really like. This location was clean, not too busy for the time of evening that I visited and the server was very friendly and timely with his service. I appreciate a nice warm meal expertly prepared

Maybe she is nicer once you get to know her or you are a regular but I felt a little off putted and didn't want to interact with her due to this. Over all I had a good experience, I had the meatballs with marinara and oh my goodness!! I could eat that all day! The tater tots were perfectly crispy and they give you the option of ranch, ketchup, or Buffalo sauce which I appreciated! The drinks were flavorful and make perfectly. I would come back but not to sit at the bar.

My experience yesterday evening was absolutely opposite. We were seated at a large round table in the corner at the front of the restaurant. We were 11 seated at this great round table. It was perfect because we could talk with anyone at the table, and see each other. Our server, Hunter was fantastic! Friendly and while waiting other tables she was able to cater to our needs just as well and as fast. She did have another person checking on us when Hunter was not at our table. I did not get her name. Tonight it was hopping with other gatherings taking place. There are TV's lined along the upper half of the wall with all kinds of sports happening being televised. The room is very open with great outdoor seating off to the side of the restaurant. Looked like comfortable seating too. A few of us ladies order appetizers to share. When the platters arrived they were placed on the large lazy Susan in the middle of the table. Appetizers shared: Sampler plate: Gyoza, Shrimp Tempura, Spring Rolls and Cream Cheese Wontons Meatballs Wings Margherita Flatbread Hummus Flatbread My dinner was: PSH Chicken Penne Pasta My drinks: Espresso Martini and Benoit Dearg "red Beer (Barley & Sword Brewery) Red Ale-Irish My Dessert: Beignets to share and Affogato Appetizers were great. Though I did not get to try the meatballs, I was able to enjoy bites of the sampler plate. With the wings I requested the mild sauces to be off to the side. Thank goodness! They were spicy and I do like spicy food. The windows were nice and crispy! Came with carrots and celery sticks. My Chicken Penne Pasta was delicious. I don't know if it was my imagination but there seem to be some sweetness to the sauce. Maybe wine added? My desserts! The beignets were fresh. The arrived with the look of almost a donut hole. They were piping hot. The bread was light, with a bit of dense texture. Very delicious. My affogato was amazing. If you love coffee this might be for you. I had my first affogato in Italy, this is the 2nd best. The hot espresso mixed into the vanilla ice cream, was heavenly. Both my drinks, Espresso Martini and red beer were both delicious! The martini was very creamy and with the right amount of sweetness. The red beer was mild and very smooth. I would love to return and can't wait to try some of the other beers available as well as the yummy dishes on the menu. Parking is busy in the this busy street mall. Shares lots with DMV, Walmart and other businesses.

I also had a Luguna wheat beer ($9). Beer wss good and burger was typical, but the bun was more dry than I like. Plenty of parking outside and the place was very open spacious. I'd come back again, but would wanna try something else than the burger and maybe come back for HH as prices were on the higher side.

The staff was very warm and welcoming, though throughout the evening it definitely felt like they may have been short staffed and stretched a bit thin. Since we were headed to a movie after dinner, we decided to keep things light and share appetizers plus dessert. We tried the Fried Shishito Peppers, Veggie Potstickers, Grilled Broccolini, Rosemary Garlic Fries, Whipped Burrata, Garlic Noodles, Salmon Poke Tacos, and Lamb Chops. Overall, the food was decent but nothing especially memorable. The lamb chops were cooked nicely but could have used more seasoning, and the poke tacos were tasty but tiny -- literally about the size of my pinky for each taco. We were disappointed they had sold out of both the Crème Brûlée Bread Pudding and the Budino, which were the desserts we originally wanted to try. Thankfully, the Butter Toffee Cake completely saved dessert for us -- absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a cute spot with good vibes for a girls night, but the food itself didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

Our server recommended a special habanero roll, and my friend ordered the Hawaii rolls--both were excellent. Another friend ordered a burger and really enjoyed it as well, so the kitchen is definitely doing something right. Where things fell short was the service. Our server started off great--friendly and with a good vibe--but as the evening went on, things slowed down noticeably. The host was not very attentive; we had to ask multiple times for items, and drinks were delayed until our server eventually followed up. It felt like no one else was stepping in to help. There were also a few mix-ups. We ordered crème brûlée and cheesecake, but were mistakenly given bread pudding that belonged to another table. It took about 20 minutes for the server to return and let us know about the error. While it wasn't added to our bill, there wasn't much effort made to make up for the inconvenience. I also ordered another glass of wine that never arrived--though, to be fair, I wasn't charged for it. Toward the end of the night, service became even more inconsistent. We were ready to pay, but the server disappeared for a while, and when he finally took our card, he seemed distracted and took extra time chatting with another table. Overall, it's a nice spot--especially for a summer dinner--and the food is definitely worth trying. However, the service needs improvement before I'd consider coming back.

From decor, to seating, to the outdoors patio seating, it's great. They have a full bar with seating. They take reservations but, depending of the size of your party, there's automatic gratuity. They have viewing tours here and a full purchase area for all their cocktails. The service we received was 5 stars. We were a party of 15 and they were so tentative. They would bring cups of ice with our canned drinks, we didn't have to wait long after ordering, etc. the staff that assisted us needs to be recognized. All the employees working Friday late afternoon who tend the left corner in the front - kudos! We stuck to the cans because we went for happy hour. During happy hour cans are only $5 and their Ssignature cocktail drinks are only $10 instead of $15. Their Happy Hour appetizer menu is great too. The bulgogi loaded fries are sweet with some heat from the aioli. I do wish the meat were chunks like the original bulgogi instead of slow cooked braised beef that's shredded up. I would also ask for the sauce on the side because it can be a bit much if they put too much. The bbq pork sliders were yummy. The bread was soft, the meat had a subtle sweetness, and the coleslaw added a nice bright freshness to the heaviness of the meat. I only wish there was more slaw on them. The habanero buffalo wings were some of the best wings I've have. They were crispy, the meat was seasoned and not just sauce, and the buffalo sauce was chefs kiss. They are spicy so if you don't do spice definitely get another flavor. If you love visiting breweries or just want to try a new place out you have to come to Cutwater. The corned beef hash exceeded expectations, made with actual beef and not the canned stuff. The french toast was not dry, and to ensure it wasn't dry, it was covered in syrup and cream anglaise. Prior to our outing, I sent my family several recommendations for lunch with two burger joints in Escondido and one restaurant in our neck of the woods. The Shop was the last rec and I knew my brother and SIL would probably pick this spot because it serves cocktails and I was right. We enjoyed the food, my family enjoyed their adult beverages, the ambience was really good, and I thought the customer service had some opportunities. The Shop is located in Rancho Bernardo, specifically on Bernardo Center Drive. The restaurant can be found within the Rancho Bernardo Town Center shopping center amongst a group of eateries. Vons is the anchor store and some of the other tenants are the following: The Kebab Shop, China Fun, San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour, BHC Chicken, SDNY'S, and Casa Lahori. There is plenty of free parking at this shopping center. The Shop has plenty of outdoor umbrella covered seating and a spacious indoor eating area. Inside, there is bartop seating overlooking an assortment of adult beverages, there is a good amount of wooden tables and wooden chairs, and there is a long wooden fixed bench with a white brick wall where you'll lean your back onto as you dine. The Shop has decorative light fixtures, a character and boom box decal on one wall, framed black and white pics on another wall, and there's a television above the bar where we watched World Cup soccer. Our waitress and the staff we interacted with were friendly, but I wished our waitress checked up on us more often. I asked one of the staff, a smaller young lady, for a refill of my Shirley Temple and for a box for our leftovers, but it took awhile for those requests to be taken care of. One of my gym friends asked me whether I had dined at The Shop and after telling him I had not, he recommended this restaurant and mentioned that it served memorable cocktails. My brother and SIL are bourbon aficionados, so I knew they'd select The Shop to eat lunch at after they checked out the Yelp business link I had sent them as one of the three recommendations. I don't indulge in adult beverages, but my family ordered Old Fashioned drinks and they appeared to enjoy their drinks. Prior to grubbing at The Shop, I couldn't tell what type of cuisine it serves, but I now know that they specialize in Italian cuisine. They serve starters, cheese + charcuterie, salads, sandwiches, housemade pastas, signature pizzas, desserts, and sides. We decided to share appetizers, so we ordered two orders of freshly baked garlic rolls and my family ordered the spinach artichoke dip. We got to The Shop around 12:30pm and a few minutes after we ordered our starters, we were told the spinach artichoke dip was sold out. We were bummed that after opening at 11am, they were sold out of that dip. The garlic rolls were made with garlic, herb butter, and parmesan. They were fresh and tasty. Instead of the artichoke dip, my brother ordered the burrata bruschetta. That bruschetta was fresh tasting and yummy. For our entree, the wife and I ordered one of their deep dish pizzas, which is considered one of their specialties. We selected the Old Town, which comes with pepperoni, mushrooms, white onions, green bell peppers, fresh garlic, and black olives. The Shop needs to be visited for its deep dish pizzas. We ordered the 9" small and it was big enough to share. It was cheesy, fresh, had an abundant amount of ingredients, and I thought the crust was delicious. That pizza was appetizing and filling. My family and I had a wonderful date day outing experiencing The Shop for the first time. I definitely want to try out their pastas, sandwiches, and their meat pizza. Hopefully they won't run out of their spinach artichoke dip the next time we visit.
