Do not go to this Denny's restaurant and particularly do not bring children here. I went for breakfast and the manage Scott yelled at his staff and on the telephone for over 30 minutes. The worst part was that he used four letter words and the f____ word consistently. Apparently he believes he is more important than his customers. I have experienced Scott's anger and abusive character several times before. He should be terminated. This is one of the worst Denny's in the chain. read more

I was so disappointed today when I went for a late dinner to Denny's in Tustin. We were very hungry and ordered breakfast, unfortunately we just started eating and after more than a few bites my tongue was irritated due to the extreme salt on my eggs and hash browns. I asked the waitress Eddi for another order as it was too salty she went into a bit explanation telling me she knew it wasn't salted and I asked her again to bring me another order of hash browns she kept trying to make me understand that they are not salted. (Rude!) then on the third request for hash browns she told us that they were going to charge me for it. I told her I was not asking for free I just wanted some hash browns, she again started arguing that she had to charge us. She was raising her voice and be argumentative and then I told her to please stop and cx it. We didn't finish the eggs, hash brown due to saltiness only the pancake. Not sure why she kept arguing that she was going to have to charge me when I had also explained twice I didn't care about paying for the side, it became too complicated to understand to just get it for me. I finally just decided to give in and say "forget about it" because she just kept raising her voice and arguing that it didn't have salt. NEVER AGAIN coming to this Dennys!, oh then when we asked for day management name she acted like she didn't understand us or knew his name. read more

Food actually tasted FRESH. It also arrived FAST to our table. We ordered breakfasts this weekday morning. The food tasted great; the scrambled eggs cooked perfectly. Restaurant was still pretty quiet but got busier and louder before we finished and left at 9am. Parking was easy, plentiful and no fee. Restrooms were well stocked and clean. Dining tabletops are showing some minor wear and tear, but the entire dining area is clean. The seating is well maintained without rips or stains. There is easy access to the front door for most with any physical challenges. However, the handicapped design parking is very limited. Overall a good dining experience, but what made it great was our server Faustino! He was friendly and welcoming the moment we walked through the entry. He has a fantastic demeanor and was somehow right nearby every time we realized we needed something during our meal. We were staying at the newly refurbished small motel next door to Dennys, so I'm sure we'll return to eat a couple more times during our stay. Well, against my better judgment, I went back to this location. Same server, same lack of service. I had been trying to get her attention several times as she walked by and she ignored me. At one point I was getting a bit louder saying "excuse me". The other server noticed and mentioned to her that I was trying to get her attention. It took several tries for this other server to get her to understand. (My server's English is very poor.) She (my server) just kept doing whatever she was doing. I had to get up and ask for a refill on my tea. (The other server got it for me.) A customer should NEVER have to get up and get their own refill NEVER. Also when I paid I ran my cc and told her that I don't need a receipt. She looked at me and asked "do you want your receipt?" Someone needs to learn to listen. Both visits were on a Sunday. Other servers at this location are great - this one is just a poor server. I'm not even sure why I left her a tip - even if it was a small one read more

Everytime we have eaten here, we've been greeted immediately, seated quickly, ambiance is relaxing and very clean, friendly smiling faces, food excellent, excellent service. Was heading to a thrift shop and saw this Denny's. Boy am I glad I stopped by. Place was clean, staff was friendly and the best thing was the food was super delicious. My waiter Heriberto was so nice and made sure my coffee was topped off. The eggs were super runny, just the way I like them. Pancakes were so fluffy and had really good flavor.
