I would leave 0 stars. Essentially Assistant Manager Lindsey was rude and accused my friends they did not pay for the last time they came without me. Friends showed her they had tried to pay the bill and were informed the bill was covered by someone else from management. She then accused them of lying despite showing evidence of the conversation with another manager. Was forced to pay for the bill due to her claiming she was going to call the cops. Worst part in order to pay she didn't have the record of it and had to ring the items again. Worst service ever received from a Dennys staff made prejudice comments about the whole situation. Made us feel uncomfortable that they would spit in our food at that point so we left. read more

These big chains need to look at their product, beginning with staff. We came here on a weekend, expecting a line and wait, that's understandable. What is not acceptable and outright disgusting is being told repeatedly that a name had been called it multiple times, and not their problem the individual being called is hard of hearing. Are you serious??? How ignorant can you be yet alone insensitive to a disability. The only highlight of this day was the service recovery by one of the coworkers that apologized for the rude behavior from bridgette or brandy, cant remember her name. I will be filing an ADA complaint on this facility, maybe a best practice can be adopted. Nobody, should have to deal with this lack of service and ignorant behavior. If you don't like your job, do something to move on. That being said, the food was what it is, it came out with some issues but atleast it was prepared how we expected it. read more

This Denny's by far is the BEST in Ventura County! Very clean, service is 10+, food arrived HOT & made to order. My burger was tender and ultra juicy. Drink refills were offered long before I thought to ask for them. Price for the food was perfect for the budget-wise too! read more

Not a huge fan of this place, but our sever was so lovely that I was to give this place a 4 star rating, just for him. I wish I could remember his name, but he was very kind. It's great to have a 24/7 dinner so close to my house now but a little advice is don't go when it's busy. (Weekends) After working in the hospitality industry I feel the management can't get the staff organized to ensure prompt service and hot food. I could give a list of suggestions on how to improve service but that's not what this review is for. All in all, if you go late at night or when it's slow then you a least get warm food. So this Denny's just opened up near our home, and we've been waiting for the long lines and crowds to die down to try. Everything in the restaurant is brand new and has a fresh, alive, busy cafe vibe. Very awesome, speedy service and very attentive waiters. Sometimes these places lose you in the crowd, and the waiter gets so busy that you lose out on a good experience. They are well enough staffed to keep this from happening, as our waiter was very courteous and attentive. As for the food, it was good. It's Denny's, so if you've been to one, the food is the same and good. We had breakfast which consisted of pancakes, eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage. Very good, and what I've come to expect from a chain restaurant, but with a modern, clean vibe. Will definitely be back, maybe at midnight for a dessert or late night munchies since they are open 24 hrs! read more

Brian on the over night shift was extremely rude and used vulgar language with a group of 6 high school adolescents last night who came in about 9:30 pm or just before 10pm. He served us with the in correct orders and gave us all our milkshakes only in the aluminum cup . When it was mentioned to him that all of our milkshakes were watery his response was either you want it or you don't. Either way you're paying for it... He had a very bad attitude beyond belief and it's clear why he's on night shift. We hope to never have this occupancy again because it was down right an embarrassment to what our community is about.... read more

Waited 45 mins for our order, server never came by to see if drinks needed to be refilled or to let us know that kitchen was running behind. Then part of our order was done and sitting under heat lamps. The other order was a breakfast should have been done before our burgers. Then cutting into my burger notice itt was missing the sauce the only reason I ordered it in the first place. I asked about it and the server said oh yeah I think they ran out of it in the kitchen. It was my first time in the new Denny's on Telegraph Rd last evening approx. 4:30pm. My companion and I both ordered the Holiday Dinner of peppercorn steak and chicken strips. The steak and sides were very good BUT the CHICKEN STRIPS WERE EXTREMELY SALTY! I didn't try them until later, in the evening or I would have let them know, while I was still there that they were UNEATABLE!!!!! I don't know if they are prepared on site or ordered already made BUT YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR CHICKEN STRIP RECIPE OR ORDER FROM ANOTHER SUPPLIER! Food was cold, service was terrible, there were 3 people in my group who never got our food, and the lady kept talking about how we were asking for too much (she seemed like a manger or something) i'm not sure if she was trying to be funny or something, but when we went to pay she was giving my friend a hard time for not donating to charity, as if it's a requirement. Not to mention that when we went to go pay, we didn't have our checks because we went an hour without being checked on, our waiter was just eating food and jumped up as soon as he saw us. they also charged us for pancakes we never received and when confronted about them the manager was very hostile and unwilling to reimburse us. On Veterans Day 2019 our favorite 93-year-old veteran went to get his free breakfast at the urging of a friend. Unfortunately, while the breakfast is advertised as free, he didn't realize he had to have his military ID with him to prove he served . At 93 years old he no longer carries that on a regular basis. The manager made a scene and embarrassed him in front of all of the other patrons. It was ridiculous! My family will not patronize this establishment ever again. It's one breakfast.
