Although the prices are kinda high it is definitely worth it, their sides are small, I don't think there's anything bad other then the sides, I don't mind to pay what I pay for the meats or whatever but the sides could definitely be bigger. My husband and I've past this place many times. We finally stopped in for dinner. We order beef brisket and chicken. Both were delicious, I do favor the beef brisket. The sides were cream spinach, baked potato casserole and jalapeño backed beans. I favored the cream spinach. The service was good. They came around and asked us if we need anything eles. Good food!! I really feel that this has to be the most delicious country brisket pulled pork and ribs that I've ever had in California. There are many places out of state that are rare to find good food which is why they are out of state then country states. This is a very rare finding hole in the wall was very very delicious. I would definitely come back many many many more times. The guy serving the meat greeted us and was polite. The food, that's another story. The o my thing hot in our plates were the onion strings and waffle fries. The ribs, beef brisket, corn on cob, string beans, and bread were cold! Corn tasted like it was water logged. I don't like cold food so for me, it's a no go. Iced tea was hot and all food was cold. This was my first time here and my last. It's a shame because bbq is supposed to make you want more and more. We were craving some BBQ and decided to call this place to place an order for pick up. The person answering told me that they weren't taking phone orders, only orders on the internet - strike one. They referred me to their website. After 20 minutes of trying to make an order in their website without success - strike 2, I finally ordered and was going to have it delivered via grubsuck. I waited 1 hour then received notice through grubsuck that my order was cancelled. I called Dicks to inquire, and no answer - strike 3. I'll never, ever, order from this place again. The place is going down fast! The food portions are smaller and some staff is rude won't smile while cutting our food. The taste of the Ice cream even changed to a bland also my kids notice and were not happy. Visited Dickey's on a Sunday for their "kids eat free" promo. The place was pretty empty but let me just rave about how great my experience was. I remember it being a tad bit on the "stingy" side when it came to portions when they first opened but this time I felt that they did a good job and giving a really good serving size of both the meats and the sides. The food was exceptional! I had the fried okra and cream spinach with the chopped beef brisket sandwich and they were all very tasty. I got a cup of half sweet tea/Unsweetened tea and got my free ice cream. Overall what I paid was well worth everything we got. I look forward to Sundays at Dickey's :) read more

Got a 3 item plate with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. My friend got a loaded baked potato with brisket. The ribs were ok, pulled pork tasted like wet napkin, but the brisket was really good. The guy cutting the meat was funny and quick and the girl at the register was super nice and was really generous with my sides. Both seemed very professional. Food was pretty pricey, Drinks were extra :(, but hey free ice cream and a free brownie with this review!!! I'd come again for sure. read more

I visited this place for the first time today and I guess I was expecting more overall. I ordered my food to-go, a Basic Sandwich with beef, pickles and onions and a potato salad on the side. The beef sandwich was disappointingly small and the bun was so greasy on the outside that the grease bled through the wrapping paper. Why was the bun greasy? Because the person preparing my sandwich cut the meat and did not wipe his hands (he was wearing rubber gloves) to get rid of the grease before assembling my sandwich, so all of the grease got transferred onto the bun. While eating the sandwich I could not touch any utensils to eat the potato salad because my hands were just covered in grease. The beef was plenty, but it was rather dry and taking a bite out of the sandwich left me with a mouth full of dry bun and beef, reaching for my cup of water - which of course was totally greasy afterwards from my fingers. The pickles were dill pickles with were very overseasoned in my opinion, their flavor totally clashed with the beef sandwich. The onion were ok, but getting two tiny rings only is laughable. Paying $6.95 for this sandwich was overpriced, considering that it didn't even come with any type of bbq sauce on it. The potato side salad was actually tasty, but again at $2.50 this portion could (and should) have been bigger. My total was $10.30 which I feel was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food I received. $6 to $7 would have been more appropriate for this meal combination. read more

I'm giving dickies one star because the employees were actually nice not rude but everything else about the interaction with the online system and getting satisfaction in the store would be zero. I like the food here but there's a bit of bait and switch going on with the constant coupons I receive because when I go to order using the coupons none of the prices are honored it's a terrible system and I'm really unhappy about it when I asked the person at the store to make it right he said we are a franchise and that is all corporates problem. he wouldn't give me his name, I asked him for the franchise owners name and he said he couldn't give it to me either but his name was Kevin(huh?)he gave me the phone number for corporate in Texas to lodge a complaint he said they would probably send me some coupons or freebies because this happens all the time. My question is if this happens all the time why aren't you fixing it why make customers come in and become frustrated unless you just want them to stop ordering from you which is what I'm planning to do. read more
