Nice spot if you have cravings for some Hawaiian BBQ! Flavors are definitely different than Ono's so don't come in expecting Ono's flavor. I got an order of Spam Musubi and the beef bowl. Spam Musubi: Very basic. Can't go wrong if you want spam, rice and seaweed. This may all depends on a persons preference but the Musubi had TOO much rice to spam ratio. Although spam is salty, the rice overpowered it. There was very minimal sauce. Again, my own personal preference. FYI - don't be like me when I asked if they have a beef Musubi. I had to remind myself I was not at Ono's. Beer bowl was OK. It comes with veggies as well. The beef bowl I had was a little dry but flavors were there. The bbq beef was great, and ample. The bbq chicken was surprisingly tender. The bbq ribs (Kalbi) were very good, but only 4 included, after paying an extra $9 to have them in this "value" meal was excessive. We always order over the phone for pickup, and the food is consistently delicious. The staff is very friendly, though they sometimes speak a bit too quickly on the phone, which can make them hard to understand. However, once I'm there to pick up, the service is quick and organized. The food is excellent and prices are good. If you don't know what to have or to hot to cook this is a place to go.

For the most part the food is usually pretty good but then again we usually stick to the regular Hawaiian BBQ chicken. Today however we decided to try the new beef cheese steak sandwich and it was very underwhelming. The bread was soggy in some parts and hard on others. The meat look like it was just mixed with your regular craft yellow cheese. Would not recommend that meal item at all. Very unappetizing and not well made at all. Not Delivery. I ordered 2 bbq grilled chicken plates and yelp/grub hub charged me $19.81. The price at the restaurant was $14.97. I also ordered a chicken bowl and yelp/grub hub charged me $14.31. The price at the restaurant was $11.01. No where was it disclosed to me that I would be paying more than the prices at the restaurant. The food and service were good. It's a small restaurant seating capacity around 20 never been here before and our first time. We ordered the Hawaiian Mix BBQ Platter for $17.19. Their marinade is not sweet but it was good to the taste. The BBQ Beef was awesome, some of the chicken was a little overcooked, the BBQ Ribs was also great. They give you a lot of food but it doesn't taste fresh. Tastes at least a day past fresh. Worst part, I called in my order and asked for sriracha and she said it was self serve. For starters; I would like to say that the staff are amazing and as friendly as can be. My family and I were on a mission for some saimin soup. I researched local places and Ohana was closest and stated (on 4 different menu statements) that they had saimin soup available. I took my family to get this desired soup, only to find that they did NOT have the soup and that it was a "sometimes" menu item. GRRRR!!! I didn't try it myself as I'm pescatarian, but even looking at it, the amount of fat was surprising. The girl behind the register noted that on the receipt. It was in very large black letters, all macaroni when I got my meal it was one scoop of macaroni and two scoops of rice. What is wrong with the guy cooking the food. I'm guessing he doesn't speak English so he doesn't know what all Mac means. I walked in to no welcome or anything which is no big deal but I had to stand at the front of the cashier for about 5 minutes and during the whole time we did not exchange a word. I made eye contact with about 4 employees and not a word was said to me, during the transaction I was just handed the receipt not a thank you nor a have a nice day. Looking at employees I saw at least 2 walking around with airpods in just giving the vibe that this is not a business to be taken seriously with an unprofessional work environment. I order the seafood BBQ Combo. Good portions but only Two Hot sauces and One mayo sauce. They couldn't make it spicy, but i was offered something else that was spicy. Seems like the place is more commercial than family owned. I give it a 3 stars due to the price, and taste. The meat is bit chewy and rubbery like. The Fried Shrimp had no flavor. The food is delicious. They recently expanded their menu to include new items. The breaded chicken items like pineapple chicken or katsu chicke is not covered in the sauce and helps keep the chicken crispy and ready for dipping. The half and half plate is great to try new items and very filling. They have bottles of a hot sauce they make that is so delicioua and jas a great kick to it (would work on tacos too) I was able to sub my macaroni salad for more rice and the best part is they have a teriyaki pump next to the fountain drinks. read more
