I bought a container of it and brought it home and put it in a glass jar and have been allowing my children to taste it on the back of a spoon and tonight we're actually going to barbecue wings and toss them in it. Hands down "This is the best Carolina honey barbecue sauce" I've ever tasted and I've tasted a lot. Whatever his secret is, I would love to have it cause I want to can it and I'm not sure why he doesn't bottle this and sell it himself. It is literally gold in a bottle. Now, as far as their sweet potatoes, I was so impressed because usually when you go to a barbecue place, they give you orange yams and call them sweet potatoes. Not this guy he had straight yellow sweet potatoes with some type of honey brown sugar goodness dripping over the top. The pork ribs were fantastic and so were the smothered fries with the barbecued pork my Lord just rub it on my hips. The hospitality was phenomenal. Our server explained that they had recently switched to that brand. My recommendation would be to switch it out again because it really affected the drinks. The queso and chips were just okay. The queso was extremely watery and had almost a soupy consistency. The chips, however, were fresh, crisp, and tasted good. Our server was attentive and did a great job throughout our visit, which I appreciated. I didn't try any of the main courses, so I can't comment on the food beyond what we ordered. After a brief conversation with us, the chef even presented us with a post-wedding snack that he whipped-up for us: barbacoa street tacos! OKAY, let's talk about their food. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's!
