We were craving Dim sum and happened to google search this place. What luck to have found such a delicious little restaurant. Coming in it was easy to find and very clean! There's only about 4 tables so it's a very small and casual restaurant. But again, everything very clean even the floors and windows you can tell get a lot of care. We ordered a few different things to get a good variety of flavors. I ordered the phö which I'll say was pretty good! I've tasted broths that are much heavier or fattier (which is kind of what I prefer) but this one was a very light broth but still you can taste lots of flavor and spices.. I would give it a 7/10. We also tried xiao long bao, and wontons in spicy oil which were both super fresh and flavorful! Our favorite though was the chicken chow mein! Sooo yummy there usually are always leftovers whenever we eat but definitely didn't have any this time. My husband also order the sticky rice chicken dim sum that comes wrapped in the leaves which were very delicious as well. And we ended with a tasty thai tea that's was also very fresh! I'd say the price was affordable as well we ordered 2 orders of xlb, the wontons, 2 Thai teas, the soup, the noodles and the sticky rice all for 77! Not including tip but we were very generous since they treated us very kind and made sure everything was to our liking! Definitely going back soon read more

There's nothing Dim Sum about this world. It's more a dumpling world. I was disappointed because I was looking for the traditional "dim sum". The pan fried juicy bun was in fact not a bun but a larger dumpling skin pan fried, no bun there. I probably ordered the wrong thing. It was still good though but not what I was expecting. I also ordered the spicy Dan Dan noodles but asked her to make it not spicy. Our definitions of not spicy are definitely not the same. Overall the food was good but not what I was expecting. Overall a underwhelming experience. I got the pan fried dumplings, beef soup, and beef wrap. Pros Beef wrap had nice crunchy cucumbers Filling for pan fried dumplings were very flavorful. Cons Pan-fried dumplings were not crispy on the bottom at all. The skin was thick and felt more like a lotus bun. Beef wrap was not wrapped multiple times, so it fell apart easily. There was not much beef in the wrap, and the cucumber was next to it in the wrap, so I never got a "perfect" bite. The owner did not acknowledge my presence when I entered and was just chit chatting with another customer. The worker that did help me out was nice and was the only nice thing about the restraunt. They have menus with a lot of photos at their table out front. You cannot go inside to order. They gave me an estimated 15-20 minute wait but it was closer to 30-35 minutes. We decided to try them out even it's a long drive for us. The place is not huge, but we were greeted right away even she was very busy with other customers. The place is pack and lots of phone orders. While talking to the owner we found out her and husband are running this business for a long time. They hand make every single gyoza, dumpling, noodles,.... they served. Including Chili sauce. Imagine, 12:00 midnight they start preparing till 6:00am every single day. Their price are not expensive and every single dish is awesome so delicious. We are planing to go back again this weekend. Just FYI, Dim Sum World doesn't have a lot of options nor many Cantonese favorites, but I was impressed with what I got. My family and I shared: - Beef Noodle Soup - This was my mom's favorite. This was hearty! The beef was tender and the noodles cooked to a perfect al dente! (They definitely didn't skimp on the noodles either.) - Beef Rolls - These were awesome! The beef was well marinated and I loved the crispiness of the cucumber. The outside pancake wrap was very flakey as well. Overall a super tasty dish. - Pork and chive dumplings - These were my favorite! There was a lot of filling in each dumpling and they were very juicy. I liked that they included the Chinese black vinegar, but it was kind of a bummer that the heat from the food caused the lid to burst open, leaving most of the vinegar in the container. - Shrimp and pork shu mai - These were really good as well. (They weren't listed on the regular menu, but were featured as a special on the wall. As you can tell, I pretty much loved all four dishes. This place isn't very fast. This place is an absolute gem!! I'm so sad I didn't take any photos of the food (I was too busy devouring it) but everything is always so delicious. It's a cozy restaurant serving all types of Asian delights that are each made fresh to order. Not only are the dishes amazing, but the service is as well. Everytime I come here, I feel the love from the staff and it reminds me of some semblance of home - growing up with this type of comfort cuisine. It makes me sad to hear that others might not have had a positive experience but honestly having tried an array of Asian restaurants in the area, none taste like this. There's no reminisce of MSG (like most places) and everything feels light, not greasy. My assumption is that inflation has a lot to do with it, but I ordered 1 wonton in chili oil and 1 spicy dan dan noodle and it was $22. They did change prices and the menu , first time trying this location . They told us 15 min and took about 25. Chili oil crab dumplings (black) had different wrapper and they were kind of gritty and had just a vinegar taste. The wrapper also got hard within 2 mins of having the container open. Chili oil wontons tasted like vinegar wontons and weren't really spicy. Chili oil needed flavor. Don't know if the dumplings were frozen or what but I don't think I will come again. Dumplings are not worth the price we did also order Xiao Long Bao and they were mediocre with that weird after taste. My entire meal was $41 and It was not worth the price at all. I went here today. I ordered the beef noodle soup. Probably the worst beef noodle soup I ever had. Here are some reasons: 1. About 4 quarter size pieces of beef 2. Soup had a quarter inch of oil in the bowl 3. The soup was old 4. Expensive for what it's worth I also threw up about an hour of eating it. I don't throw up normally, so something is off. Dim Sum World is a small place with limited seating, and is cash only. They offer a variety of dumpling items, some of which are unique to them. Those uncommon items are the reason to come and eat here. The crab and pork xiao long bao is flavorful. But as with all xiao long bao, if the skin rips then the soup comes out. Here 2 of the 8 ripped. In contrast, the vegetable xiao long bao had no soup in them at all, so it was just a vegetable dumpling. Not as flavorful as the other dumplings containing meat. The Sheng Jian Bao were pan-fried bao, some slightly over-fried on the bottom, and a simple pork filling. We decided to take out 2 frozen vegetable steamed bao. We ordered 5 dishes and it came out to ~$40: XLB, Beef Noodle Soup, Spicy Wonton, Beef Wrap, Green Onion Pancake. All of the food was good, but I think the Green Onion Pancake was a little bit too hard. The Beef Noodle Soup had a bunch of noodles and the broth was tasty! I recommend going here because it has good value and the food is pretty good. It's nothing amazing but if you ever find yourself in the area or bored with your usual places, it's worth a shot. Was good but has some room to improve as well.
