I order from this location frequently since its near my work I have tried everything from here such as pizzas', salads, and subs and everything I order is always consistent, fresh, and fast. Some items worth checking out is there pastrami sub, turkey and swiss sub, chef salad, and of course there supreme pizza or if you want to try something different try there duke city read more

Dion's is apparently an Albuquerque institution, though I personally feel there are better pizza places in town. Still, for the number of locations they have, the above-average quality of their food, and the pretty decent pricing, Dion's gets 4 stars in my book. This is one of their newer (if not newest in Albuquerque) locations. Haven't eaten in the restaurant itself, but I've had carry-out several times. They can sometimes take a bit longer to get your order out than they quote you...I was told 25 minutes once, got there 30 minutes after I placed my order, and still had to wait for another 15. Not a huge gripe, but something to consider. All in all, a decent place to go for a pie. read more

We ordered a large catering package from this location and upon arrival the package was not correct. My wife went back to correct it, the asst mgr and mgr were so nice and were willing to do anything to correct their error. They rushed the remainder of the order plus extra. To top it off, when it was all done they gave us a huge discount. We made it to the party just in time and no one knew the difference. For how they handled this situation, I will forever order from Dion's. More businesses need to value their customers like these mgrs did! read more

The food here is always hot and delicious. I am a pizza snob from NY so I rarely divulge in pizza when I'm here. I usually order their meatball sub when I'm here and it's so good. The place can get a little crowded, but the wait isn't too bad. The customer service is good and the staff is friendly. There is always plenty of seating if you dine in as most people order to go. they also have a drive through, which is a new concept for a pizza place, but very convenient for busy people. You can call to order ahead as well, which reduces wait time too. The desserts are also good here. I definitely recommend the cookies. The pizza isn't bad either (this coming from a NYer), but I still can't get with the green chili thing (lol). Overall good food and good customer service. I am amazed at what people think is good pizza. This place is average at best, just barely above Chuck-e-cheese. Very bland sauce resulting in very bland pizza. Decent dough/crust but that's not where the flavor comes from. The salad was a little better. The desserts are typical deli-like -- average. The sandwiches look like the best bet. Service is good. The atmosphere is clean, with ample space and nice lighting. read more

Dion's is having a consistency problem. I ordered a 10 inch sub. One half had only one slice of meatand other had the normal amount of meat. I ate the half that had the one slice of meat first thinking they cut back on how much meat they put on a sandwich, but when I ate the other half and saw that my assumption was wrong. read more

I love dions but I don't love waiting for my food for 45 minutes!! I placed an online order around 12:45 and it said it would be ready to be picked up at 1:16!! They messed up our order and didn't make all the pizzas that we ordered! So in the future do not order online dions because they do not communicate with the people making the food!! read more

Just ate here. My mom got a unsweetened iced tea and when she took a drink the tea tasted horrible and smelled like sewage. One of the staff, Jason, didn't know it was my mom. He asked if we were okay and said well besides the lady that says she needs to throw up. That was my mom and he was laughing. He then kept joking about the situation which we didn't find funny. I had to explain to that even the girl in the back smelled the iced tea and was disgusted by it. Apparently it's not cleaned out and makes me wonder what else isn't cleaned. I've never had a problem with this Dion's before, but tonight I ordered my usual pain in the butt order online. Went to the to go window, received my food timely, checked the bags to make sure everything was there and went back home. When I get there, I realized I was not given the correct salad, so I called to let them know. Mitchell, the manager, was courteous and told me the problem would be resolved if I came back. Before I got off the phone, I was assured I would receive a gift card for my trouble. So I got in my car, jumped back into the freeway and made the journey back to this Dion's while my sandwich was sitting at home getting cold to return this salad. I was given the correct salad and a whopping $5 gift card for my hassle. Did I mention the salad I paid for was family size? It's pretty ridiculous to give a gift card for any less then the price of the item that wasn't made correctly, if not more. I am very unhappy with the way this was handled, but at least I have a cold sandwich waiting for me. *edit* got home and started eating my sandwich and realized it has the wrong cheese on it. From an out of towner, very good pizza. I got a pepperoni, onion, and green chile. The Greek salad was good too. Atmosphere is nice and place is clean. Staff was very friendly too. Cannot ask for much more than that. read more

As far as a good sandwich and pizza goes it's better than Subway or Little Caesar's. I recommend the greek style salads with either a half sandwich or slice of cheese. This place gets PACKED at lunch so go earlier or later then 11:30-1300. read more

Pizza is alright for Albuquerque, but the Green Chile Ranch dressing on salad is fantastic!

The pizza was really good. We ordered the large salad and it fed 4 of us. Same with the large pizza. My son has a dairy allergy and their crust and sauce has no dairy. His pizza was cooked perfectly (other places tend to burn the top when it has no cheese). read more

One of the best pizzas I have had in this state. Fiona has great quality as well. I go here for group gatherings a lot. My favorite pizza is the green chile pepperoni pizza. I'm not too much of a ranch fan, but their ranch is to die for. read more

I have visited Dion's for the last time! The last pizza I got was subpar but I have had good service and pizza before. I ordered a 14 inch Dion special to go, and got there a few minutes before the 25 minutes they told me about. I waited 8 minutes which was fine, but upon opening the pizza at home it was Joey and messy and tasteless. It is unfortunate that this company has experienced tremendous growth but lost their sense of quality. read more

Love Dion's food, but the last couple times I visited for lunch I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my sub. Makes it difficult to get back to work in time. They also made my sub wrong, but since I was already late getting back to work, I didn't have time to have them correct it. read more

I was told it was a 20 minute wait so I showed up in 20 minutes. When I arrived they had me pull to the front and wait. Someone comes out after 35 minutes and says they burnt my pizza and have to make another one and it would be another 15 minutes. Sad day. read more

I am rating the salad I ordered only. Average. On a very slow Wednesday night I walked in to order my salad to-go and waited 15-20 minutes. While I waited, the pizzas that were being delivered to the eat-in diners looked pretty good. Super casual place and could be good for a group of 6-10 or even a group with a few kids. Ordered a couple of slices and picked my own toppings. Basically what you get is a slice of cheese pizza that they drop the toppings on top of. The problem with this is they don't stay on. If you don't keep it level you will be eating just a plain piece of pizza. Perhaps if they were to add cheese on top of the toppings and then heat the slice it would work. Don't expect to have a beer either because they don't serve them. read more

Been here in Albuquerque for 2 months visiting. Out of all the quick restaurants Albuquerque has to offer Dion's is by far one of the best. I eat there a few times a week and the service is fast and friendly while the food is extremely fresh. Great pizza,subs, lemonade and salads with tons of variety and no skimping on the toppings ! The prices are very reasonable. Best salads and subs I've ever had in my opinion and I just can't get enough of them! Their dressings are homemade as well which is really nice. Dion's has a good family friendly atmosphere and you can even call your order in ahead of time and pick it up through their drive thru window if you don't feel like going inside. I have eaten a a few of the locations. This time I had a ranch salad, replacing the ice burg lettuce with the spring mix. Worst customer service. I placed my order online and showed up a few minutes earlier than the pickup time. I waited for almost 5 minutes before someone came to the window even though some of the workers noticed I was there. And this girl took my name and what I was getting and basically gave me my food and never apologized for making me wait for so long and didn't even say thank you or anything. She pretty much handed me my food without saying anything with no emotions and shut the window while I was still there. I didn't get napkins or anything. This girl clearly needs customer service training. I don't even like their food and I was pretty much going there for the convenience of not getting out of my car but never again. read more

I called my order in to pick it up on my way home. I drove through the pick-up window with had a line with was fine being it was a Saturday night. A guy came out to get our names and orders and phone #'s I thought to speed service, but when I got to the window, my order wasn't together. I got home and my salad didn't have the mix of cucumber/onions my pizza slice looked like an old cheese pizza that they just added raw mushrooms, green chilli and cold pepperonis,not even heated. I called the manager Megan and told her about it, and her comment that's gross and didn't sound appetizing. What kind of professionalism is that? So disappointing!!!! After an 8hr drive from Phoenix for the best pizza ever, we were so disappointed with our pizza. We ordered take-out ($53 for us 3 girls! yes we miss our Dion's) and didn't look at our pizza until we got to our hotel room. We were so shocked that our 505 had maybe 5 pieces of green chile and this is green chile season. We were planning to order 3 more for the car ride home and for the family in Phoenix anxiously awaiting our favorite pizza and we decided against it.
