The shop is the definition of chaos. I dropped my car and they told me they would call. They didnt. I called 4 hours later and they told me "sorry" we forgot to call. Got here to get my tire put on and was told it would take 20 minutes and it is not been an hour. My car still not in the bay. That's 5 hours to check and repair a nail hole... nobody has any idea what going on. If you have all day and love to sit... then this is the best place for you.... I pre-ordered my tires online, and made an appointment to have them installed. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, and in less than 45 minutes total I was driving away with my new tires! The staff was very helpful and friendly - and even recommended another shop where I could get some additional work done on my car. I no longer shop around for tires when I need them, I bring my car right to Discount Tire. Despite being incredibly busy with nearly every service bay occupied, the staff perform their tasks so quickly and efficiently that I have never had to wait more than an hour for completion of my vehicle. Their prices are very competitive and they will negotiate a price match if presented with info on same type/model of tire. How to get all four new tires a few weeks ago and they were also very quickly with putting them on even though there were a lot of people. Simply the best customer service ever. I accidentally punctured a tire within a block from them, around 8AM on Saturday, so I quickly stopped by, they repaired my tire, accidentally broke a lug, in no time gave me a free voucher to get it immediately repaired, together with apologies and deep niceness and professional treatment, and I could resume my trip safely and well. Some other idiot would hold a grudge against them for the broken lug, but know what? Bad stuff happens, it is a part of life. They screwed up, they fixed it. A quality service is not about not-ever-screwing up. It is about screwing up as little as possible, but also, to be accountable and responsible when you screw up. (No, I am NOT a disgruntled first time customer. I have been going to DT for the better part of 15 years here in DFW). I am not satisfied with the service or pricing I received today. $176 to un-mount and remount four tires is - regardless of free enterprise - excessive and uncompetitive. $18/tire for "lifetime balancing" - which I was told I could not refuse. You are joking, no? 20" wheels - standard on many full size cars today with an upcharge of double that for 18". What, your boys can't handle the extra pound or two? Besides that, it took the service tech almost 2 hours. I arrived at 1100 for a written scheduled appointment at 1115. I did not leave until 1345. There was a lot of wasted time in between. The service writer was not having a good day either - and I got some of that attitude the moment I came to the counter. It has to be this location because I have not has these issues at The Colony location. And this cannot be the way Mr. Halle intended, either. ...and no WiFi (unlike The Colony) ...and no coffee (ditto) I shall not patronize that location, again. read more

Held doors, helped problem solve with me since I didn't have time to wait two hours at his store, so he even offered to call around to see if he could find me another store with less of a wait time. I went to the Discount Tire at Park and the Tollway and they removed the nail, patched the tire and checked air in all 4. They were quick, polite, professional and did not charge me anything. When I was unfortunate enough to purchase a MINI Cooper and was introduced to the world of run-flat tires, I needed to find a reliable tire place with good prices. I chose this place because it was close to home and I'm so happy I found them. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. From the beginning, these guys have gone above and beyond to make it a pleasant customer service experience for me. When I needed a new set of tires, one of the employees actually arranged to get them and then bring them in the next day on his day off. When I had a flat tire, they put a temporary rim and tire on the car so that I could get to work. Whenever I make an appointment, they always have me out in less than 30 minutes. I've never been able to beat the prices and if I did, they have a price-matching guarantee so they would still get my business. Kudos to the guys there, especially Andy, Brian and Nick. I went to Discount Tire at 1901 Dallas PKWY for a tire rotation. I was told that the tires were too worn to service. I had bought the tires from this location. The tires had 17k miles on them with a 70k mile warranty. Only 3 months prior I had the tires rotated, balanced, and aligned with another business (since this location does not complete alignments). The 70k mile warranty was not honored and I had to purchase new tires. I would not recommend this unfair business practice to anyone else in my community. I will be moving my family's business to another local establishment. This is unpleasant because I had been a loyal customer here for nearly 8 years. Not anymore. read more

I love this location. I went to one in Dallas and I feel like they didn't fix my tire correctly because that tire kept losing air. I came here with a spare on because I had a complete flat tire. They fixed my flat tire and put back my spare all for freeee. Not only that all the employee's are friendly and seems honest. They don't try to sell you like used car sales man. I have a f150 that I have spent a lot of time customizing the way I want it. It looks like a Lightning/Harley Davidson. I went in today for 4 new 295/45r18 about a $1000.00 worth of wheels and work. While I was outside walking over to look at the new wheels. A Discount tire employee was pointing at my truck and yelling from across the parking lot "Oscar, Oscar! Look a low rider! Hey get Oscar. Tell him look at this low rider!" Now if I am mistaken. I apologize. But the name Oscar sounds like a Hispanic mans first name. So to yell at a Hispanic man to come look at a low rider while pointing at a customers car and laughing? Sounds a bit racist and disrespectful to him and to me. I guess only Hispanic men like low riders? I'm a 41 year old Caucasian man btw and I love my lowered truck. I did speak to the store manager (Robert McCullough 972-267-1877) who happened to be standing a few feet away from me while this was being yelled. He told me he would have a talk with the employee. I also spoke with (Chris Kunde 972-278-6444) the regional manager about this. I explained that this was not the experience I was expecting from this Discount tire location. He informed me that this was not tolerated and would follow up on this complaint. All of this while Christian music was playing in the lobby. I cancelled the work and got a full refund.
