It was fantastic with lots of chicken and fresh ingredients. The sauce was not too spicy which was my only gripe (I like things wicked spicy though so probably good for majority of people). Stopped by on a whim one night and so glad we did. Some of the best chicken Parmesan I've ever had, and my wife's food was impeccable as well. Our waitress was very nice and the service timely. The most horrible restaurant experience I have ever had. 100% do not recommend this place. The service I received at my table for 2 at a high top at the bar consisted of a waitress who took our order in one shot, (after waiting 25 minutes for her to get to our table) and then for her to drop our food off. The only 2 instances we saw her all night. Male bartender who was in eye view of us completely aloof and sloth like tending only to his customers in front of him. After getting our food after 1 hour of waiting, I ordered a second drink with dinner; it never arrived and was only on its way after my last bite. I cancelled the drink. Planned on ordering dessert but couldn't wait to get out of this place. It's too bad because food is delicious and the kitchen staff works it's tails off. Place is completely understaffed of bartenders/waitresses and it's very obvious that the "regulars" get the better treatment. Choose elsewhere. Especially on a Saturday evening. read more

What a find! My goodness I never expected this. What an Italian meal inside of a homey restaurant. And the portions! Lawdy the portions. But I'll get to that :) Came here on a Saturday night with a reservation in hand and were seated right away. And I'm so glad we had a reservation too as the restaurant is teeny tiny and popular. We would have been waiting for quite some time! As soon as we sat down, the waitress brought out fluffy, crusty bread with olive oil for dipping. The bread was heaven on earth and we all had to restrain from thirds as we knew dinner was still coming. Made sure to save a piece though for soaking up sauce from my meal! The menu was extensive with home cooked and Italian specialty dishes. The build your own pasta has quite a few options for sauces and as we didn't recognize most of the names, we asked our waitress. And glad we did! Ended up getting the Olive Oil and Garlic one (can't remember the Italian name....). We ended up getting a variety of dishes and drinks, I settled on Beef Ravioli with Red Vodka Sauce, and a glass of Red Sangria. The drinks were quick in coming and LORD that was a huge helping of Sangria! Came in a huge glass, and certainly didn't skimp on the alcohol. Without a doubt, would get again. The meal took awhile to come, but we were busy chatting that it went by without too many grumbles. And was it worth it! First off, the portions are HUGE. Expect to bring home leftovers. The Eggplant Parmesan, and the Chicken Parmesan in particular seemed to be two plates combined into one. Considering the size, the plates were very well priced. My dish was scrumptious with the perfect amount of sauce. It was different from what I've had in the past as far as Ravioli goes, and I quite enjoyed it. Lived in warwick for 35 years and last night was our first time there. Nice, romantic lighting , small but cozy. Must not have been our waiter's best night. Didnt give us all the specials, forgot to give us bread, another waiter reminded him. Didn't ask my husband if he wanted another drink. Barely came to our table. Only heard all the specials because he told the table next to us. We had the coconut shrimp (delcious), steak special and bake scrod. Steak was too fatty but cooked well as well as the fish. Haven't had good Italian food in a while, ever since covid hit but decided to give my local restaurant a shot, just 2 minutes from my house I ordered the Creamy Pesto Grilled Salmon with Rice and Vegetables... Was just amazing, very delicious, rice properly cooked (I'm Hispanic so I approve the rice), vegetables were grilled very well and still retain flavor and form and the Salmon was flaky, flavorful and juicy still, the creamy pesto... omg very generous and so good I mixed my rice with it cause it was so delicious, take out doesn't always look too great when you get it home but to be honestly, the flavor of this dish will leave you very satisfied. read more

Went to Divine for dinner, and it's such a hidden gem! Inside was cozy. We got the Monday night special of 2 entrees, 2 salads and a bottle of wine for $35. We visited this restaurant because we had a food fights coupon for calamari. Although the calamari was a little chewy, it was otherwise perfectly done with a butter garlic sauce. We tried the rigatoni Bolognese and the veal Parmesan, which were both delicious! The huge selling point for this place is the fact that you can choose any pasta for your dish, including gnocchi! I was also able to choose pink vodka sauce rather than marinara for my veal Parmesan. These little details really make the restaurant seem like they care about the customer experience rather than making an extra dollar. Another incredibly important aspect to an Italian restaurant is the bread. The basket of warm, fresh Italian bread that landed on the table was perfect. It was served with a Parmesan, red pepper infused oil, which was also really delicious. The server was absolutely wonderful, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. You can come here for a really nice romantic dinner or with your baby, in our case. We weren't hungry enough to try dessert and coffee, but we certainly will next time! read more

Their claim to fame : "$9 Pastabilities" where you can choose your own pasta and sauce for $9 each. 8 different varieties of pasta and 7 sauces, ranging from pink vodka to aioli and everything in between. On my first visit, I had the sesame-encrusted pan seared tuna, served with seaweed salad, wasabi and jasmine rice. I asked for rare, and got it exactly the way I ordered it. Last night, I opted for the linguini with pink vodka sauce. It wasn't up to the expectations of the previous visit (who can beat that tuna honestly?) but knowing how affordable the plate was, this alternative was definitely worth trying out. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem while driving around looking for a new place to eat. We lucked out! Everything was amazing... The service, food, drinks and atmosphere. We will definitely be going back. I had rigatoni with pink vodka sauce and hot Italian sausage and my boyfriend had sesame crusted tuna with jasmine rice and grilled vegetables. I found this lovely restaurant within the first few months of moving in with my girlfriend. The restaurant is split into two halves-1 is a bar, where there's always a sports game on and the other is a nice, intimate dining area. It's got a great ambiance to it. What I love is that even though I have went there every other week or so, one of the servers recognizes my girlfriend and I from going in. When you first get seated, you get these nice warm, fresh bread cubes and a semi-spicy dipping oil for it, which is nice to start off with. From there, on the menu, thus far I have done the $9 Pastabilities a few times-my favorite combination is their potato gnocchi with their pink vodka sauce. The pink vodka is exceptional, definitely one of the better ones I've had. I tried the puttanesca and had them do it spicy and it was pretty good, I wanted more brininess and heat to it, though. The BEST dish there, and I'm seriously hooked on this, to the point where I almost feel myself NEEDING it, is their Specialty Bianco Grilled Pizza with Prosciutto and Mashed Potatoes. Yes, you heard me! Delicious, cured Italian ham on topped of garlicky, buttery, perfect mashed potatoes, and topped with parsley and some cheese. Now, I'm a really opinionated foodie and usually if I make something it's complicated, but these 4 simple ingredients or so(not sure if it's more than one cheese) on a grilled pizza are just DIVINE. Ok, that was corny, but seriously. Order it. It's $12 and can be found on the piece of paper of specials for the night. I'm not sure what nights they do it, but if you see that, you order it. Got it? ;) I've actually asked repeatedly the secret to how it works and all I've gotten so far is "really good mashed potatoes" as a response. Maybe one day. I am a weekly regular now, because of that dish and I've tried their Caesar salad, which was delicious with the warm garlic crouton on top. I'm hoping that they don't have it the pizza one night I go so I can try something different, but if they do, well I'll still be happy and order it. =D It's a good value and their drinks are good too-the Espresso Martini is delicious. Wow! This place may not have great curb appeal but the food and service is fantastic. The bread was great, bought from a local bakery. We both had veal parmigiana, I had mine with pink vodka and paparadelle. My husband had his with penne, both were great. I started with the calamari marinara. Divine is one of Warwick's best kept secrets. The food is unbelievably delicious and the staff makes you feel like part of the family. We go religiously on Monday nights for their special. A bottle of wine, two salads, and two entrees for 34 bucks! My favorite is the Chicken Marsala, but anything Ramone makes you will be good. Typically, Fran or Anthony will be working, and we look forward to seeing them both! They always greet us with a smile, remember us by name, and keep us in the loop about new specials going on. My wife and I drove by this place a hundred times and never seemed to notice it was there, because the outside looks a lot like someone's house. Also I think it had a different name before. However once we did notice it and stop in for dinner we instantly became fans. We usually stop in once a month now. The Honey Onion & Goat Cheese Pizza, and the Spicy Sausage Pizza are excellent. My favorite dinner dish ... Chicken Marsala with a side of the Penne Vodka ... to die for! Wow!! We live across the street and we have never been here. It was lick your plate delishious! I tried the Duck over risotto special and my bf tried the swordfish. Both plates were absolutely tasty. The risotto had squash zucchini and tomatoes in it. It was the best risotto I've ever had and that's saying a lot cause I loveeee risotto. The duck was perfect and not greasy AT ALL as duck usually is. I had a glass of wine and sangria and both were super tasty. What a great meal we had on West Shore Road In Warwick, my Mom had chicken piccata and thought the flavors were wonderful reminiscent of Basta circa 2000. I had chicken over arugula with a sundries olive oil dressing and it would order it again next time. My husband had veal and the sauce was great but he thought the veal was a little chewy. Our service was great our waiter was alone on a Monday night and they were very busy but we never felt ignored. Looks like a great place to eat at the bar and grab dinner. Never been disappointed with this place for great Italian food, plus its so close to my house! I consider myself a regular, I order takeout at least once a month from here. I've ordered a few things but I always go back to my favorites, chicken parm and marsala. They do a phenomenal job with these dishes as well. You kinda can't go wrong with anything here. The only thing that might be weird for people is the atmosphere if eating in the restaurant. It's like eating in someones house. The one time I did eat in the restaurant, I felt odd. I was at a table and where I was sitting, it was in between 2 rooms kinda, so it felt like I was in a spotlight or something, like I was in the middle of the room. I only went there once and sat at a table. The ones near the bar look nice and quaint. Either way, you need to try this place. It is really good, and I bet you will feel the same way. I have never had a bad dinner from this place. Update: Only reason I deducted a star was due to overhearing the cook(looks like he's possibly Spanish ethnicity) complain on multiple occasions about doing take-outs. This restaurant is the absolute best italian restaurant there is. My wife and I frequent this establishment often for a date night. The food is always the best. Went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars.... After driving past approx ten million times over the years, we finally gave it a try. Bread came out and it was delicious - more like croutons lightly toasted and served with a tasty oil/balsamic mixture. We ordered the mozz marinara app and it was good, only 5 sticks but the sauce was very tasty. Wife had papardelle pink vodka and I had a garlic butter steak for our mains. She loved her pasta, I wasnt a fan of the sauce - I like it a little thicker and more on the alfredo side. My steak was a bit over cooked but was well seasoned. Potato's served with it were unremarkable. Service was very good, prices were average. Theyh have a build your own pasta dinner which is a good value at $9 (plus cost of protein if ordered). We will probably go again, next time I will give the pasta a try. read more
