We just went to Dockside Café in Harwichport. I will not return. They refused to give me a glass of tapwater because they said they didn't have a filter. People drink the water in Harwich. This is just a way of forcing you into buying a drink .We placed our order anyway and before we paid we noticed an up charge of almost 9 dollars. It said delivery fee. We were eating right there . When I asked about it she said we charge a 15% delivery fee on every order over $20. Not only do I find this unacceptable, but when I mentioned that no one told us about this, her response was that she was telling me now. This was not meant to be a tip as there was also a tip jar. Good food, beautiful views and dog friendly seating outside (with umbrellas). Breakfast is served 8am - 11am and lunch is after 11am. The menu features avocado toast and egg breakfast options. The lunch has lobster rolls, tacos, sandwiches, salads, etc. I had the shrimp platter which came with big shrimp pieces and fries for $22. My friend got the fish tacos and they came with huge pieces of fish, I was impressed! Good view and lots of seating outdoors. Got the dockside ocean fries and they were awful. The fries themselves were fine but they had about on drop of sauce of them and some old cilantro. We asked for some extra sauce and received watered down yogurt with some lime and some sort of flavorless spice in it.
