We've been to the Pelican Room to dine and no one at the time could tell us who these OGs are. Anyone? This looks like a good story.

We love coming here when it's cold and grey, just the two of us, for a quiet bowl of some of the greatest chowder on the planet, some sourdough bread and wine. We also really enjoy a big family dinner here; the last time they put us in the John Wayne room around the side, which is splendid. There is a nice harbor view and we get the direct attention of our hilarious and fabulous bartender. The Bouillabaisse is incredible, so fresh. The cedar plank salmon is excellent, it has a delicate little crust and opens into a rich perfectly done salmon surrounded by beautiful roasted vegetables. The cedar plank ribeye is also excellent. The only bummer is that hours are limited but that is par for the course for most restaurants up in Sequim. The history of this place is pretty neat too.

Lovely dinner with our neighbors at Dockside Grill! I am rather surprised at how high the prices are! Duck: $60. Halibut: $80. Steak: $110. Ouch. I felt a bit bad since our neighbors were treating us! We started with coconut shrimp and fried green beans for appetizers. The coconut shrimp were ok. They were a bit overfried. The fried green beans were excellent. All four of us shared both appetizers. I ordered the duck and despite asking for medium to medium rate, the duck was well done. Nonetheless it was tasty, just cooked more than what I requested. My table mates all enjoyed their mains and we ordered two desserts: crème brûlée and a semifredo that wasn't in the dessert display. Both were yummy.

What we ordered was fantastic. Fiona took excellent care of us as well as other support staff. Sorry we didn't know your name. Calamari appetizer was a perfect starter. The Bouillabaisse was flavorful with lots of seafood. Salmon salad with the pistachio dressing was also very good. Dungeness burger tasty also filled with lots of crab meat. The restaurant overlooks the marina which made for a pleasant view during our meal.

The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe with comfortable seating (awesome swivel chairs) and friendly energy - perfect after a little casino fun or just for a solid meal. The star of the show was the fry bread with berry butter. It was absolutely phenomenal - warm, pillowy, slightly crispy on the edges, and paired with this incredible house-made berry butter that was sweet, tangy, and addictive. I could have made a meal out of that alone. The chowder was excellent - rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they put real care into it. I also tried one of their burgers, and it was cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients and a great bun. Juicy, flavorful, and satisfying - easily one of the better burgers I've had in the area. What really made the experience special was the service. Our server Aaron was exceptional - attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. He checked in at the right times without being intrusive and made us feel right at home. Top-tier service like that turns a good meal into a great one!

Steak was so well done you could hardly cut it, ordered med well. Came with a very hot spicy butter on top. So hot that my grandson could not eat it. 26.00 and waitress tasted and could care less that it was so hot. Farmers Scramble was so awful I only had three bites. Pancakes were so cold butter would not melt. I got sick from the scramble, glad I didn't eat more of it. Almost 67.00 for breakfast not including tip. Would not recommend but recommend that it be inspected by the state.

She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.

The food was all very good and well-prepared. I had duck and it was some of the best duck that I've had in a restaurant aside from Peking duck in a couple very specific Cantonese restaurants. I will definitely come back here next time I'm on the peninsula.

Regardless of your belief, or non belief, this place is worth patronizing. They are nice and kind people running the place. Just enough seafood choices during this season, but I am looking forward to more options soon. I took home a piece of regular smoked salmon. They had sold out of the other two (pepper/garlic and candied). And I got a Dungeness crab already cooked and they cleaned for me. They boxed and bagged everything perfectly to go. Basically, I must say they know what they are doing when it comes to the proper handling of seafood. The salmon was smoked perfectly but just a wee bit too salty, but still delicious. I seasoned my crab and heated in the air fryer for 4 minutes. It was so very fresh and good. They told me that they do their own crabbing and catching, so same day caught seafood is available. I could tell it was fresh because the Dungeness crab was the best and tastiest I have had even though I cooked it the day after I bought it. First bite my thought was "This crab is super fresh". Recommending you stop by and order some seasonal seafood you like. Oh, and if you like dogs their little chihuahua-dachshund puppy mix is named Chevy. While he was safely distanced from the food he was an adorable attraction. If you can zoom in on the picture you'll see him sitting high on the right side of the photo.
