When I arrived, there was nobody at the maitre'd stand so I just got in line like the other two parties ahead of me. I quickly figured things out and made my order of the fried Fish and Shrimp platter with cajun fries. I just came from the gym so I was pretty hungry. The food came out piping hot and it was simply delicious. The food was fried/cooked perfectly with no excess oil. Portion wise, I feel that I got good value for my money. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but I guess I'll have to visit again!

My daughter, who's been here a few times, ordered the Shrimp & Grits and like her last visit said they were the bomb! My husband ordered Fish & fries and said the fish was good, but he didn't like the fries. I tried 1 then ate as much of them as I could. They were actually pretty good, so maybe his taste was off. The atmosphere was nice and I was sitting in front of the live performer and he did a fantastic job on the guitar.

Other reviewers enjoyed their grits so perhaps it was just an off day or a bad batch (or maybe a different cook). I just took a few bites of it and left the majority of it.
