What a cute little place to eat! I was with a group of friends and we couldn't decide what to eat and we stumbled across this gem. We walked in and Kaita greeted us. She was super friendly, super helpful, and quick. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from and there is a full bar. There were 4 of us originally and 2 friends joined later. She had no issues with us pulling 2 tables together to accommodate. I got the Kay-Sa-Dill-Uh lol. It took me reading it out loud to get it. It was perfect and I ordered wings to go. Actually our whole table ordered wings to go as we were in an AirBnb and figured we might get hungry late night. I would totally come back to this place. I usually travel to Myrtle Beach at least once a year so I'm keeping this place in my back pocket!

Samatha was a great barmaid, she lets you know what's on happy hour and for food. The happy hour menu is definitely a win win. Very cheap drinks! If you want some cheap drinks this is your place for happy hour!! I gave them a two because the wings were nasty. No taste very bland. I got the Jamaican jerk, and garlic Parmesan, they were tasteless. The worst wings I've ever tasted. I would come back but no for the food. For the service I received from Samatha and the cheap drinks! Who can turn down cheap drinks right lol

Daughter and myself ate for the 3rd time at the Oleander Dr. location and it was terrible. Wednesday night 6:11 and I ordered the "Big Reuben" that wasn't big or made right. The cornbeef should shaved and not chunky like this was, 1 small bite from each half and I had to complain. French fries that we both got were an hour old, colder than the restaurant ! Onion rings were excellent but not for a meal. Server was Sydney G and she was great as was the female bartender (balanced cocktails). Very disappointing being prime hour for dinner ! With 50 nearby choices I think next trip will be eating at "Does Matter".

Had 2 different flavors of chicken wings this past time out there. Ordered both extra crispy and received them as ordered. Garlic parm wings were sauced nicely and had that great tangy flavor, all were topped with fresh parmesan cheese. Also tried the bbq wings and they were awesome as well. Homemade bleu cheese just can't be beat. They've updated their daily happy hour cocktail menu to include a bunch more liquors. They dropped a Hennessey pour on me for only five bucks. Jim Beam pours are three. Great value. Saw lots of folks stopping in after work in their work uniforms and decompressing with a cocktail and gnoshables. Nice crowd, friendly people, vibrant atmosphere with attentive service. They also have a dishwasher right there in the bar area that they use frequently, so you know you're glassware is clean!

I went to the location off Oleander drive and we had great service. We went on Tuesday when they did a game starting at 7pm called Songo, which is where you guess the artist/song title/year and we came in 2nd place, it was really fun to do. Their wings were really good. The waitress we had was super nice. Of course with the name of "Doesn't Matter" and a slogan of "service the indecisive" we found it funny and had to give it a try, especially since I'm always indecisive whenever my fiancé asks me what I want for dinner The strawberry mimosa was pretty delicious & my fiancé got the mango (it's 2 for $10) which he said was pretty delicious as well. The kids menu also impressed me with how they spelt out quesadilla how it's pronounced for kids to try to be able to say it, which being a mom means everything to me that they did that for the kids. We will be back!

Came in with my bar hopping buddy to check the place out. We wanted to check the beer situation since we like to have some nice microbrews to try out. I also like a nice selection of whiskey for when I get "beered out" and want to switch out! Unfortunately, there is not much here if you want to step out from the common standard beer universe. As far as whiskey, same issue. Don't get me wrong, the place is still nice. It's been open for under a year. Also, the .50 wings were very good. We tried the mango habernaro sauce wings and they were very tasty. The bartender, Liz, was friendly and attentive. There were plenty of televisions to watch to catch your favorite teams. So overall it's was okay. Nothing special and blends in with the ton of other basic establishments available. Here in Myrtle Beach there are so many places to choose from that you have to stand out to draw in the regulars. To be fair, I will go back again to try the place out again. I want to try out some of the appetizers and entrees to be able to complete this review. I will update when that happens.

Carolina Forest neighborhood gem in the same shopping center as Kroger on Carolina Forest Blvd ! I came in with my better half to check out their happy hour, 4 -7 pm, every day of the week. Craft beers are $3 draft or bottle and domestic drafts/bottles $2 during h.h. Any appetizers in typed in teal on the menu are $2 off the regular menu price. My Left Hand Milk stout was served in a frosty glass for only 3 bucks. We ordered cheese curds to start and they were only $3.99 and melty delicious. Crispy breading and not at all greasy, they were served with homemade ranch dressing. The curds came out so quickly that we hand't even decided on our meal choices. Our bartender Jo was very friendly and helpful navigating their menu. I chose the french dip with fresh cut fries which offered me plenty of meat and cheese on a fresh roll. The side of au jus was a perfect compliment. Jo told us that they opened in December of 2017 and it looks new and clean. Plus, it has over 20 tv screens with 2 electronic dart boards, a couple interactive video games and a pool table. Whether you like football or baseball you are sure to find a screen with something worth watching on it. I wasn't a fan of the country music, but it was played at a reasonable volume and I bet if we asked them to change it, they likely would. Food was hot and fresh, and my beer was nice and cold. I plan on returning many times as this is my new go to neighborhood tavern.

If you haven't tried doesn't matter yet, you're missing a treat. Wing lovers stop in on 1/2 price Wednesday's and have a cold beer. Zoe gives great customer service! I'll be back!

They quickly seated our party of five, which was a great start to our visit. The service was okay. Nothing over the top, but not bad either. There were a few times our drinks got low, and we had to look around for our waitress, but it wasn't a huge deal. One thing I did notice was that the restaurant felt a little warm and humid inside, but with how busy it was, I can understand why. Now let's get to the best part--the food! My mom ate the crab cakes and cleaned her plate. She said they were so good she almost licked the plate clean! The kids had the chicken tenders and loved them. They were just a little overcooked, which is why we ended up taking some home, but they still enjoyed them. My wife ordered the HUGE grilled shrimp salad and finished every bite. She left happy, but she did mention she would have liked a few more shrimp, especially considering the price. As for me, I had the Catch of the Day, which was swordfish. Let me tell you--if you've never tried swordfish before, go to Carolina Roadhouse and order it! I had mine broiled, and it was cooked perfectly. It was tender, flavorful, and hands down one of the best fish dishes I've had. My only complaint? I wanted more! Overall, my little family had a great experience, and we'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll finally be trying the famous ribs that everyone keeps talking about. Thanks for a great meal, Carolina Roadhouse! From the Griggs Family

We were promptly seated and drink orders were taken. The waiter reappeared about 15 mins later with drinks and cheese rolls and took the table's order. We settled on the Aspen family meal which consisted of 2 meats and 4 sides. We chose smothered pork tenderloin and fried chicken along with mac 'n cheese, collard greens, fried okra and candied yams. Fried chicken was awesome, crispy, with an assortment of dark and white meat pieces. We were looking for a knife because of the pork tenderloin and realized you don't need it. It was that tender. You could cut it with a fork and it too was awesome. Everyone raved about all the side items except the mac & cheese it was a bit on the bland side so it was not our favorite. There was no need for a refill of any of the food. The first round was very ample sized and everyone left very satisfied. And if I have a bit of feedback, our waiter was not attentive unlike the waitress serving the tables in our same area. He was didn't bother to come back and see if we needed a refill on any of the drinks or the food. The only disappointing thing was they no longer offer you a small sample size dessert to finish up your meal. It's been a while since I've dined here so I'm not sure how long that change has been in place. However, we understand the food industry continues to be impacted by the current economy. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. It's a nice place to feed a large family who hates buffets.

Will say the area, the location, the draw and the atmosphere is fantastic, but not the food. Our family left disappointed by the overall quality of the meal, particularly given the establishment's reputation and the high price point. The cost for 4 people exceeded our expectations an amount that felt disproportionate to the overall experience provided. The service was adequate. Our waitress was courteous, but could have kept up on our drink refills. The food fell significantly short of our heightened anticipation. Dishes arrived at the table within minutes of ordering, far quicker than would be consistent with individual dish preparations. This is served family style with options of your main courses and sides. The okra was good, but had some very hard pieces. I bit down on one that was so hard it could have broken a tooth. Green beans were decent, but extremely salty. The creamed potatoes were the best thing in my opinion and we were able to be served both the white & brown gravy's. The fried chicken was so dry and uneatable, with extremely minimal flavor and texture that did not meet standard expectations for Southern-style preparation. We realized after the fact: you can request the chicken parts. The macaroni & cheese tasted mushy offering little depth of homemade character. The biscuits were also very dry. They looked great, but tasted bland. The fried fish & tartar sauce was probably the most memorable dish. However, not everyone in our party had it because they do not like it. There's other options for "main" choices, but you'll have to compromise as a group. You'll have to do the same as far as the sides too! I would not recommend Paula Deen's Family Restaurant based on this visit and would advise potential patrons to consider other options for Southern comfort food while in Myrtle Beach. There are many more options within this great broad-walk complex. That said, I would suggest shopping in the gift store located in the downstairs of the building, as there are lots of merchandise that represents Paula Deen far better than her eatery. * If you happen to be a Food Network FAN (like I am). Flavor Town is coming to the other side of town. Location will be at the Myrtle Beach Mall & will open in June 2026*

We visited this location just before Christmas 2025 at about 6:30 pm on a weeknight and the joint was quite lively. They had a singer/guitar player doing his thing (we didn't really care for him, but that's ok) and the bar was well staffed. It's called Bourbon Street, but it's definitely not a whiskey or bourbon bar. Yes, they have Blanton's and a few other premium bourbons, but you won't find anything exotic at all here bourbon wise. This place is a sports bar that does bar food and steaks and they run happy hour specials as well. We didn't eat on our visit, but those that ordered food had dishes/items that definitely looked appealing. Prices are pretty fair here, but we felt the gem of this location was it's service. We never had to wait long at all to be served or refilled. Their bartenders (we were served by three different ones) were very friendly and quite attentive to all their customers. There's free wifi and plenty of seating both at the bar and at tables throughout. The floor plan is cut up sort of weirdly and I do wish it was one huge, open floor plan, but the roof support doesn't seem to allow for it. They do have a small stage in one corner for musicians, etc. This is a good sports bar that seems to do a really good job of sports barring. Check it out if you're looking for a competent and friendly sports bar.

Luckily I saw a packed place on Mr. Joe White Avenue called Simply Southern Smokehouse. Place looked legit and had a full parking lot so I pulled in. There is only one way in and once you get in, the cashier is on the right with the $15 all you can eat buffet right next to it. The $15 also included all you can drink soft drinks, water and sweet tea. I paid my money and grabbed a plate and ran right up to the buffet. They start out light with vegetables and sides, working up to the main courses of fried chicken, fried fish, pulled pork, smoked chicken and some hot wings. After that, they had some mac & cheese, and then the desserts which was blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler, homemade banana pudding...and a couple of other things. I started off with some broad beans, stewed okra and tomatoes, smoked chicken and hot wings. I brought my plate and my silverware to an empty table, which was getting hard to find as the place was so packed and then went up to fetch me a glass of water to wash it down with. They serve Pepsi products and of course sweet tea but I was going to save my calories for dessert. The place was clean, well lit and the seating was well designed with booths along the wall and tables in the center... and plenty of room between the tables. Once seated I dug right in. The broad beans were excellent. Done right and full of flavor. The stewed tomatoes and okra, although cook correctly was a bit bland for my liking. The smoked chicken was excellent and I used a bit of the golden SC BBQ sauce on it...great...and homemade. The hot wings were the real deal meaty and moist with a nice kick. I finished the plate in about five minutes. Time for round two. On my second trip up, I put some collard greens, lima beans, a piece of fried chicken and a piece of fried fish on the fresh plate. As I sat down to eat, I put a bit of hot vinegar sauce on the collard greens and dug in. The collards were excellent and the homemade vinegar hot sauce gave it a bit of a kick and bite. The Lima beans were soft and loaded with flavor. I then moved on to the fried chicken, which was cooked correctly with the skin crispy and well battered and the meat moist on the inside. That said, it was bland. Given how well the beans were seasoned I was surprised. Same thing with the fish, but they had a real good house sauce for it which gave it a nice flavor and saved it, but overall both the fried chicken and the fried fish were bland. I then went up for a plate number three and realized I was not gonna be able to eat anymore mains, which was a shame since the pulled pork looked great... It will have to wait for the next time I come. I did, however leave a bit of room for dessert and I'm glad I did . The banana pudding was delicious with a full banana taste and 'Nilla wafers on top and bottom adding a bit of crunch. I only had enough room for one of the cobbler so I chose peach and it did not disappoint. Nice and warm with a sweet peach flavor and tasty crumbles. I wanted more but controlled myself. As I got up to leave, I placed five dollars on the table for the cleanup guy who was hustling and keeping the place neat and tidy. I then looked around and noticed this was a real local spot full of people from Myrtle Beach. You have families, elderly people, young people, construction workers and people from local businesses. For $15 it cannot be beat. Not only will I be back again but I plan on bringing some of my friends from up north who are going to love this place...plus I gotta try that pulled pork and Mac and cheese...if the fried chicken and fish have more seasoning, I'll up them to 5 stars.
