Another overpriced coffee shop. FYI, the prices posted on the menu on their website are inaccurate. For example, the extremely dry tasteless vegan banana bread is $3.79 not $3. So basically it's $4 because I was too embarrassed to ask for change. If you are going to charge $4, that's fine but don't lie on the posted menu. Also the checkout guy didn't seem to understand a word I said. Very confusing. And so noisy. read more

Dolce is simply delicious! Whether you are having brunch or a mid afternoon treat, their food is delicious. The avocado toast is my favorite. Their house made pastries are also very good. The créme brûlée Danish roll is to die for. Very accommodating, and very pleasant staff. read more

I fell in love with this cafe! Not only do they have the best coffee, the chef is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. All the food items on the menu that I've tried have been so fresh and taste so organic. My family and I sat in their outdoor seating which gave us the opportunity to laugh and take in all of the beauty of the Addison Circle. One of the best bistro spots I've been to. Even though they are new in the area this is one you don't want to miss out on. The food is fantastic such as the orange cake which has a velvet like texture with a beautiful flavor profile. They also have amazing drinks such as the lavender latte. The food is fare as most items tend to be very greasy. The male staff are cordial and friendly, although the female owner of the place is quite snarky if you ever call to make an order to go. One time, she refused to make my latte until I arrived and I live 2 mins away. The next time I called in a coffee order and the female owner answered the phone, so I gave my order to her again. I got there while it was being made, although the coffee this time, was lukewarm when it was handed to me. Interesting...the owner seems to be angry at life in general yet she comes across as over-the-top faux-friendly. read more

I spontaneously came here after dropping off a friend in Addison Circle. No infamous food pics but this place is great. I had an omelette with a side of potatoes and a bacon. I also had chai tea latte with oatmilk. The food was great no complaints and the lady who took my order and brought the food out was wonderful. I sat outside before the burning Texas sun. There's plenty of space inside and I can't wait to go back and try their pastry. read more

I decided to check this place out on a relative whim despite it being a half-hour drive from my apartment, and I'm glad I did! The lattes that my brother and I ordered were smooth and well-made, and the pastries we tried (a caramel eclair and a chocolate chip scone) were of very high quality. As someone who regularly bakes at home, I was extremely impressed with the texture of the scone in particular; it put that of a Starbucks/random chain scone to complete shame. Dolce Paradiso is exactly the type of small business that you should support. Just starting up so giving them a chance. Service slow one waiter/barista/casher/bus boy....... And the cook. Coffee was not bad. Pastries fresh but probably not baked there. I was visiting Addison this weekend and stopped in on Sunday morning. I got a sampling of things to try for my family...a cream cheese filled pastry, a cinnamon roll, a beautiful heart-shaped brownie, waffles with fruit and agave syrup and a cappuccino to sip while I waited for my food.
