Such great service for a fast pace Kbbq restaurant that is always packed! They give good portions and the meat is always such good quality. Even their side dishes are quality and taste fresh! May was our server for the night and took great care of us.

Gopchang is kind of hard to find around the Bay Area but Don Blanc does it perfectly! The meat quality is amazing and service is very fast. We got the gopchang combo with pork jowl and pork belly as a la carte items. It comes with plenty of bonchan and lettuce wrap which is a great addition to the meat!

High quality meats cooked in front of you, Don Blanc is easily the best KBBQ in the northern bay. It's not AYCE, but the meat quality will easily leave you satisfied and full. The best options for groups is the Combo Set (you can always top off al-a-carte if needed). Brisket is excellent, as is the marinated galbi. Also solid are the seafood pancake, kimichi fried rice and tofu soup. Everything about Don Blanc just gives "satisfying meal" vibes. If I'm looking for a reliable, high quality KBBQ experience, this is the one I'm checking out any day of the week.

Great surprise in finding this gem in Oakland. We Yelped obviously and are appreciative of the great reviews. It was a great experience overall. There are a few delicious menu options available pork, beef, and combo including seafood. We opted for the dwaeji/*pork, plain and seasoned. We did originally order a side of chadol/sliced beef, but after seeing the amount of pork we cancelled it. It was still plenty of food. The banchons and ssam/lettuce were amazing. Of course there were sliced garlic and jalapenos and kimchi to grill as well. Also, we ordered beer of course, usually pork goes great with soju. But, I had to drive to our hotel still. The service was great and everyone was friendly. The location is a bit hard to fine and tucked away a little, was worth it. The space is pretty good size and comfortable. If you're not into k-bbq(?) there are a few other choices next door. Enjoy!

We came here on a Friday night with a party of 7 and had such a great experience! There's a convenient button at the table to call the servers, which made it so easy to get attention from staff whenever we needed anything. We ordered the combo sets, corn cheese, fried calamari, and of course, soju and some beers. Such a fun spot for celebrating, and enjoying a meal with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Don Blanc is our go-to spot for gopchang (small intestines) and daechang (large intestines). We've been here multiple times, and the quality and service are always top tier. On our most recent visit, we ordered the large intestine combo, which was served sizzling tableside on a grill. I recommend grilling the intestines until they're crispy on the outside while staying rich and juicy inside. Although the menu says it's for 4-5 people, our party of 3 (2 men, 1 woman) finished it easily. The portion felt a bit smaller than on previous visits, but we were still very satisfied because the quality of the innards was excellent--no smell or gamey taste at all. Don't knock it till you try it--this is one of the best spots for gopchang and daechang in the area. Parking: There are limited spots in the small plaza, but we've never had issues finding street parking in the residential area on 44th Street.

Samgyeopsal (Pork belly) was grilled to perfection. The ban chan (side dishes) tasted fresh. The Lychee soju (Hallasan brand, my favorite) paired perfectly with the samgyeopsal. The manager was such a vibe, super friendly, held a great conversation with my boyfriend and me, and was overall very attentive. Everything came down to a total of $63! Not bad at all, and we were so satisfied and full. Don Blanc for the win again!

    Is parking safe?

First of all, my order was TO-GO. And let me tell you... when I got home and opened that bag, I was honestly blown away. My food was packaged with so much care, precision, and pride--it was neat, organized, and handled like it actually mattered. That alone told me everything about the level of service in that building. Candalen--YOU DID THAT. The attention to detail on my plate did not go unnoticed. You treated my food like it was being served in-house, and that speaks volumes about your work ethic and pride in what you do. Aaron--listen... that peach lemon drop??? BABY. That was my first time trying one and it was EVERYTHING. Smooth, flavorful, perfectly balanced--you made that drink an experience all by itself. I will be back JUST for that. And let's talk about the vibe--the music, the energy, the atmosphere--it all came together in a way that made the entire visit feel GOOD. Not just food... a whole experience. But what really stands out is this: It has been a LONG time since I've experienced service this genuine, this intentional, and this excellent. Not rushed, not careless--EXCEPTIONAL. Management, if you are reading this--please understand--you have some powerful people on your team. Candalen and Aaron are the kind of employees that elevate a brand. They are the reason people come back. They are the reason I will be telling others. This wasn't just a good experience. This was the kind of experience that turns customers into loyal supporters. I will absolutely be back--and I will be bringing people with me. Until next time, WUHAPN NATION

Finally, we were so excited to see it was open on a Saturday an we came in for lunch. To order you need to scan the QR code and pay plus tip before a single person spoke to us or offered us service. From the menu we saw they were out of beef ribs, smoked chicken, rib tips, no peach cobbler, no banana pudding and no kool aid. I come for their brisket and my friend loves ribs so we went ahead and ordered combo plates to share. Mine was the brisket with a side of collard greens, she had the pork ribs, a hotlink with a side of Mac-n-cheese, & cornbread. For drinks we had lemonade and an Arnold Palmer. I'm not sure what has happened over the last few months but the quality of the food, the service and the expectation to pay and tip up front were very disappointing. The greens, Mac cheese, brisket and ribs were cold. The hotlink wasn't BBQ'ed it was pan fried. Everything tasted like warmed up leftovers and we will not return. For 2 of us to eat it came to $100 and we were not satisfied. The dining room is an attractive space, it was completely empty. The staff was unclear about what we ordered, had to be told to bring our drinks, bartender is also working as server and apologized for his uncertainty. I suggest this restaurant hire and train more staff if they intend to keep their doors open.

Everett and Jones once had a location in Sacramento many years ago and I used to visit often. I loved their barbecue sauce and still buy it in stores when available. I had that in mind when telling my family, 'Let's go!" I was disappointed with the food when we arrived. The first thing I noticed when our food came out was that the barbecue sauce wasn't as thick as I remembered, it was very runny, it's didn't stick to the mean. I also saw a lot of fat on the ribs, but thought maybe the taste would be good, so we prayed and ate. Unfortunately, the ribs were fatty and tough to find good meat. I also tried the brisket, which was a little fatty but VERY good. I ordered mac and cheese and greens as sides, but didn't like either. The mac and cheese had a bit of charred cheese on top (which I love), but I wasn't impressed afterward. My friend's hot link had zero flavor, just texture, which was strange. I was embarrassed because I had bragged about how hot the links were! Sike! Everyone at the table enjoyed the sweet cornbread. We also loved the mango lemonade. The desserts were outstanding: caramel cake, key lime pie, and pecan sweet potato pie. I highly recommend those! I'd visit again but skip the ribs and links. As a family member said, 'Don't eat your leftovers alone--you might need someone to do the Heimlich if you choke on the fat." jkjk

Lunch was next level -- brisket and lamb, both ridiculously good. And the sides weren't afterthoughts; they were some of the stars of the show. My bro and I left happy as hell. But let's talk about breakfast. Three days after that first trip, I woke up thinking about those latkes -- crispy as hell on the outside, perfectly done inside, with sour cream and applesauce. So I went back specifically for those and somehow ended up having two of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Not "really good for the price." Just ridiculously good. My text to my bro after eating them pretty much says it all. My one tiny adjustment next time: I'll ask them to go light on the aioli. It was a little heavy for my taste, but that's completely in my control and sure as hell wasn't enough to keep me from destroying both sandwiches. Five stars remain intact. How there isn't a line down the block for this place, I don't know. Just know what kind of place you're going to: the setup is casual and no-frills. You order at the counter, they call your order, paper plates and plasticware, booth seating and some outside seating. Friendly, laid-back, Oakland BBQ/diner kind of vibes. And the prices are pretty damn reasonable, especially for food this good. You're paying for the food rather than a bunch of restaurant frills -- and the food can hang with places charging a hell of a lot more. Get there now before everybody figures this place out. P.S. I would have taken a pic of the pastrami sando, but it was gone in seconds between my son, wife and me.

I can't touch all of them but I can tell you that the Big Three don't miss. Get yourself a brisket sandwich (on the pillowy challah roll) with a latke on the side (served with *both* sour cream and apple sauce) and a cheesecake for dessert (def start with the ube flavored one). Each one is well executed, but more important than any flavor is the care that goes into them. You sense that Ben wanted to get the crisp on the latkes just so, before sharing them with the town. The space itself is a big part of the joy as well. If you had your own shop, what would you paint on the walls? Murals of anime characters cover the place, and there is a pull-down screen for karaoke nights. Because there are some passionate customers too! Really an amazing chef and restaurant. We are lucky to have them serving up whatever comes to mind next.
