We called to find out How long is the wait for four People on a Sunday brunch and was told ten to fifteen minutes so we went but actually waited half an hour. It was a come on trick for you to come and stay which is not nice. People were waiting outside for a long time. The place is small and packed with people wall to wall. The only thing good is we had a nice waitress that cared but the kitchen did not get our orders right. Food was ok and prices were not reasonable. The only downfalls to the place that we experienced was that seating was a bit tight for a party of 6, and the potatoes weren't our favorite. Very comfortable place to eat. Great, friendly staff. My husband and I both ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with two coffees. Food came out fast. We came on a Sunday morning. Their door sign says that they open at 7am but on this day we were told they were opening at 8 which wasn't a big deal to us because we arrived at 7:50 and we were able to sit outside and look at the menu during the wait time. This place is amazing! The food is great and very well priced and a nice small local breakfast place to go to. I would definitely give it five stars if our waitress didn't try to pull a fast one on us! It was just myself and one other person and we both got one meal and we only ordered a single drink. We got our bill and realized it was $40! We noticed that the top of our bill was folded perfectly and we unfolded it and there was an extra charge for $10. We had a waitress with long dark brown hair in a pony tail and she put it on our bill on "accident", so she claims, and apologized but was very short with us when we brought it to her attention. I just do not understand how you accidentally put an extra charge on someone's bill then it some how managed to PERFECTLY get folded back and hidden. Don's Country Kitchen was my last stop out of town. Service was fast, food was great, and prices couldn't be beat. The food here has a truly home style feel to it, which is what I loved most! I ordered the "A" which is available during the week only. For $7 bucks you can get 1 pancake, 2 eggs, and either bacon or sausage. What a deal! Food came out fast and tasted great. A simple fun joint with a really nice atmosphere, I come here frequently for breakfast and have not yet been disapointed. A great assortment of items on the menu and for me out of the ones i've had, are awesome. One thing that stands out however is their biscuits & gravy! YUM!
