They have the regular sugar coated donut, which was nice and fluffy. The chocolate bar was not bad, I do like that one as well, but was a bit sweet for me. The cinnamon sugar was really good too. This place is 24/7 so grab whenever, though I'm not sure how fresh it is. I bought half a dozen, and after having a few bites left in the box, the donuts got a bit hard. My favorite doughnut shop in LA. Their selection is great, all the old school stuff and some of those creative unreasonably bright type things that people love taking photos of for instagram. I usually get the classics (chocolate and maple bars, raspberry jelly and lemon jelly filled, strawberry cake, etc) which are as good or better than any of your favorite childhood doughnut shops. They clearly use quality ingredients, know their craft and make fresh batches every day. Friendly staff and quick service. They're great about their rona safety protocols and, reading the other review about how they made a customer take a mask, I find that commendable, and hilarious that they made them pay for it. Came here for the first time the other night with my gf. I got a maple glazed buttermilk. She got a blueberry jelly-filled. And then, we got a raspberry butterfly, a large raised chocolate with sprinkles, and a maple bar. I really liked my glazed buttermilk. My gf was so-so on the blueberry jelly-filled, but loved the raspberry butterfly. The maple bar was a good maple bar and the raised doughnut with chocolate and sprinkles was pretty good. I came by around 10 PM and it was pouring rain. I tried to go to Krispy Kreme but insanely packed ! so I gave Doughnut Hut a try. The guy was friendly and patient with my first time. Got 3 fat donuts under $4!!! Super cheap let alone the taste were delicious. I guess I've found Krispy Kreme replacement :) Although I live 20 miles away and it's good knowing this is 24/7. I pass this donut shop daily and finally stopped in. The donuts were typical, in the best way. I got the apple fritter and blueberry cake donut. The apple fritter was a bit too crispy and fried, which took away from the flavor. There were plenty of apples inside tho, which was nice. The blueberry cake donut was soo good! This place is hot garbage. I bought 1 dozen donuts all different flavors like chocolate, maple, coconut, etc.... I get home. I start to eat the donuts with my family only to realize all the donuts were tainted with a strawberry flavor... none of the donuts I picked were strawberry themed. This was extremely annoying and inconvenient. It was a waste of time. Because even the chocolate donuts tasted like strawberry... At the time I ordered there were two men working the night I placed the order... Idk if they accidentally tainted the batter some how? Or made some sort of mistake? I always buy their specialty donuts: pistachio, Thai tea, bacon, green tea and red velvet. Their mini croissants too are so good and flaky. We would buy a lot and store them in the freezer. When we craved for it we would just pop it in the toaster oven and it's flaky again. They are all good and prices are reasonable. The only downfall is that they don't accept credit card.
