Truly a gem. If you're passing through town, don't miss this place. Extremely cheap food with good portions (just over $100 to feed 10 people) and food pops out of the kitchen at a steady pace.

Look at the portion of their fried rice!!! Yum!!

LOVE THEIR FRIED RICE AND WONTON SOUP!! The portions are huge!! Check out my pic!! I called in for pick up about 7:55pm on Sunday, thought they close at 9pm but they actually close at 8:30pm. The guy told me just come in and place an order instead. I got my ordered within 15mins, since they were about to close I decided to take my food outside the Worton's Market to enjoy. They totally forgot to give me the utensils so I had to use the lid of the soup container to scoop up my rice. :-( But the rice and the soup are delicious, I highly recommend getting them if you are up for some fried rice.

I'm so happy this is near my parents house. We go here often to eat the yummy inexpensive good. When we go for dinner we do one of the family dinners. Great selections and it's so much food we always have leftovers. This time we went for lunch which is a great deal. 7-8$ a person. It comes with soup - the wonton is delicious- chow mein, and whatever dish you want. I ordered Mongolian beef. Very delicious and had leftovers. Of course I'll be back again and again.

FOOD - Walnut Shrimp: battered shrimp with candied walnuts…read moreover broccoli. The shrimp wasn't crunchy enough. Walnut shrimp is my go-to when I have Chinese food so I'm a little bit of a walnut shrimp snob. This was pretty mid. 3.5/5 - Mongolian Beef: beef with onions, red bell peppers, and bok choy. The flavor was pretty good. The beef was tender enough. 3.75/5 - Orange Chicken combo: orange chicken with chow mein, and egg roll. The chicken wasn't dry but not very tender either. The flavor was okay. The chow mein and vegetable egg roll were pretty standard. 3.5/5 - Fried Rice and 4 Dumpling set combo: the fried rice was, also, pretty standard. The pork dumplings were pretty good. The side of wonton soup was good. 3.75/5 SERVICE: Service was pretty fast and friendly. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: Everything was okay. Nothing was bad, just nothing to write home about.

When I see Singapore chow mein on menu Is a plus. I love the curry spice & stir-fry noodle taste! Cordial staff- waited on me as a solo diner instantly. One thing I did notice was they didn't offer tea which is usually customary at Chinese restaurants. It's just an observation ( not a critique). Love all the original work of art on the walls. I felt like I was in someone's tasteful livingroom. Looking forward to returning after another hike in Auburn.

I forgot how good this restaurant can be!…read more Went for lunch on a cold day and I had the House Special Wonton Soup and my husband had the Shrimp Udon Noodle Soup. Both were outstanding!! So many wontons, meat and veggies in mine and a ton of shrimp and veggies in his. I really like that they have many options for lunch and old school family dinners. The service was fast and welcoming. Such a contrast to the service at the last Chinese restaurant we went to recently. If you are a wonton soup aficionado like me, go check out Hong Kong Inn's.

Hong Kong Inn DIDN'T ADD Bok Choy, Snow Peas, octopus, scallops, mussels, squid, Tiger Prawns to the Wor Won Ton Soup . . . WHICH BY THE WAY~I ADDED THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS TO THE AILING HONG KONG INN'S WOR WON TON SOUP! Disappointingly and more importantly, Hong Kong Inn's Wor Won Tons disintegrated when I brought the to go container home. Plus, on further inspection, the Wor Won Ton only had three shrimp, a couple of slices of chicken, a couple of slices of Twice Cooked Pork, two sprigs of broccoli, a couple of carrot slivers, AND a couple of zucchini slivers swimming in the Wor Won Ton broth--THAT'S IT???? Yup~This exponentially expensive economy is hurting Hong Kong Inn's ingredients list . . . $15.00 for a serving of Wor Won Ton Soup . . . Compared to a few years ago: Just review the photos because it's not a "figment" of my imagination the escalated price increases, indeed!

But yesterday, everything was different. The crunch was gone, and what batter there was had no flavor or crunchy texture. Half the chicken had no batter at all. The sauce was sour, and the spicy kick I loved was gone. The dark brown coloring with that lovely hint of caramel was replaced with a rusty reddish orange sauce. I ordered takeout, and I decided to eat a portion in my car before driving home. I tried, I really did. After a few bites, I closed the container and drove home, and immediately tossed it into the trash. I understand that many restaurants are trying to hang on in this economy. Maybe Lincoln Chinese tried some less expensive ingredients instead of raising prices. I'm here to say, I'd happily pay more for the version that has been my signature order for many years. No other restaurant could top your former General Chicken. PLEASE bring it back! So disappointed.
